Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 A Journey To A Mountain Begins

Author Notice : Hello readers. Its me, look I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be able to post some of the chapters for a specific fanfic story of mine.

Mainly the one I am referring to, is that of Halo Vahrian. The reason Ive not made new chapters for that story, it is because the amount of words per chapter that I've written, is very large, and I mean LARGER. I couldn't post the new chapters on webnovel, cause the words were just far too much, and that every time I tried to post it here in webnovel, the system just kept repeating error.

So if you are going to be reading the Halo Vahrian, please go to ( Wattpad ) The new title for Halo Vahrian is ( Halo X Gate). From there on you'll be able to fin and read new chapters that are sometimes going to be five thousand to ten thousand words per chapter.

___

However, as for halo hundreds, I'm going to still be posting the chapters for it on webnovel in the coming future.

Enjoy

Sof & Drop-Ship Sight

The familiar sounds of teenagers and kids alike pounced up and down, as some of them danced wildly. Various ones went and built a tents that looked like it was made by a caveman.

Nonetheless, this does not suggest that others similar to them were unaware of how to build a reasonably good tent. Rather than utilizing the provided resources for construction, the children opted to use wood and metal from their Drop-Ship to create their own.

However, some would say that their neighbors, the entire crews of the sister of fire, seems to fair way better then they are.

One of the one hundred who appears to have these inner thoughts is none other than Bellamy Blake, a chafy under comparison person who is acutely aware of his and his own groups' limitations in the face of these unsc folks.

Their neighbors didn't have to worry about building tents right in the middle of a sundown rain that had not long passed on in two hours.

He stopped and turned to one of the unsc people. He scoffed eyes clearly showing a sign of intrigued.

The person he was seeing, was the same woman he and the others first met when the dropship's front ramp opened out.

He glanced down at the piece of sticks in hand. Chuckling inwardly, Bellamy tosses it aside and made his way over to the female trooper.

And when he reached her in the midst of his stride, he unfortunately had to slow his pace with both palms out and up. "Woah, woah! It's all cool!" Bellamy said with worriedly sighing in relief.

"Next time announce yourself before walking up on me quietly." Gabriella told him as her right hand left the hilt of her pistol. "Though I do got to remind you, you should teach your boys to not put their hands on a lady that doesn't wish to talk when they clearly aren't interested."

Bellamy crosses his arms, smiling to himself more then he was to her. It was true of what the trooper lady informed him of... Two of one of the boys from his camp had attempted to make a hit on her in a flirtatious way. Sadly, they were denied it. One of the other tried to do the same. But was given the same treatment as his pal.

The duo, who's ego wouldn't allow them to give up kept on pushing forward to at least gain some sort of way that they can get something from the soldier. However, Gabriella simply pushed past them.

It was then and there that one of the two boys grabbed her by the shoulder and tried to stopped the woman in her tracks. Yet, Gabriella, surprisingly judo flipped the young kid and twisted his arm. The other one, stunned by the yell from his pal rushed towards her blindly. Gabriella scoffed at the untrained kid and quickly scooted back in time and bent down, tripping him, where it in turn got the blonde hair boy to fall on his rear where it now put him into a sleep.

Gabriella set down a box of tools, turned and stared at the tent of where these kid's own doctor in training was seen tending to one of her own. "If you want your people to stop ending up injured or worse, then I suggest that you and and your partner and leader, Clarke, teach your crew to stop doing something stupid that'll possibly get them in harms way."

"By what." Bellamy replied sarcastically crossing his arms as he glanced down at her. "By nearly putting one of my boys into a near coma."

Gabriella snorted, steadying herself from jumping down on the kid due to his unwavering ignorance, it was clear to her recognizing that he tends to learn at a later stage and often acts on his initial thoughts.

"listen here kid." the combat medic says voice slightly deeper then it usually is, she tilted her head up and stared at him in the eyes unafraid. "It you want your boys, or girls to not put themselves in situations that they can't clearly win in, then I suggest that you and treat them right."

Bellamy was about to question her further, however, just the mere moments they stood there, the longer he looked into the troopers eyes, he notices that she was uneffected by his obstinate prideful act.

Though when they kept their eyes on one another, Bellamy couldn't know what he was feeling, and he too was sure that the older woman was feeling the same ambivalent and pensive thought.

Regrettably, the brief moments shared between the two came to an abrupt conclusion due to a sudden disturbance occurring nearby.

