Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Can Training Actually Succeed?

"Pah."

Silas spat out the straw he had been chewing on.

The flop-eared horse in the next stall moved restlessly, and the stench of manure in the stable grew stronger. He tossed in two handfuls of fodder to quiet it down.

He lay back down in the pile of hay, staring at the mottled roof of the stable, and absentmindedly patted the rump of the brown mare sleeping beside him.

"Fuck!"

After a long silence, he finally let out a curse.

I swear, this was supposed to be a normal simulation. Everyone was dying and reanimating as standard walking dead. At most, they got a bit stronger; he'd never seen anyone turn into a monster.

What the hell was with that nun?

Two perfectly good mounds... how could they transform like that?!

[You can use a charge to load a save to the current plot point, or restart the simulation.]

[Remaining charges: 4 (Refreshes 6 per day, or purchase one for 1000 silver coins)]

[Wealth: 0 Gold, 0 Silver, 121 Copper]

[Current Quest: The residents are becoming strange. Find clues!]

[Restart / Load Save?]

Silas opened his character panel to take a look.

[Player: Silas]

[Title: Scumbag (You have no conscience, but you act with extreme decisiveness)]

[Constitution: 6 + 1]

[Strength: 7]

[Agility: 7]

[Charisma: 3]

[Spirit: 8 + 2]

[Skills: None]

The two-point increase in Spirit was likely a result of facing whatever that thing was inside the nun.

The skill slot was still empty... did he have to complete the quest to get one?

The night was still deep.

Clop, clop.

Aside from the horse eating, there was no other sound in the stable.

He had four more chances.

If he restarted, his identity would likely change again.

But no matter what, he had to see the nun to trigger the subsequent events and find clues about the town's abnormality. Only then could he obtain a skill that seemed worth having.

"Hoo."

Silas took a deep breath.

He couldn't just stop playing because he was a little scared; morning was still far off.

[You chose to Load Save.]

[You reached the outskirts of the convent. There was no response to your knocking. Unable to restrain yourself, you climbed over the wall and listened through the back door of the confession room. The nun seemed to be talking to children.]

As Silas's consciousness submerged, the text box reappeared.

[The nun still seems normal. You decide...]

[Important Choice Triggered]

[Option 1: Leave immediately. Stop being distracted by women.]

[Option 2: Push the door open. You want that nun!]

Silas didn't rush to choose.

He suddenly thought of something else.

What if he left, didn't mess around, and just cautiously survived?

What if he waited for the nun to run into trouble and come out to seek his help?

[You choose to leave. You adopt an avoidance tactic regarding the nun.]

[Returning to the noblewoman's house, she has already become abnormal. She is a walking dead—no breath, but her body temperature isn't too cold. You fuck her when you're tired and practice swordsmanship when you're not.]

[You might now be able to win against an ordinary bandit.]

[...]

[Day 10: You encounter the woman who once killed you and herself together again. This time, you are prepared. You pre-made a ball gag and restraints to control her.]

[...]

[Day 30: You left the town. You found the nearby villages and the nearest city have also become strange. No living souls remain.]

[You find the mother and daughter you met before out in the wild. You originally had no interest in them, but you were too bored. You restrained them and experienced them again according to your desires.]

[...]

[Day 35: After searching for clues to no avail, you plan to return to town. You want to see if the nun has realized the town's situation or if she has left.]

[Night: You approach the convent.]

[You don't make contact, but you see a faint light in the dilapidated building, confirming they are still alive.]

[You abandon the idea of driving walking dead toward them to play the hero. You feel that's too risky. After returning, you pass the time by drawing lewd marks on the noblewoman's breasts while she wears a nun's habit.]

[...]

Silas wasn't sure if the nun knew the town was in trouble. If she bothered to observe from the second floor, she'd notice the lack of lights.

He could only confirm she hadn't come out. After all, her appearance would surely trigger a riot among the walking dead.

He really wanted to just go and ask, but unfortunately, Silas was averse to being physically crushed to death by her "chest-mouth."

He was in a stalemate.

Fine, let's wait it out.

Let's see who can stay shut in longer. He could find food and drink everywhere; the town was his home. The convent was not.

[Day 40.]

[You wake up surrounded by the breasts, full rumps, and thighs of the noblewoman and several other women. You continue to do as you please. You head out again.]

[You find blood everywhere. The walking dead that used to wander the town have vanished, replaced by scattered limbs and fragments.]

Huh?

[Terrified, you search for clues. Following the trail of increasingly fresh blood, you find the nun in a mansion, her back to you. She is barefoot, and her clothes are soaked in blood.]

[You see her holding the mangled body of a young girl—it's her sister. You suspect she is no longer sane. You decide...]

[Important Choice Triggered]

[Option 1: Ask the nun how she's been lately.]

[Option 2: Tell her she only has you to rely on now. If she becomes your plaything, you can resurrect her sister.]

Choices appeared in Silas's vision again.

And the content had changed completely.

Damn, every single one of these looked like a dead end.

[You chose Option 1.]

As he confirmed the choice, Silas regained physical sensation.

He could smell the overwhelming stench of blood.

"..."

Silas had no choice but to brace himself.

The nun remained in the pool of blood, motionless with her back to him. Silas felt his skin crawl; this was exactly like the beginning of a horror movie. One turn and it's a jump scare...

