Battler chapter 73
Battler: - Kingdom Of Battlers
Battler Season 3
The sun had barely risen over the Battle Kingdom, yet the kingdom's capital was already buzzing with rumors. Kenji's victory over Toki was still fresh in everyone's mind, and his name echoed through every street and marketplace. Merchants whispered it as they spoke of BC rewards, palace guards discussed it while training, and young Battlers stared at the horizon, imagining themselves facing the same "King of Death."
Yet not all eyes on Kenji were filled with admiration. In the shadows of the city, figures observed silently. Small groups of Eviler, Toki's remaining allies, communicated in hushed tones, their eyes glinting with malice and vengeance.
"He defeated Toki… alone," one muttered, anger and disbelief mixing in their voice. "He must be stopped before he grows any stronger."
Another whispered, "Prepare the ranks. We cannot let this human continue unchecked. The King of Death's fall was only the beginning."
Meanwhile, in the royal palace, Kenji and his team were briefed on security protocols. King Itsuki had summoned the royal council, Battler Organisation representatives, and even Yumi, who remained concerned yet determined.
"Kenji," the king said, his tone firm yet respectful, "your actions have saved many lives today. But the threat of Eviler does not end with Toki. Intelligence suggests there are factions still active—factions capable of devastation on an international scale."
Kenji nodded, eyes narrowing. "I understand, Your Majesty. I won't let them endanger this kingdom or anyone else."
Ryo cracked his knuckles, muttering under his breath, "So we're dealing with even more bad guys? Sounds like fun… as long as Kenji's leading."
Aiko glanced at him, her calm expression never changing. "Fun? I wouldn't call facing world-class Eviler 'fun.' We need strategy and caution."
Toya, ever the cheerful protector, grinned. "Strategy, schmrategy. We've got Kenji. I trust him."
Yumi, standing beside the king, felt a wave of admiration for Kenji wash over her. Her hands tightened slightly, and she whispered under her breath, "He's incredible… and I… I want to protect him too."
The council discussed measures to fortify the kingdom, anticipate attacks, and monitor any unusual activity from international Eviler networks. Kenji and his team were asked to participate in patrols and reconnaissance missions, giving them firsthand insight into the lingering dangers.
As Kenji prepared for the day, a subtle chill ran down his spine. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Glancing toward the horizon, his dark flame instincts flickered slightly—a warning of the shadows that crept ever closer.
In that moment, Kenji knew the battle wasn't over. Toki had fallen, yes—but his allies, the Eviler factions, and even unknown threats were already mobilizing.
And somewhere in the shadows, Yumi's heart ached. She wanted to warn him, guide him, and stay by his side—but she knew Kenji would face these dangers head-on, as he always had.
The sun rose higher, illuminating a kingdom in uneasy peace. But the wind carried whispers of revenge, of battles yet to come. The world had changed, and the shadows were moving…
Kenji tightened his fists, determination blazing in his eyes. Whatever came next, he would face it—and he would not fail
