Chapter 3 - BACK TO THE ORIGIN - LAST PART

The entity was there.

Standing on the side of the road, completely motionless, as if it had always been there. It made no sound. No breath. No movement. Yet I could feel its gaze fixed on me, heavy and suffocating.

It was staring at me.

My mind refused to process what my eyes were seeing. My throat tightened, and before I could stop myself, the words burst out.

— Oh fuck! What the hell is that?!

The driver flinched at my shout.

— What is it, sir? he asked, glancing at me.

My hand trembled as I pointed straight ahead.

— You… you don't see it?

He followed my finger. At first, confused. Then his face froze.

His eyes widened. His lips parted.

— Oh shit…

His voice was broken, stripped of any calm. His hands clenched the steering wheel so hard I thought it would snap.

The taxi slowed down, nearly stopping.

The entity had not moved.

Then, without warning, the driver collapsed against his seat. His head fell back sharply. His eyes opened wide… but something was wrong.

There were no pupils.

No black.

Only white.

— Sir?!

No answer.

Pure panic surged through me. My heart pounded violently as I began to pray without realizing it, my words tangled and desperate.

I couldn't stay there.

I threw the door open and stumbled out of the taxi. The night air hit my face. I started running.

Running.

Faster.

I wasn't thinking anymore. My legs

moved on instinct alone.

I have to get away.

But something felt wrong.

I'm running… right?

Why was the car still the same distance behind me? Why wasn't the scenery changing? No matter how hard I tried, it felt like I wasn't moving at all.

This isn't working…

My breathing grew ragged. Fear tightened its grip.

And suddenly, without understanding how, I was face to face with it.

The entity stood before me.

Too close.

I froze. Slowly, unnaturally, it turned its head toward me. Its eyes locked onto mine.

It opened its mouth.

It spoke.

The sounds were not human. Not a language I recognized. It felt as if the words were reversed, twisted, spoken backward. Each sound echoed directly inside my head.

A sharp pain exploded in my skull.

I screamed.

My ears burned. Warm liquid ran down my neck. I dropped to my knees, unable to endure the sound.

I prayed again. Confused. Desperate.

The entity reached out.

When it touched me, unbearable pain shot through my body. I felt something trying to invade me. To weaken me. To take control.

These beings were not made of flesh and blood. They sought an anchor. A body. A connection to the physical world.

And that body… was mine.

But the moment it tried to go further,

everything changed.

The entity froze.

A violent reaction surged through me, like a force pushing back. Something inside me had stopped it. Something it hadn't expected.

Fear crossed its face.

Real fear.

It recoiled.

Then it fled.

I don't know how or where it went. My body gave out. My legs collapsed beneath me, and I hit the asphalt hard.

Then everything went black.
