As the Emperor opened his eyes, He saw the Sun and Moon cycle like pendulum.
The unforgettable scene of a snowy mountain came to his view. Blood red fruits like cherry and the land covered in white snow and red marks.
"Keep going, Slave! What do you think you are doing?" A man shouted at him.
The emperor looked at him with a blank, confused expression. His mind instantly finding a possibility, but that was way too absurd to be true.
He have gone back to the past.
But How? The great river of time didn't possess the capability to send someone to the past, at least to no one's knowledge. Even if it did, he wasn't even in the river of time, so how?
"What happened captain?" A familiar voice asked.
The emperor's eyes widened as the familiar voice, the very-much harsher- sound he heard before his death.
His smile widened, no, not just widened, a sinister smile like that of a shinigami appeared sending the person in front of him to chills.
A mad, a freaking mad excitement filled his entire being as the desire to kill everyone in this caravan took over his 'will'.
Before long, His body moved, pulling the chains in his hand so hard that the person in front fell back, following him, the long row of slaves tied to the chains began to fall behind.
Soon enough, The emperor moved his hand and unsheathed the sword on the nearby captain's scabbard.
The knight's were momentarily shocked by his sudden actions, when they became aware, it was already too late.
They looked with shock as their captains head fell to the ground and slid down the mountain.
The horse's body the captain was riding also fell as it's head was also decapitated.
Blood filled the body of the young slave as the mad and scary smile send child running down the knight's spines.
The formerly weak slave now looked at them with a chilling murderous intent. Their survival Instinct took over as they quickly prepared to defend themselves.
But as anyone would expect, the former tyrant knows no mercy. before they could pull their swords out, they lost their balance as the horses fell down and let out a painful cry.
Behind them all, Auro looked at the chilling scene of his comrade's dying one by one as they desperately tried to get steady and pick up their weapons.
One by one, all of their heads were rolling on the ground. The weak slave was raided from the Temple of Shadow, but this was the first time Auro is facing the Fear of Death.

As the strange voices were ignored by the mad emperor, he killed anyone in sight.
One by one, every single slave died as their eyes held the eyes of fear and dread. They were helpless against the former emperor of shadows.
And at last, only one soldier was left, Auro of the Nine!
Alone, all alone, among the lifeless and decapitated bodies and pool of crimson blood. Auro quickly snapped and took out his weapon.
He stood up and pointed his sword to the mad fiend who finally looked at his last prey.
While covered in the blood of his victims, he rushed at him with a crazed and excited expression.
As their blades clashed, the mad fiend growled with mad fury and excitement.
"Ah! I've longed to experience this for most of my life!"
Auro quickly pushed him back and backed away.
He understood very well that he was the stronger one here. But the madness, no, not just madness, it was the style and proficiency of his moves.
He might be the stronger party here, but the mad fiend is un-arguably the more experienced one. His movements, steps, every single muscle moved as if he had full control over them.
"A thousand years...a fucking thousand years i've bore the intense hatred for you!"
Auro was confused, what was this mad killer saying nonsense all of sudden.
"You took my peace, you were the beginning of my sufferings, you took the person most precious to me, the person who gave me a meaning to live on."
The mad fiend looked him in the eye and muttered with hateful glee, "Today I'll kill you!"
He looked at the evening sky as he said, "The difference of power between a Supreme and a Sacred is like Heaven and Earth."
He then spread his arms while still holding the sword as if to embrace the world, "But the difference between a Mundane and an Awakened is like a Dog and a Lion."
Auro's eyes trembles as a bad premonition rose in his heart. Fear, yes, it was fear, not the fear of death, not the fear of this mad killer, but the fear of what the fiend just said.
Looking at him with a crazy laugh, "AND WHO THE FUCK SAID A DOG CAN'T KILL A LION!!!!"

Saying so, the mad fiend rushed at him, Auro found the realization to absurd to be true as his mind began to wonder as the mad fiend closed in.
His eyes now held a resolve, he have to capture this fiend and take him to Alethia. Only she can confirm if his speculations were true or not.
But no matter what resolve he made, he found it very hard to fight against this fiend. It felt like he was fighting an Awakened Tyrant, no, not just awakened, it felt like a Fallen Tyrant.
The same helplessness, the same despair and the same feeling of unable to counter the opponent. The difference wasn't strength, and that was the scariest part.
Suddenly, the world tilted.
'huh?' the last scene his mind registered were the mad fiend looking at him, or, his head with a satisfied smile.
As the satisfaction filled his heart, the mad tyrant, finally gaining some clarity, said to the decapitated body of his long lasting, soul wrenching enemy,
"You think too much Auro, as a result, you hesitate too much. Which is now the only reason you can't fulfill your Fate."
He looked at the sky again as the blood soaked blade fell from his grasp. "I avenged you my lo-"
