Chapter 121 - Chapter 121 – The Law of Love

The evening at Law Manor was tense. Eve had just received word that her grandfather, Henry Law, was visiting the manor tonight. The news hit her like a thunderbolt, and panic flickered in her eyes. She knew Henry's temper and his old-fashioned ways—there was no way he would approve of her relationship with PK, and certainly not with the twins involved.

The twins, Lana and Luna, caught the tension immediately. Their usually mischievous eyes widened in fear.

"Eve… he's coming here? Tonight?" Lana whispered, voice shaking.

"Yes… in about an hour," Eve replied, wringing her hands nervously. "I… I don't know how we'll survive this. Grandpa will never accept this!"

Luna groaned dramatically. "We're doomed. Doomed, Eve! I told you, PK is trouble, but I didn't think he would drag us into this storm!"

Eve shot them a glare. "Stop exaggerating! Just… just hope PK can handle this."

The three girls huddled nervously, whispering worst-case scenarios. "Maybe… maybe fake a suicide attempt? He always falls for that dramatic stuff!" Lana muttered, earning a stifled laugh from Luna.

Just as they were brainstorming, PK appeared at the top of the staircase, dressed casually yet impeccably, his usual calm aura radiating through the manor. The girls froze.

Henry Law entered shortly after, his eyes scanning the room. When they landed on PK, his face drained of color. He stood abruptly, rigid, and said in a voice that carried authority yet disbelief:

"PK? Here… in my house?"

PK descended the stairs slowly, a faint smile on his lips. "Yes, Grandpa Henry. I'm here."

Henry's expression betrayed shock, suspicion, and something else—curiosity. The manor was silent, every heartbeat audible.

PK stopped in front of him and spoke earnestly, his tone both respectful and confident. "I wanted to clarify everything. I'm in love with your granddaughter, Eve, and… and also with Lana and Luna. I care for them deeply, and my feelings are genuine. I want to spend my life with them, care for them, and protect them. I promise to be someone worthy of their love."

The girls' jaws nearly dropped. They didn't expect PK to deliver such a heartfelt explanation.

Henry blinked slowly, absorbing every word. Then, to everyone's shock, he smiled warmly. "You… you are serious? You've truly fallen for them all?"

"Yes, Grandpa," PK said sincerely. "Every single one of them. I couldn't imagine my life without any of them."

Henry's stern demeanor softened. He looked at Eve and the twins, then back at PK. "Do you have any objections, girls?"

Eve and the twins shook their heads vigorously. "No, Grandpa!" they chorused.

Henry laughed, a deep, joyful sound that filled the room. "Then I'm happy. PK… you've become part of our family. You've made me the happiest man alive."

PK's lips curved into a satisfied smile. "Thank you, Grandpa. I promise I won't disappoint you."

Then, turning to Eve, he said, "Bring the medicines, sleeping spray, and those pills you prepared. Grandpa, I want you to try them."

Eve quickly retrieved the carefully prepared bottles and handed them to Henry. His eyes lit up with delight as he examined each item, shaking his head in amazement. "These… these are incredible! You made these for me?"

"Yes, Grandpa," PK replied, feigning a serious expression. "It's my way of showing respect… and a little love."

Henry chuckled, almost jumping with happiness. "I don't want to disturb you all further. PK, you must visit our main home in the capital soon. The family will welcome you."

With that, he waved cheerfully and left, leaving the three women utterly speechless. Their faces were pale, eyes wide in disbelief, and they stared at PK as if he were some supernatural being.

"How… how did you do it?" Lana whispered, still clutching her chest.

"I… I mean, we even thought about faking dramatic stuff to convince him!" Luna added, shaking her head in awe.

Eve finally spoke, her voice a mix of relief and disbelief. "PK… you just walked in and… it's like a miracle. Grandpa actually likes you!"

PK grinned mischievously, leaning against the wall with arms crossed. "Well, what can I say? I'm good at solving problems… in more ways than one."

The girls groaned, half annoyed, half amused. "You are impossible!" Eve said, laughing despite herself.

"And you love it," PK teased, eyes glinting.

The manor echoed with laughter, relief, and the quiet thrill of victory, as PK silently counted another win—this one not on the battlefield, but in hearts and homes.