The duo broke from their slight tensions and went looking for what it is the kids where up to now.

When they arrived, they came to an abrupt stopped. In the center were two kids who was in a scuffle. A boy from the one hundred, the other one was slightly smaller then his bigger opponent.

Gabriella saw that the teenager wore a long sleeve shirt in Grey, with the word unsc engraved on the back.

"Great, just another more tussle with our own people." Gabriella muttered. She trekked forth attempting to put a halt on this childish facade but was stopped by one of the boys from the one hundred.

"This is between those two lady."

Gabriella slowly looked from the hand that was on her armored chest and then up to the taller kid. "You have one chance to remove your arm from me, before I break one of your fingers."

The kid stared down at her, simply using his full height and size as a scare factor against the combat medic. "Like I said, this is a matter between those two." the boy said gripping the edge of Gabriella's front armor.

Gabriella only smirked, dropped the helmet she was holding in her right hand, as not even a second after she did so, she brought her left foot up and stomped the boy by his feet. Despite the fact that the kid wore some form of footwear, the trooper could still felt the kid's feet through the hardened steel boot she had on.

From there Gabriella didn't stop, grabbing him by the hair with one hand, the trooper brought his head down and kneed him in the face. The boy yelled out in pain from the immense pain only for him to be sent plopped aside by the blonde lady.

"Enough with you two!" A Fulminated Gabriella bellowed.

She reaches down for one of her own people, gripped him by the back end of his shirt and pulled him back, though with some great effort, not due to his height but of how much she's had to to forcefully detach his hands from his foe's wrist.

Seconds after she has had to do that, a loud footstep, attributed to the only heavily armored member of her crew, can be heard as he approaches the scene.

She looked to where the boy from the one hundred is, he stood up, face filled with infuriating fury and rushed towards her with his right fist raised.

Despite the speed he was moving at, a green armored arm of the Spartan seized the boy's forearm in midair..

"I think gone you've gone far enough kid." Daloka told the boy. He veered his head back to Clarke and Bellamy. "Perhaps you two could tell your lackeys, or crews to control themselves."

"Ive had a talk about an issue with the Bellamy kid regarding this kind of matter." Gabriella added in a light tone sensing the young boy shooting her a judgemental look.

Bellamy shot her a hard stare of being exposed by the trooper. But soon changed his mood and stepped forth. "I your case Ms. Gabi, the fight between one of my own." Bellamy says looking from the boy on the 100 and then onto the kid from the UNSC folks. "And that of yours, only started when we weren't present in their place."

"It Doesn't matter anymore." Clarke interrupted, getting up from her kneeling position after checking on the boy from her side. "What matters now, is that the fight is over. You!"

"What!?" Murphy responded slightly disturbed of being pointed at by the girl.

"These boy is one of your friends. Come and get him out of here." Clarke told him in a demanding tone of her voice.

"Who are you to boss us around!" one of Murphy's boys spoke up from beside him.

"Someone that is willing to care for her people." Replied daloka who released the arms of his struggling victim from his grip.

Murphy was preparing to question Clarke again, but he noticed Bellamy giving him a subtle side-to-side nod from his position.

"That's enough John." Bellamy called out to Murphy by his first name, knowing that once he does so, the seventeen-year-old will comply without a second try.

"Fine." Murphy responded by spitting at the mud ground, wiped his lips and pointed at the unsc boy that stood next to Gabriella. "But best tell your boy over there, that the next time he tried talking to a girl from our side, he'd be dealt with by us."

"I'd like to see you try tough guy!" The unsc teenager says hollering out to him in defiance.

Gabriella grabbed him by the edge of his shirt, pulled and had him stand behind her. She then turned and faced him fully.

"What the hell were you thinking kid."

"I wasn't talking to the girl." The boy replied exhaling as he then slowed his breathing to a normal state. "I Was only helping one of the kids in their camp. The girl he assume I was hitting on, she's the one who came to me first. I couldn't turned her away at first, but then yeah, we started speaking with one another. I only got into a scuffle between me and these jackasses boys, cause he thought I was hitting on his girlfriend."

"Excuse me." A Female voice spoke stepping between daloka and Clarke who were listening in on the conversation.

Gabriella turned to face the familiar voice, and a curious expression emerged on her face. "Oh you. Your that girl that tried to sneak into our ship to steal our stuff. What, were you trying to use Caleb here to sneak in too?"

