Nora's POV
"Let me take her while you clean up," Antonia suggests, entering the living room with one of those delicate teacups from the antique shop I bought at Vivian Hill. She's drinking blood from it, and the sight reminds me that Mrs. Cato's store has been shuttered for weeks now, ever since demons killed her during Leonard's assault.
"I already washed up yesterday," I respond.
"Right. Yesterday." Antonia wrinkles her nose disapprovingly.
"It's not like I smell bad," I protest, though I can't actually recall if I remembered to put on deodorant after my shower. "But once I finish my coffee, I want to get myself more presentable before we leave."
"Where exactly are you planning to go?"
"The Shadowhaven. Since classes don't begin until morning, Gideon might have time to assist me with the oracle. I don't know how long this will take, so I'm bringing Renata along."
"Are you certain it's safe?"
