He knew why Orochi hadn't acted.

"He has become very weak. Either I or you... if one of us brings the flesh and blood of the other to the altar, we can summon GOD and enter the dimensional space where He exists.
"At that time, the weakened GOD will surely be unable to withstand my power. I will devour Him and become the new God!
"And you, King, the Strongest Man on Earth... You will be my nourishment! My capital to slay a god!"
Hearing this, King looked up in confusion. Watching Orochi gathering energy, his doubts grew, and a cloud of unease formed in his mind.
Why don't I remember this part in the original? Since when did Monster King Orochi want to slay GOD?