"What, no." the girl replied in a hurry. "I was only sneaking in cause I needed something for my asthma... I Saw how you people treated that wells jaha kid. But me speaking to Caleb isn't the reason why the fight started."

"But aren't you that boy's girlfriend?" Monty budded in. He saw how the boy had been trying to talk to her ever since they've dropped down onto this planet.

"I'm his ex girlfriend. Olla and I had splitted apart two months before we dropped down here small eyes." the girl told Monty a bit annoyed at him for having to bring up a bitter memory she'd wish was long gone.

"Ex girlfriend!" Gabriella muttered underneath her breath. "Oh boy, teenage problems can be a issue of annoyance sometimes."

"I Can account to that." The spartan joined in.

"You do." Gabriella said not believing that someone of his caliber would ever go through some normal teenager life.

"No. Not me." daloka countered back smoothly stopping her on her track before she could've brought up something inaccurate. "Someone back in reach. A colleague, his daughter had dealt with the same issues."

"I See."

"Well, whatever that is with your colleague, it can wait." Clarke interrupted as she walked between them.

"And why's that?" Gabriella inquired glancing at the girl in question.

Clarke set a brown leather backpack down, unzipping it, in her right hand was a small copy of the previous map she held. She slipped into the inside of her backpack and looked back at the trooper in reply.

"I And a couple of guys are planning to head over to mount weather, gather some of the supplies, ones that were meant for the entirety of the kids that came from the dropship." Clarke responded as he lifted the nearly forty-pound backpack onto her arms.

"Questions though?" Monty interjected.

"What?" Clarke answered turning his way.

"How exactly are we supposed to carry foods from Mount weather, all the way back here." Monty responded in an inquiry.

In a correspondence to monty's inquire, Clarke griffin, Finn Collin, and a slightly confused Gabriella who followed where the two looked at. At that moment, it became clear to the trooper precisely who the young girl had brought along on this trip.

"You daloka?" Gabriella Uttered appearing to be slightly surprised by the unexpected event.

"Yes. I've offered my aid to these young kid and her two friends my help." Replied the Spartan, noting that he didn't need to keep watch over the Sof and its crew as there were enough people to do so. "Besides, I kind of wanna explore the world on foot."

"With the Spartan joining us, I'm afraid we will need two more people." offered Clarke who turned and faced her side of the group.

All of which seemed hesitant to even take a step forth... Observing that her own team was unwilling to take on the upcoming task, Clarke began to feel a sense of disappointment and despondency at being let down.

That is until a couple of moments later, Octavia Blake hopped forth in tow with Jasper being dragged by her.

"Sounds like a party!" Octavia let out, clapping her hands together as she looked from Clarke to the others. "Make it five!"

Yet Before her older brother Bellamy could've question her decision on placing herself in a situation she had no business in being in, karteria too added herself when she stabbed the head of her makeshift spear into the ground.

"Make it seven." The young woman chipped in.

"Do you think that this is too much!?" Clarke said looking at daloka for an answer.

"No." the Spartan replied nonchalantly seeing no issue with this many volunteers. "It's enough, but I'd say that we might wanna get to walking before the night rises."

"He's got a point." Gabriella responded, she looked down at her personal wrist watch checking to see that it was only two twenty six pm. "Best ya'll get going, unless you guys prefer to trek through the forest in the dark."

"You heard the lady." Octavia piped up as she kissed her brother on the cheek and followed after Monty, fin and Jasper. Glad that Bellamy had finally given in on her request to join them on the journey ahead.

Soon afterwards, Clarke, karteria trailed behind the group. The Spartan was about to follow too, but was stopped when Gabriella called after him.

"Daloka!"

"Yes?" he said glancing her way.

"Here." the trooper said tossing him a M6C-50 Cal desert eagle. "I think that thing fits you better then I do."

"Seems a bit heavy." Daloka said talking to himself as he turned the pistol from side to side.

"Here's the ammo boxes." the trooper Uttered offering him the ammunition for her gift. "Or I could just take it back, you know, since it's too heavy."

He would've laughed, hell even chuckle if he was any normal man, but daloka knew that it would take more then that to have him or any other spartan Two's to break in the face of his comrades or foes." Thank you Gabriella. I appreciate the gift."

Gabriella simply raised a brow in mere jolly at being thanked by someone of his caliber. "No problem big man." She replied back and tilt over to the right to see that the others were a bit far. "Now get going, I believe your new friends are skipping ahead of you."
