Jay's POV
My heart was still racing when we stepped out of the fire exit room.
I could feel it — the warmth lingering on my lips, the slight shake in my hands, the way my mind refused to calm down. I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself before anyone could notice.
Keifer was right beside me.
Calm on the outside.
Completely unreadable.
I, on the other hand, was still shocked.
It was almost unfair how he acted like nothing had just happened.
The moment we stepped back into the hall, I suddenly felt a hand grab mine.
"Hey—"
Judy.
She dragged me straight into the bathroom before I could even react.
"Girl," she said, eyeing me from head to toe, "your lipstick is all over your face. Do you want the whole world to know you just made out?"
She said it teasingly, already fixing me up.
I groaned. "Oh my God."
She helped clean my face while I did a quick makeup touch-up, my heart finally slowing down.
After that, it was back to reality.
I talked to so many businessmen about business — obviously.
CEO duties.
After some time, I found Keifer again. He was still drinking, standing like he owned the place.
This boy…
I walked up to him, and the moment he saw me, his face instantly lit up — like a kid who'd just been handed candy.
"Keifer," I called.
"Huh?" He turned to me, smiling.
"What's wrong, baby?" he asked in a flirty tone.
I rolled my eyes. I am so tired of this boy… and his handsome face, i mean his.....
"Let's take pictures," I said.
"Okay!"
I called Judy over, and she took so many photos of us. Then I took a few selfies with him myself.
I was scrolling through the pictures, smiling…
And then I saw.....
