Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 Blind date

"Natalie, I came to see you."

Hearing Zoe's loud voice from downstairs, Natalie was lying on the bed, sighing.

"Natalie, I finally understand the feeling of not seeing each other for a day, like three autumns."

Natalie only felt a dark shadow pass in front of her, and Zoe hugged her.

Previously, Natalie didn't feel that Zoe had been back to New York for many years, but now that she was back, if she didn't see her for a day, she would miss her very much. Um, wait a minute...

Natalie looked at the girl on her body and said, "If you don't get up, I'll be crushed by you."

Zoe hurriedly sat up: "Am I getting fat again?"

Natalie's head was full of black streaks.

She didn't participate in the negotiations with Logan, but she knew that everything had been resolved after reading the documents her brother sent yesterday.

If Logan wanted to adopt a new transportation method, he had to use a new type of equipment developed by Brooks Group. This was also proof of Brooks Group's invention, and the only one with mature and complete technology.

Samuel wanted to fight, but he was helpless.

In her heart, she once again lamented how her brother had calculated strategies and precautions, but she was also very happy about it.

"What are you going to do?" Looking at Zoe's expression, she knew she had come here for something.

When Zoe heard her question, she felt depressed. "My parents forced me to go on a blind date, Natalie, you have to save me."

Natalie raised her eyebrows, blind date, looked interesting, then smiled and said: "Then go, maybe the other party is the one you are looking for."

Looking at Zoe's sad eyes, she remembered that Zoe seemed to have someone she liked.

In that case, for her best friend, she could only do everything to help her.

Today Zoe drove a red Lamborghini; she liked bright colors.

After getting in the car, Natalie carefully fastened her seat belt, solemnly said, "My little life is in your hands."

The moment Zoe curled her lips. Was her driving that bad?

The beautiful woman in the luxury car, in a bright red outfit, became a beautiful scene on the road, attracting countless gazes along the way.

The meeting place was a tea shop. The two people glanced at each other, thinking the same thing: today will be very fun.

Vincent glanced at the two beauties getting out of the luxury car; his eyes lit up. She was really a good girl. He didn't hesitate to flash the car lights twice, causing the other party to turn around.

Natalie was blinded by the headlights, looking at the people in the car with an unpleasant expression. Zoe scolded him for being crazy, then dragged her best friend away without even looking back.

Vincent originally wanted to chase after her to ask for contact information, but looking at his watch, he secretly thought it was a pity; today's blinding meeting arranged by his parents was more important, and it couldn't be delayed.

The girl arrived at the door of the private room they had agreed on, and was about to enter when she saw Vincent coming from the opposite direction.

It turned out to be them.

Vincent was both happy and worried, but then he felt a little guilty, wondering if they had seen his face clearly just now.

"Hello, I'm Zoe, and this is Natalie, my best friend." Seeing the doubt in the other party's eyes, Zoe understood that the other party couldn't tell who he was dating.

"Vincent."

Natalie didn't ignore the other party's scrutinizing gaze, but she didn't intend to communicate with him, only slightly nodding her head in greeting.

Don't think she didn't knew, he was the one who had just sat in the car.

"I wonder what kind of tea you want to drink?" Vincent sat up straight, his voice gentle, very polite.

Zoe rolled her eyes in her heart, smiling on the outside: "I've never drunk tea, I don't understand these things, you should try to tell me."

Vincent thought to himself, the corner of his mouth couldn't hide the smile: "Drink a pot of Earl Grey tea with a bright citrus aroma, gentle vanilla, and a little spicy. You don't know that this is a precious tea; only a small amount is produced each year. Only for members. Ordinary people can't drink even if they want to."

Natalie shyly replaced him. He was stupid and didn't know, using these tricks to seduce innocent young ladies was fine; he really treated them like fools.

Dating at a tea shop with someone he had just met for the first time? It was just to show off. But thinking about it carefully, it was understandable that Zoe didn't like these tricks.

"Sorry, I'm going to the bathroom." Natalie stood up and apologized.

Zoe immediately became anxious; she didn't want to be alone with Vincent. Natalie glanced at her; she immediately felt relieved, even a little sympathetic to the man in front of her.

There was still such a tacit understanding between the girls; Natalie was about to make a move.

She left the private room, grabbed the waiter beside her, whispered a few words, then went to the bathroom for a while before returning to the private room.

Vincent was secretly happy that Natalie had allowed him to be alone with Zoe and felt that today's date would be successful.

No, in a moment, the waiter brought the tea.

"You can taste it." Vincent poured the tea in a stylish manner, looking like a connoisseur.

Zo looked embarrassed and said, "I don't know much about tea tasting, would you mind teaching me?" Natalie also had a look of anticipation in her eyes. Vincent's heart almost melted when being stared at so enthusiastically by two girls with different styles.

"To enjoy tea, you have to taste its multi-layered flavor."

Vincent picked up the teacup in front of him, took a deep breath, and said eloquently, "First of all, we need to look at its aroma. The aroma of this tea is very strong. As the temperature of the tea water drops, it slowly turns into a fruity aroma, and finally settles into the vanilla scent at the bottom of the cup. The layers of flavor kept piling up, rich and endless with every minute and every second."

"Wow, you know a lot." Zoe clapped her hands in admiration.

Vincent really liked the feeling of being flattered by a beauty. He felt confused, took a sip of tea, and continued: "Look at the taste, the tea is bitter at first, then astringent, then sweet, and finally sour."

Feeling that the two beauties opposite him had been completely conquered by him, Vincent felt a little proud. He was very confident in his art of making tea. Every time he showed it to a girl, that girl would admire him immensely.

"Finally, there is the feeling of rhythm, the tea enters the throat, the aroma spreads in the mouth, the liquid quickly secretes, the aftertaste is continuous and steady, and the moisture is excellent. This is the best tea." Vincent looked full of aftertaste.

Zoe and Natalie tried hard to hold back their laughter, almost unable to continue acting.

"You really have a lot of research on tea tasting," Natalie looked at Vincent, who was saying, "I'm very good and will love me soon" on his face, but humbly said, "But Zoe, I asked the waiter to replace the tea I ordered with a Honey Bug Bite Oolon tea that is easier to drink."

The taste of Honey Bug Bite Oolon tea is similar to Earl Grey tea, but it is milder. Vincent only knows a little and brags, but in fact, he can't tell the difference.

Finally, the date ended.

The two of them carried their bags and left the private room, walking out the door. Natalie stopped without turning back, saying, "Next time you use your car lights to flash at someone, you have to see who that person is first."
