After an intense session of caresses with Seraphina, Kaiser felt his entire body still vibrating from the desire he had been forced to contain.
His fingers retained the memory of her so soft skin, his lips that of her shivers. Yet when she gently placed her hand on his chest to signal a pause, he understood.
She wasn't ready to go further.
He could have insisted, of course. He could clearly feel her wavering, and a little more persuasion would have been enough to tip her into his bed. But what would be the point? Forcing her now would risk her waking up tomorrow with regrets, hating herself for that weakness and associating him, in turn, with that retrospective shame.
That would be quite annoying…
