I stare directly at Charlette, certain I caught every word she just spoke, yet somehow still lost in confusion. "Right now, sending a demon back to Hell isn't exactly an option for me. And unless someone figured out how to charter a boat across the Selene Styx, performing an exorcism would just release that demon into our world. That strikes me as incredibly reckless, don't you think?"
"We won't be releasing it anywhere," Charlette responds, her lips curving into a knowing smile. "Actually, your friend Reina sparked this entire idea. She made us realize something important. If trapping a spirit inside a box works, then why wouldn't trapping a demon inside something far more durable than human flesh be possible?"
"I'm not understanding this completely. Wait, hold on. You mentioned Katherine and the twins would be joining us for this meeting. Please tell me they're not planning to show up here."
