Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 Wang Dong'er

"Begin!" The electronic voice rang out again.

From that moment on, the girl opposite moved as well. Three spirit rings—yellow, bright purple, and yellow—appeared beneath her, and a pair of blue butterfly wings instantly unfurled. The colors at the tips of her forewings constantly shifted from deep blue to azure to light blue, making the entire wing surface resemble a string of bright halos inlaid in the blue sky, forming a V-shape, bringing light to the world. Its shape and color were incomparably and flawlessly beautiful.

Lin Xiuran's eyes narrowed slightly; he realized who the girl opposite him was. Tang San's daughter, Tang Wulin's older sister, Tang Wutong!

Of course, this might just be Wang Dong'er now.

But Lin Xiuran had no time to consider whether she was Wang Dong'er or Tang Wutong; her merciless attack had already arrived.

Her wings flapped, carrying a hint of light, slicing a sharp line across the sky before slashing towards Lin Xiuran.

Lin Xiuran's mental strength was powerful, and his reaction was quick. He used wind elements to accelerate himself, retreating directly backward.

The girl's attack missed, but she didn't stop. Soul power flowed into her wings, golden light shimmering, the V-shaped pattern particularly dazzling, before she charged towards Lin Xiuran again at high speed.

In an instant, she was close to him once more; even with his wind element fully utilized, he couldn't shake her off.

Just as he was about to be attacked, Lin Xiuran turned sharply, red light flashing in his eyes, and opened his hand to strike.

But his opponent seemed to have anticipated this move; her butterfly wings flapped instantly, the wind carrying soul power extinguishing the flames he was about to ignite, preventing the fire element from coalescing.

The girl smiled, seemingly smug, but to Lin Xiuran, it was nothing short of horrifying.

These were all virtual characters; how could they possibly display such a human-like smile when attacking according to their established settings? Moreover, Lin Xiuran felt there was something hidden in her eyes.

But he had no time to think further. A green spirit ring rose beneath Lin Xiuran, and wind elements rapidly gathered in front of him.

His gaze sharpened, and with a gentle wave of his hands, the gathered wind elements instantly began to spin rapidly, slowly forming a tornado.

This tornado was incredibly powerful, at least two meters high, its might extraordinary; even Lin Xiuran himself felt momentarily unsteady.

Yet, the girl opposite him remained calm, hovering in mid-air. Her third purple spirit ring slowly rose. Her wings suddenly shone with golden light, spirit power continuously gathering upwards, swirling around them in golden orbs.

Then, with a sudden flap of her wings, two offensive light blades converged, slashing towards the tornado in a cross shape.

Almost effortlessly, the tornado was instantly sliced apart, the elements instantly becoming unstable and disintegrating.

The next second, the girl was already in front of Lin Xiuran, her delicate white hand striking out before he could react.

  "Slap!"

Lin Xiuran was instantly stunned. This attack carried no soul power, yet it was extremely insulting. The seemingly beautiful and kind girl had slapped him.

However, Lin Xiuran remained rational and didn't get angry, because the girl's behavior was too strange. Logically, her program should have been designed to defeat him at all costs.

If she had used her full strength, he would have had no chance and would have been subdued immediately, but she had slapped him without warning.

Although the slap landed, the girl hadn't added any soul power. Moreover, the force was very light, leaving not even a red mark. It's less like the other person was hitting him and more like they were rubbing his face.

After calming himself down and clearing his mind of the random thoughts, Lin Xiuran became serious.

"Stop overthinking," he thought, "the other party is probably just a character created by a mistake."

Lin Xiuran didn't dare to slack off any longer; the other party had given him an opportunity, and he certainly couldn't miss it.

He stretched out both hands, each representing a different element, and slowly merged them into one.

As Lin Xiuran's palms came together, a powerful elemental aura seemed to instantly condense.

The next moment, Lin Xiuran stomped on the ground, launching himself forward and throwing the wind and fire elemental ball from the optimal position in mid-air.

The wind and fire elemental ball spun continuously in mid-air, gradually forming a spinning top. The wind and fire elemental top flew towards the girl at an extremely fast speed, and its speed continued to increase.

The girl didn't choose to dodge, but simply stood in mid-air, not using any more soul skills.

However, just as the ice and fire spinning top was about to collide with her, an even more powerful force emanated from her.

Lin Xiuran only sensed the heavy aura but didn't see what the girl did. Furthermore, the chaotic wind and fire elements after the Wind-Fire Spinning Top exploded directly affected his vision. Only

after the aftershocks completely dissipated did Lin Xiuran see the situation clearly, causing his pupils to widen suddenly.

The girl appeared completely unaffected, standing high above like a true goddess. Her delicate arms held a massive hammer.

It was a jet-black hammer with a handle about half a foot long and a cylindrical head, resembling a miniature forging hammer. A faint pattern coiled around the black surface of the hammerhead, emitting a peculiar glow.

Lin Xiuran's expression darkened, and he said in a deep voice, "The Clear Sky Hammer!"

Without a doubt, the girl's second spirit ring was the Clear Sky Hammer, once the number one weapon spirit on the continent.

"No wonder she has such power."

Lin Xiuran had forgotten about this; he just hadn't expected his Wind-Fire Spinning Top to be so easily dealt with by her.

This time, however, the girl gave him no chance, instantly attacking Lin Xiuran with her Haotian Hammer, which seemed unaffected by any force as it pounded towards him.

Lin Xiuran naturally dared not meet it head-on, and immediately dodged backward. But no matter how fast the wind element was, it couldn't escape the wrath of the giant hammer.

Ultimately, the girl's soul power was going to overwhelm Lin Xiuran, and after several exchanges, the giant hammer was about to smash down on him directly.
