I thought about Jim.
Was he already out or was he feeling the same as I did?
Jim was the one that saved me from starvation 2 years ago. We had a brother with brother relation. He mocked me, but he protected me. I hoped nothing more than his safety.
Then, a sort of sharp tooth appeared in my hand.
"Wooooo! We got our first item donation in the arena Y-10. A sharp object was given to one of the players… Somone got generous! "
I didn't understand. Why me ?
I thought for quite some time. I understood after a group of people started getting closer to me.
Oh, it's like thaaat. I killed a child and one of the spectators got mad and gave me an advantage because he knew I would get jumped.
Funny stuff. Real funny stuff. I'm sure he is laughing watching this. I'll show him some fun.
"Hey, are you the one with the weapon?", some dumbass said.
-"No, not at all. I just pulled out a tiger's tooth from my mouth. Don't worry it regrowed.", I said.
I then opened my mouth to taunt him.
"See? You can't even notice it"
The 13 minutes were finished. So I wanted to use my double-edged sword for a bit of good.
I rushed in and tackled him. I put the tooth on his neck and shouted that if anyone comes near me, I would kill him. I guess it got to the big group that was going my way because they all took a step backward. I also think the kid's cries were also affecting them.
"All of you go away, at least a 100 meters. ", I said confidently.
"Please go away! I don't wanna die!", he screamed after a bit of convincing.
Perfect revenge. It tasted sweet.
Okay, the kid's appearance is know top two of my happiest moments.
I waited and waited in my calm corner and scared everyone trying to get in it too. It was only me and the guy, waiting for the fighting that will happen when one of them realize that they had to take somebody out.
And it happened, sometimes our kind is so predictable. They then got so into surviving that they forgot about their friend Dave, me. I choked the guy out and got my third elimination. The tooth's donor was for sure filled with hate and it made me so happy.
A new scream was added to the losing participants area.
I got the same two notifications, but I also got one that told me that there was only one more left elim. left. I sat and waited until the third elim's cooldown ended. I got up and walked to the middle area of the arena. I felt kinda nonchalant with no one coming to me because of the small weapon.
"Again thank you anonymous donor.", I thought with a chuckle.
I got to the middle and saw everybody there stopping their fights to look at me. The closest guy was seconds away from running away. Luckily, his opponent noticed the distracted look and got him with a huge right handed swing. He landed in front of me. It's like they never learn. I finished the guy with a cool ass WWE jump strike. Just imagine it, me getting a guy unconscious by ending him with a cool ass shoulder cap hit with the help of gravity. That got me claps in the spectator audience.
I won.
Task for the [Practice Round]
1.Survive for an hour.
2. Kill or put unconscious a human in 15 minutes four times. (Completed)
Yeah so I just needed to wait ten minutes. But I got attacked by the people there. It was like we were playing tag with suffering happening in case of a loss. For some reason they hated me.
"Wowowo! Yo, attack each other!", I said while running at my max speed.
This continued until we were all gassed up. Most of them were injured and that saved me. It was still scary.
Last time I'll ask you for some imagination I swear, but imagine 8 zombies running at you with a bit of limping and jaw injuries. That was exactly my situation. I was sweating and felt like trash. The fact that I was so close to winning got my will pumped up.

I felt better. Like noticably better. It was easier breathing and that meant more chances of me not dying. I also got an adrenaline charge because who wouldn't if they would know they could progress that easily by running in life threatening situations. It doesn't sound easy, but at least possible. The 10 minutes passed.

Seeing this got me so happy that I started jumping with my arms in the air. After that, I saw the circles and stars beneath my feet. I got transported into the same alley on my cardboard mat. Jim was here too.
