I started running at my full pace it was an 200m dash race. Many of them have great agility but because of my stats I keep up with them very well and reached my first lap. Now some obstacle will come, we have to jump up or dodge it or else we'll fall on the ground.
I jumped but almost tripped. "Looks like, the weakest of our school has started showing how weak he is" just as usual small mistake and insult. I forget to lower my speed and ran past everyone. The last lap begin. In this lap we have to make a surfboard with any magic type cause this race was only for mage.
The board should hover above the ground and who reach first without falling of the board will win. I made an ice board. I used the ice breeze to maintain my speed. I was in the second position but I used my full mana to accelerate and reach the end.
"IT'S UNBELIEVABLE, THE WINNER IS...ARATA SHIBA!" Every eyes were on me, "This is how, it feels to be acknowledge!" After that, It was time for the cooking round of Ayase. The announcer said"Girls! Pick your partner, whom you want to taste your food!" three girls came at me, before I could even talk to them. Ayase pulled me to her side!
"I choose, Arata. My boyfriend!" Every girl was given the task to bake a cake for your partner. First the partner will rate and then Mr Shinshui. Ayase baked an chocolate cake. I tasted it. "Its actually delicious. You are a great cook Ayase!" Mr Nakamura liked it too and gave Ayase the winner badge. Something was off, he was looking at me all the time.
Next up was the throwing challenge in which, Taiju couldn't take part he was an already an S ranker. After everything it was the time of sparring with mr Nakamura Shinshui. I sat their, cause as per the school says, the strongest of the school fight beside my level is not capable to fight him.
The prodigy of our school Ayato Amagiri. He stand up to go to the sparing arena but....Mr Nakamura stopped him. "I don't have any interest in fighting someone strong. I know you are strong and capable but someone else caught my eye" he was staring at me.
"You there, kid!" he point his finger towards me. "Arata Shiba, right?" he looked at me. "Yes sir?" he chuckled.."I Wanna spar with you. Come to the arena" Everyone was shock. "Did Mr Nakamura just called Arata instead of Ayato!"
Everyone was startled like they have seen some type of ghost or something! "Coming sir!" I took my staff and went to the arena. I prepared for what will happen now because, this will decide where I am at my current state and the stats I have.
