As you read in the previous chapter, Reaper was about to assign Rohan a mission.
Today, we finally see what that mission is.
Rohan and his team were seated inside the office, waiting for Reaper to arrive.
An unsettling tension filled the room—as if even the air had paused, holding its breath.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Reaper walked in.
What happened next was something no one had expected.
Reaper walked straight up to Rohan and knelt before him, gripping his hand tightly.
For the first time ever, tears streamed down his eyes.
"I am sorry… for what happened to you."
Everyone in the room froze.
They had never seen their leader in such a state.
Rohan's fists clenched tightly.
The veins on his arms stood out.
He was about to say something—
But Reaper interrupted him.
"Do not worry.
Those who did this will be punished.
And that punishment… you will deliver with your own hands.
We have found out who they are and where they are right now."
Hearing this, Rohan's eyes turned bloodshot.
It felt as if he could burn someone to ashes just by staring at them.
"Leader… tell me.
Where are they right now?"
Reaper paused for a moment.
"Before that, there is one condition.
You will go on this mission alone."
"I accept."
Rohan answered without hesitation.
Reaper stood up.
"This is your personal vendetta.
We have nothing to do with it.
You will handle this on your own."
"Leader, but—" Hebi tried to speak.
"This is an order!"
Reaper's voice echoed through the room.
Silence swallowed everything.
No one dared to move.
"You will have to go to Kashmir, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Amritsar.
Terrorists are hiding in these four locations.
I've sent you their coordinates."
Rohan suddenly shouted—
"Leader… these are not the ones who did that to my family."
Reaper stiffened.
"What do you mean?"
(Reaper had not yet received the hospital report.)
Tears streamed down Rohan's face.
Words abandoned him.
At that moment, Hebi stepped forward and handed Reaper the post-mortem report.
Reaper went completely still.
After reading it, he spoke in a low voice—
"Just as I told you… leaders from major terrorist organizations were present there.
They committed those crimes first…
and then carried out the college bombing."
Rohan's fists tightened even more.
His shoulders were trembling—
not from fear,
but from the beast awakening within him.
He slowly raised his head.
His eyes burned with fire.
His jaw clenched hard.
No scream.
No tears.
Only a silent, uncontrollable hatred.
Then his voice emerged—
broken… yet deadly.
"I will kill all of them."
This was not revenge.
This was not anger.
This was a vow.
The sky above remained eerily silent.
But somewhere far away…
those responsible for everything felt it—
as if death itself had raised its head…
and chosen them.
Everyone stood silently, staring at Rohan.
After a while, Rohan spoke—
"I will perform my family's last rites.
After that, I will leave for the mission."
Reaper replied softly,
"Yes. Today, we stand with you."
Helicopter port.
Hospital.
Final rites.
After everything was completed, Rohan began preparing for his mission.
That was when Hebi and Titan approached him.
"You are younger than all of us," Hebi said.
"This is your first time going alone on a mission like this…
take care of yourself.
And make sure you return alive."
Rohan looked down and replied quietly—
"Forgive me.
Whether I return alive or not…
I will not let them live."
And with that, Chapter 4 ends.
Now, there is only one question—
Where will Rohan take his first step?
Kashmir?
Gujarat?
Rajasthan?
Or Amritsar?
One thing is certain…
wherever he goes,
he will not find humans—
only monsters.
