It was a horrible day for Li Heng. His once normal life was now a close yet distant dream, his accidental incident with his clubmate and the knowledge of an unknown being lay dormant in his head doesn't make it any better
He sighed as he began looking at the scenery outside of the taxi. Meanwhile the driver was emotionally listening to the latest news on the Chongqing university suicide case which Li Heng ignore hearing it.
After 15 minutes, the taxi stopped outside the apartment.
Li Heng stepped out and the taxi drove off.
Li Heng hesitated for a moment before stepping onto his house. His footsteps heavy as he walks up a step and when he walked to outside his doorstep. He heard arguing voices, not from his parents but rather from his friends.
He knocked on the door and the voices immediately silenced

The door opened, revealing his mother behind the door, tears soaking her red eyes, fearful expression and shaky hands. Immediately, she hugged him tightly as tears flow down her face
Li An: "Where have you been, Li Heng?!" She cried
Li Heng said nothing and hugged back for a few minutes until his parents quickly ushered him to the living room where he sees that his friends were sitting on the couch, all looking worried except for Ren Yen who was slightly hesitated before standing up
Yong Sheng/Chen Xian: "Li Heng, are you ok?!" He said loudly as they hugged Li Heng
Li Heng: "I'm fine…Thanks" He whispers before looking at Ren Yen with a confused expression
Li Heng: "What's going on…?" He asked before Ren Yen walked over and showing him a new article from his phone titled:
[Chongqing University Student-Li Heng Highly Suspect of Recent Suicide Case]- Chongqing university news club
Li Heng froze. He grabbed Ren Yen's phone for a closer look
Li Heng: "…According to Chongqing university Engineering Club Chairman-Yu Ting and..." He paused for a moment before continuing reading
Li Heng: "...Chen Xian?" He looked at her who avoided his gaze
Chen Xian: "I'm sorry…He just…Suddenly appear beside us"
Li Heng continued reading
Li Heng: "From the two arguing, we can interpret as Li Heng, a student from our university was last seen with deceased student- Li Cheng Xi at the storage room...…" He stopped reading and gave back Ren Yen's phone with shaky hands
Ren Yen: "Where were you then when it happened?...We tried calling you, we tried asking for people. Nothing, like you were gone from college"
Yong Sheng: "Ren Yen, stop. We don't know what happened in there"
Ren Yen: "Li Heng, Feng Yi is an opportunist. He won't let go of any valuable news for his own, if you didn't do it…You better said it fast"
All of them paused for a moment before his mother turns her head to Li Heng
Li An: "Son, please…Please tell me you didn't do it. Tell me…You didn't kill that student"
Li Heng: "I...…I didn't" He whispered while Ren Yen began slightly frustrated
Ren Yen: "Li Heng, as your friend. I really, really hope you're right in this one..."
He said before packing up his things, bowed politely to Li Heng's parents and left
Yong Sheng: "Don't worry, he'll be back soon enough. We'll be right beside you…Always"
He patted Li Heng's shoulders before leaving with Chen Xian who bows apologetically to Li Heng's parents
After they left, the house felt quieter than usual. Li Heng slowly walks to his room, his mother tried to follow but his father gently stopped her, placing his hands on her shoulders
Wu Shao Ning: "Let him rest, he's been through a lot lately"
Li An: "Shao Ning…I'm scared for our future" She whispered with tears
Wu Shao Ning: "We'll make it through…All of us" He said while hugging her tightly
Meanwhile Li Heng listened all of it from his door, he later collapsed onto his bed, tears going down his face as he covered himself in pillows and the blanket
Li Heng: "Please…I beg you, help me…Help me please…" He repeatedly muttering to himself until exhaustion drag him to sleep
