Chapter 62 - Meeting with the Queens

The process of transferring Titan energy is extremely painful, while the process of instilling Titan power is quite easy and pleasant. Onyxia's calmness stands in stark contrast to Deathwing's screams; one stands leisurely while the other howls in anguish, making one wonder if instead they are doing inhumane torture!

"Your Majesty, was it this painful when you first accepted Titan power?" Arthas curiously asked the red dragon queen next to him, who was observing closely. He still had the task of gradually corrupting the Red Dragon Queen! At this moment, chatting more has its benefits, and besides, Alleria was also visiting this facility. With his orders, Alleria would not face any obstacles.

Alexstrasza shook her head, her rich red lips parting slightly, "No, the feeling back then was very comfortable."

"How did you become Lady Eonar's messenger?" The often half-asleep Ysera opened her eyes, using her keen observation to scrutinize the human prince before her, who bore too many secrets to have garnered a Titan's attention!

Arthas scratched the back of his head, not answering the question. He didn't want to say that he was a reincarnated person with a lustful system, he probably wouldn't even be believed, right?

"That's not important, more importantly though, I want to know about the Moon Goddess."

Ysera in her human form is quite similar to her sister Alexstrasza, but she appears more slender and less plump. There is a moon ornament on her forehead; she is indeed a follower of the Moon Goddess Elune. "You know of Elune? That's very interesting."

Elune is the Moon Goddess, but her faith has traditionally only spread among the night elves, and very few other races have turned to worship her. The night elves aren't especially eager to spread the faith of the Moon Goddess to other races; they seem to wish that she only favors their kind.

"I know a little. Elune is a good deity, and is very interesting. Do you two queens have any plans for the future?" Arthas changed the subject again, not wanting to them to go back to asking about the titaness. The fewer people who know about his secret with Eonar, the better. Talking to them is fine, but he wouldn't just give them his secrets.

"Hehe, you're just like what Nefarian said, not like a paladin at all." Ysera's words were very direct, her green-lipped red lips slightly curling with a hint of sarcasm.

"I am just a lustful and shameless person, and I am not hypocritical; I don't need to hide myself." Arthas could not deny this, but while he couldn't be called a true villain, he was not a saint, he had his own desires and dreams.

"Oh, you really are an amusing little prince." The red dragon queen smiled without any mocking in her tone.

"From now on, you may call me Alexstrasza; we can be friends, Titan's Messenger." After saying this, she giggled delightfully, that moment of mature charm was captivating.

"You may call me Ysera." Ysera followed up, "I tend to speak directly; I hope you can understand that it's not meant to insult." To say this to him was already giving him a lot of respect, due to him being Eonar's messenger, along with having resolved the threat of Deathwing. Otherwise, Ysera also had a habit of calling everyone mere mortals, saving the term 'warrior' for when someone has proven themselves. Those in high positions can look down on others.

"Arthas, do you have any plans moving forward? To eliminate the threat of the Old Gods?" Alexstrasza gently brushed her fiery long hair, her fingers playing with a strand.

"I don't have that intent for now; I need the strength to undertake such tasks. I will first eliminate the orc threat; I suspect there are traces of the Burning Legion behind this, agitating the orcs from the shadows. I've captured orc prisoners; their original skin was brown, but later turned green. In their world, they were incited by an orc warlock by the name of Gul'dan to drink demon blood. The demons all come from the Burning Legion; it is not hard to imagine that the Burning Legion isn't involved in this." Arthas shifted the topic to the Burning Legion and the protection of Azeroth, serious as if he were stating a fact.

This line of reasoning is not without merit; as long as there are suspicions, evidence is inconsequential. The big shots do not rely solely on information to make decisions; intelligence is part of it, but more important are intuition and judgment.

"Helping such weak being as the orcs? I don't see the point." Ysera looked skeptical; in her eyes, those orcs were indeed very weak.

"Even the weakest race, with a powerful artifact like the Dragon Soul, would pose a great threat to you, wouldn't it? Do not underestimate any opponent; guarding the world is not a one-person job. Every race that exists in this world has a duty and responsibility to fight against foreign invasions." Arthas was not a goody-two-shoes; if he fought, he wouldn't just let others watch from the sidelines while he worked himself to death.

That kind of lone heroism, even if it exists, would not be him. Speaking of the Dragon Soul, the red dragon queen Alexstrasza's expression became less friendly; if Arthas hadn't arrived early, she might have become a mere reproductive tool.

Of course, that means mating with her partner to lay eggs, not with orcs. However, even if she had not fallen into the role of a reproductive tool, she had already stepped into Arthas's carefully woven trap from the moment she accepted his essence of life.

"Hmph, it seems the orcs need to be completely eradicated!"

"There might be other ways, they are also victims of the Burning Legion." Arthas sensed the furious gaze of the red dragon queen and quickly continued.

"I'm not justifying them, but they truly are victims, with some strong ones among them. I will defeat them, reclaim them, making them the vanguard and cannon fodder against the Burning Legion. The enemy's enemy is our ally; we can use them to minimize casualties and achieve the greatest effect, which is what a leader should do."

The red dragon queen pondered for a moment, "I will let Korialstrasz assist you; you can do as you wish."
