Chapter 128 - Chapter 128 — A World Adjusts

Within days, there was only one word echoing everywhere—PingMe.

From tea stalls to corporate offices, from crowded buses to quiet homes, people spoke about it with the same excitement. The app was being called revolutionary not because it was complex, but because it was simple. Too simple to ignore.

Even people who could barely read knew how to open it, tap a name, and send a message. No manuals. No confusion. No barriers.

The installation count crossed fifty crores, and it didn't slow down—it accelerated.

After giving his final instructions at VP Square City, PK left quietly. His eyes burned slightly from lack of sleep; Titan Studios had kept him awake through the night. Even so, his expression remained calm, controlled.

As expected, when he reached Law Manor, his three birds were already waiting at the entrance.

PK parked the Benz wagon, stepped out, and was immediately surrounded—Lana on one side, Luna on the other, Eve just behind them. None of them scolded him. None of them questioned him.

Yet their eyes said everything.

They had dinner together, the atmosphere warm but restrained. PK ate silently, exhaustion weighing on him more than hunger. Once the plates were cleared, he walked straight to his room, removed his coat, and collapsed onto the bed.

He fell asleep instantly.

Lana blinked.

Luna stared at the closed door.

Eve sighed softly.

"He didn't even explain," Luna muttered.

"He didn't even look tired until now," Lana added.

Eve folded her arms, her expression unreadable. "That's exactly why he worries me."

The next morning, PK woke up refreshed and joined the twins for class as if nothing unusual had happened.

The campus buzzed with a single topic.

"Have you tried PingMe?"

"Did you see how fast the messages go?"

"You don't even need email!"

"My grandma is using it!"

PK listened quietly, hands in his pockets, expression neutral—but inside, a small sense of satisfaction settled deep in his chest.

The world was adjusting.

And it didn't even realize it.

During lunch break, Lana pulled out her new phone. "Okay, let's try it properly."

Luna nodded eagerly. Eve joined them a moment later.

They created profiles—simple photos, short bios. Within minutes, their phones buzzed.

PK: You guys figured it out fast.

Luna: Don't underestimate us.

Lana: So this is what kept you awake all night?

Eve sent a single message after a pause:

It's… smooth.

PK looked at the screen and smiled faintly.

No grand celebrations.

No loud announcements.

Just a quiet moment where he realized—

The first stone had been placed.

And the world had already begun to walk the path he designed.
