Shua—!
The domain expanded rapidly with Kael at its center, surging outward to swallow every enemy in the vicinity.
From the outside, it looked like a massive black orb had suddenly materialized in the heart of the Worth Woodsea.
"What is that?!"
Racer, who was searching for Nirvana, froze for a moment at the sight of the black orb before quickly rushing toward it.
Inside the domain, Zatô and his men were completely paralyzed.
"What's happening... I can't see anything... I can't feel anything... No! I can see everything! I feel everything! Information is flooding into me without end!! I can't do anything!"
Wendy and Carla watched in confusion as the crowd stood rooted to the spot, unable to understand what was going on.
"What happened to them? Where are we?"
Carla asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
"We are within the Limitless, inside my domain. I just force-fed them a year's worth of information. It short-circuited their minds and paralyzed them."
Shua!
Kael deactivated the domain. Maintaining a Domain Expansion was a huge drain on magic power; for these pieces of trash, a single second was more than enough.
"Wendy, Carla. The next part might be a bit bloody and unpleasant to watch. Close your eyes, cover your ears, count to ten, and then open them."
Wendy nodded obediently, crouching down and squeezing her eyes shut. "Do I start now, Kael?"
"Go ahead!"
Wendy covered her ears and began to count. "1... 2..."
Shua!
Kael's body blurred as he lunged into the crowd. His hands and feet became a whirlwind of afterimages as he tore through them.
Crack! Snap!
The crisp sound of bones snapping echoed through the clearing, punctuated by heavy, wet thuds.
"...8... 9... 10!"
Wendy opened her eyes to see Kael, still in his Gojo form, standing before her with a gentle smile. The army that had surrounded them was gone.
"Huh? Where did everyone go?"
"Those guys? I beat them all so hard they ran away!"
Wendy clapped her hands happily. "Wow! Kael is so strong! You chased away that many people all by yourself! Right, Carla?"
Carla's face was deathly pale. She managed a stiff, forced smile. "Yeah... yeah, he did."
She hadn't been able to suppress her curiosity and had peeked. She had witnessed the scene of Kael utterly slaughtering those men. In an instant—a mere heartbeat—she hadn't even seen what happened before Kael had broken them all. Based on the injuries she'd glimpsed, those men were dead or crippled. The probability of them being killed outright was extremely high.
Just then, a figure appeared on a thick tree branch. He wore a racing suit and sported a tall mohawk.
"It's him!"
"Oracion Seis!!"
Wendy and Carla immediately recognized the newcomer. Racer, a member of the Oracion Seis. In the previous skirmish, he had single-handedly taken down several members of the allied forces before Kael had sent him flying.
"You again!"
Racer's expression tightened at the sight of Kael. He had already received intelligence from Gemini and knew this man was a terrifying monster.
However, the more powerful the monster, the more he wanted to challenge them. Besides, he wanted to settle the score for the blow he'd taken earlier.
"My name is Racer. It means I outrun anyone, outrun anything."
"Sorry, I have zero interest in remembering the names of men."
Kael waved him off dismissively.
A cold sneer twisted Racer's face. "I'm telling you so you'll know exactly who killed you."
As he spoke, Racer's body began to circle Kael.
"See this? This speed—can you even keep up? Speed is power!"
Wendy and Carla's vision blurred. Racer's silhouette was here one moment and there the next, moving like he was teleporting. They couldn't track his movements at all. How could anyone fight this?
But in Kael's eyes, the scene was entirely different. Racer was running back and forth around him. He wasn't exactly slow, but he wasn't particularly fast either. The worst part was how he kept stopping to cross his arms and act tough while talking. The second-hand embarrassment made Kael's skin crawl.
"Are you... a clown?"
"What did you say?! Die!!"
Racer's face contorted with rage. He lunged at Kael's back, driving a punch toward the back of his head.
Kael didn't even turn around. As Racer's fist approached the back of his head, it suddenly stalled, eventually coming to a complete halt just inches from the target.
Kael swiftly lashed out with a back kick, burying his foot in Racer's stomach.
"Gwahhh!"
Racer let out a strangled scream as his body was sent hurtling backward.
"Seriously, you didn't learn a single thing from our last fight. Wendy, Carla, stay here. I'm going to finish him."
Kael walked toward Racer with his hands in his pockets.
Racer scrambled to his feet, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth. He stared at Kael in disbelief. "Impossible! Why can you see my attacks?!"
"Hmm? It seems you still don't understand me. My eyes are the Six Eyes; I have a 360-degree field of vision. My technique is the Limitless. You can think of it as an invisible defense field that stays active twenty-four hours a day. The closer you get, the slower you become."
"What?!"
Racer was stunned. "How can such absurd magic exist?! Doesn't that make you invincible?!"
"Not quite. If the magic is strong enough, it can break through. It's just that you aren't that person."
Racer's expression became predatory. "Don't look down on me!!"
He was one of the Oracion Seis. He had never been so thoroughly disrespected.
Racer raised his arms and shouted, "Dead Grand Prix!! Opening ceremony!!"
As he spoke, a massive fleet of motorcycles was summoned, their engines roaring as they charged toward Kael.
Kael raised his left hand.
"Magic Technique Lapse: Blue!"
A sphere of azure magic manifested in Kael's palm, radiating an intense gravitational pull.
The motorcycles Racer had summoned were violently wrenched toward the blue orb.
Crrr-ack!
The bikes were instantly crushed and shredded into scrap metal.
The surrounding trees were gouged out where the singularity touched them.
"Dammit!"
Racer dodged frantically. This monster wasn't just terrifyingly defensive—his destructive power was off the charts.
Just as he dodged, Kael's silhouette appeared directly in front of him.
"Crap!!"
Racer's face paled.
Kael drove a kick toward him. Racer desperately crossed his arms to block the impact.
BOOM!
"Aghhh!"
Racer felt like he'd been slammed by a heavy wrecking ball. He was sent flying once again.
Kael raised his palm, a tiny bead of crimson magic condensing at his fingertips.
"Magic Technique Reversal: Red!"