"Sister Rose."

Silas reached out and patted her shoulder, forcing himself to speak. "How... how have you been lately?"

"..."

As the nun slowly turned her head, Silas's heart jumped into his throat.

Shit.

I really shouldn't have picked Option 1. Who asks someone how they are when they know their sister just died? This is pure suicide!

Picking Option 2 and dying quickly might have been better.

"...What... are you saying?"

But her face hadn't turned into a monster's, nor had her mouth split open. It was just covered in filth and blood, with tears streaming down.

"..."

Silas saw what she was holding and choked.

It wasn't one person; it was two. The corpses of her two sisters were crushed together so hard they barely looked human.

Because of this, even though he could see a large portion of the nun's snow-white chest, he felt nothing... how can you feel anything when everything is covered in blood?

"Everyone in town has become so strange. Lady Osman... ugh... she broke in and took my sisters... Please, save Elena and Leah, please?"

Contrary to Silas's expectations, the nun grabbed his pant leg, weeping and begging.

It seemed she was treating Silas as her last hope.

"You... you are Mr. Silas, the merchant who travels everywhere. You must know medicine. You can save my sisters, right?!"

Inside the convent.

Silas's head was a mess. He had actually performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth on the two mangled little girls. But dead is dead; this game followed some logic, and they wouldn't wake up.

However.

"Thank you... Thank God, Elena is alive. Ugh."

The nun looked at the corpse of her sister in the confession room and wept with joy.

"No, actually..."

Silas really wanted to say they hadn't been saved.

"I'm so sorry! I was so arrogant, always calling you a scumbag in my heart. Ugh... I'm sorry."

"..."

Silas thought: Did you really have to say that part out loud?

"I'll do anything. A fallen nun, or your personal pet... I'm willing! Just please, save Leah too! Let her grow up healthy with her sister. I beg you..."

To achieve her goal, while Silas was performing CPR, the nun had washed herself and was now naked, crying and pleading. She was clearly weak. Her mind had undoubtedly snapped.

Silas was thinking.

Maybe Option 2—lying to her—was the way to survive. Telling her the truth now would almost certainly result in his death.

"..."

Silas stared at the line on her chest, proof that the area could split open. His gaze gradually drifted.

Gulp.

He couldn't help but swallow his saliva.

Silas really hadn't expected that beneath her habit, her nipples were the inverted type, recessed into the breast tissue.

Her clean body, bathed in the flickering warm glow of the convent candles, was beautiful. Because of her low sobbing, those heavy fruits were trembling.

Her sister's corpse was right there in the confession room, but with the door closed, it was out of sight.

"...Thank you."

When Silas finally placed his hand on the curve of her breast, the nun instead pressed his hand down firmly, her tears never stopping. "Leah... always said... she wanted to be a knight."

Even though he was still uneasy, Silas's physiological reaction responded to the kneading, and his "son" stood up.

"I will save Leah," Silas said, gritting his teeth. His heart was pounding as he watched the nun's tears of gratitude.

Is this really the right move?

Helping her deceive herself, going along with her pitiful delusions to enter a "training" route?

I have to do it! If I don't, the moment she snaps back to reality, she'll crush me to death with those breasts.

Ten minutes later.

Silas had already placed his throbbing member into the nun's deep, dark cleavage, where it was completely swallowed up. Just her pressing her arms together created immense pressure. It made Silas's "son," which hadn't been in the mood, stand even taller.

"Sister, can you hold your breasts like this?" Silas asked, getting bolder.

"Like this?"

With tear stains still on her cheeks, the nun squeezed her breasts together as Silas instructed.

"..."

Silas began to move. The valley became slicker and slicker.

"Plat."

Unable to hold back, he erupted directly onto the nun's smooth chin and the corners of her mouth.

"Elena... is she alive too?"

But the nun didn't even care. She just wiped her lip and looked at Silas expectantly.

"Ah, yes."

The filth Silas expelled had pooled around her neck and flowed down to her navel. That line indicating she would split open was still there, but now it was covered by Silas's seed, gradually becoming invisible.

"They were so badly hurt... Mr. Silas... you must have a way to make them healthy again, right?"

"...Yeah."

Silas kneaded her white, perky rump, spreading her legs to observe her pristine parts. It was a beautiful, petite pink "mantou."

What else could he do? He had to survive first before he could figure out how to make her face reality. At the very least, he had to find a way to drain her strength so he could tie her up.

However.

"I... I remember now."

The nun's hand suddenly clamped onto Silas's arm, and her body stopped trembling.

"Lady Osman broke in... she wanted to eat my sisters... I killed her."

"But after I killed her, I couldn't stop. I... I threw Elena away with my own hands. Her head hit the wall. Blood everywhere... Leah was so scared. I... I wanted to comfort her. I wanted to say... it wasn't me..."

"It wasn't me... how could I... kill my sisters?"

"..."

The line on her chest split open.

"Sister Rose, calm down and think. When I found you, you were already holding your sister's body."

Silas tried to save the situation one last time.

He knew it wouldn't be this easy to pass the level via a "training" route. This was the trap! Dammit!

"It was you... you killed my sisters! I don't care if you want to possess me, but why did you kill my sisters?!"

The nun's chest split open completely, her features twisting to the extreme. "Go to Hell... DIE!"
