Kaito moved cautiously, as he carried on walking without knowing where he was going. The main goal was to eliminate five Corrupted Core spirits exactly how the system ordered.
"There has to be one out here, there has to be."
He moved carefully, crounching to avoid being spotted.
Around the area he was currently on was littered with bones.That alone make him nervous knowing he would be part of the bones collection. He swallowed and picked up one of the bone fragments, it had two sharp jagged points at end and a smooth edge.
"Its better than nothing." he said nervously.
Up ahead he finally saw something .
His first corrupted core spirit.
It's body resembled a boar and a lion. One of it's arms was longer than the other, it had two faces in one head. Even thou the corrupted land was dark one could tell it's flesh was grayish in color. It's mouth hung open, revealing rows of sharp yellow teeth, saliva dripping on to the ground below.

It's snoring.
That would mean its sleeping.
Kaito swallowed then slowly smiled.
"Opportunity," he said, the bone fragment he picked up was shaking along with his hand. "This is my chance."
He scanned the surroundings making sure he isn't seen.
"All I have to do is kill it, that should be easy." he gave a light nervous laugh right after.
He crept forward, avoiding to make any disturbing noise that might wake the creature up.
The creature snorted in it's sleep.

Kaito froze as it made the sound.
He stood there for a while waiting to see if anything will happen.
CRRKK
This time it released a slow and small paced sound.
"Thank God it's asleep, if that thing wakes up am history."
He took another silent step.
CRACK!!
Regrettably the silence was broke by something.He looked down to see a bone half cracked beneath his feet.
The Corrupted Core Spirits purple eyes snapped open fixed on him like it knew he was coming.

Silence stood between them for a while, not until one of them made move.

Followed with a terrifying roar, it immediately stood up as dust fell from it.
"SH-!" Kaito spun and ran aimlessly with no clue where he is running to.
THUD-THUD-THUD-
He could hear the sound of rumbling following him knowing it's running after him.
"Why-!" he sobbed.
Pain exploded across his back as something gazed him, claws riping through his skin.
"Gah-!"
He stumbled,barely catching himself before crashing to the cold surface,he rolled clumsily behind a cluster of rocks, pressing his back against the wall, breathing heavily, hands shaking as he clamped them over his mouth.He dragged himself forward, attempting to rise and immediately regretted it that moment.
"Damn it-!!"
His vision once again threated to blur, black creeping at the edges. "I can't pass out, not now"
GRRRRR!
The creature growled , sending shivers around Kaito's body as he squeezed his eyes to shut.
As the creatures footsteps sounded close , he knew it would find it him any moment, running was the only choice left.
He peaked once, then gave it all his best ignoring the pain, running always was the best solution to avoid his problems. From the moment things got hard, he always found somewhere to hide. Behind silence, excuses and people kind enough to stand up for him.
Haruka's face intruded between him and his vision.
Standing between him and the things that made him uncomfortable.Bullies, enemies and danger.
He clenched his hands turning them into fist.
That's when he realized running never changed a thing.It always made it worse.
"No," he pulled back.
The creature turned, snarling as it faced him, saliva dripping from it's mouth.

Kaito's legs shaking violently, but he refused to back away.
It charged forward with it's mouth open, revealing sharp teeth strong enough to cut him in pieces. When it was around a few meters away from Kaito. He dash forward without thinking though.

The Corrupted Core Spirit raised it's hand slamming Kaito into the ground below.
"Keok!"
He could hear the sounds of his left arm bones breaking.
"Euh..... Euh, euh....."
He bounced on the ground once the up again like a bouncing football, when he was about to hit the groung again.The Corrupted Core Spirit brutality slammed into him with it's shoulder , sending him to roll helplessly.
"Gah-!" he coughed, splattering blood onto the soil.
The creature loomed over him, lifting its massive arm.
WHRRRSH!!
Kaito rolled away just in time as the claws tear into the ground.
"Hey, it's too early for me to die, no in place like this, don't you think so?!."
He stood upwards facing the creature head on.

Both him and the creature lunged forward, driving the bone fragment.
"I am leaving this place.....alive!!".

Stab!
The creature shrieked.

It swung wildly, catching Kaito across the chest, sending him tumbling again until he slammed into a stone.
"I-told-you-I-am-not-dying-in-this-sh*t-hole!"he gasped, forcing himself up despite the pain.

"Ah!, finally you are getting serious bring it on."
However, all kinds of thoughts still swirled in Kaito's head.
Who will survive, him or it.
One of the creature's legs stepped backwards, it changed it's stance, knowing what's about to happen.
Kaito held the bone with proper care and waited without blinking.
Just as the creature lunged, Kaito concentrated hard, being able to decipher. He swiftly sidestepped and lifted the bone connecting it against it's body.
Stab.
Splash!
Blood flooded the floor.
It was purple and way to light to be human blood.
SHRREEK!
The Corrupted Core Spirit fell down right after yelping helpless.
The bone fragment Kaito has been holding this whole time is now dripping with purple blood.
