"Yes, you, Cathy. What do you think about Sir Arthur?" Evie said, staring at the nervous Cathy before her. "I mean, I never thought about that, and also I don't think he will like me. And what about you? I can't get married leaving you here alone," Cathy said, her face red.
"Cathy, look at me," Evie said, and Cathy raised her head, looking at her. "Breathe," Evie whispered, breathing in and out as if to demonstrate to Cathy how to breathe. Cathy followed, breathing in; she coughed as air she didn't even think she was holding rushed into her lungs.
"Don't overthink, Cathy. Arthur is the grand chamberlain; he will mostly be given a residence next to the palace. We will be neighbors, and you can be with me till you have children of your own. And how dare he not like you? So don't worry, okay? Leave this to me, and we will take this step by step," Evie said as Cathy blushed red.
