Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Boundary Breakthrough, Ei Clears Her Ren and Du Meridians

Raiden Ei was indeed lacking in experience when it came to governing a nation—terrible, even.

She could be a bit wooden when communicating with others at times.

All of this boiled down to her never engaging with the outside world from the start, giving her the vibe of someone living in her own bubble.

In the past, she'd always been Raiden Makoto's shadow warrior. Then, when Raiden Makoto fell in battle, Raiden Ei directly retreated into the Plane of Euthymia.

No handover whatsoever in between.

The massive gap in her life experiences was another reason for her shortcomings.

But it had to be said—Raiden Ei's mind was sharp as hell. Her learning and comprehension abilities were insanely strong.

From her initial clumsiness, needing Su Xuan to steady her head to avoid accidental injuries, to now mastering the rhythm and talking smooth as silk.

It had only taken her less than three days.

Su Xuan shuttled through the gap between two mountain peaks. On the other end, what greeted him was Raiden Ei's warmth.

"I'm heading out to Mondstadt today," Su Xuan said gently, stroking Raiden Ei's head.

Raiden Ei was in the middle of work and couldn't respond, so she just sped up her pace.

Su Xuan didn't mind and quietly opened the light screen in front of him.

[Host]: Su Xuan

[Item]: Qiankun Mirror

[Ability]: Telekinesis

[Trait]: Boundary Breakthrough

[Authority]: None

[Lottery Draws]: 2/times

Over these three days and nights, Su Xuan hadn't updated his diary properly.

He'd just left a daily check-in style note: [Nothing happened today].

So his lottery draws hadn't accumulated much.

However, on the night three days ago when he started guiding Raiden Ei, the diary entries settled nicely, breaking past ten draws to a total of thirteen.

Without a doubt, Su Xuan hit [All In].

This time, he got daily necessities again, plus some fresh rewards.

Stamina cap increased, energy cap increased, resistance cap increased.

And once more, he snagged a reward from the myriad realms: [Boundary Breakthrough].

[Boundary Breakthrough]: Every month, it overlays and stacks all your abilities and attributes. No growth cap.

For example, if Su Xuan's current stats were all at 1 and he gained no other power sources.

Then after one month, they'd all become 2. After two months, 4. And so on—no upper limit.

This trait could only be described as broken. And it triggered once immediately upon acquisition.

The moment Su Xuan drew it, two words flashed in his mind with wild joy: Invincible.

He had no idea how strong Teyvat's Heavenly Principles truly were, but based on the timeline, its awakening was still years away.

Even if Su Xuan did nothing now but lie around somewhere, by the time it woke up and came looking for trouble, he could swat it away with a flick.

Even the mysterious Abyss would be beneath his notice in the future.

This new Boundary Breakthrough trait was absolutely the core of Su Xuan's path to strength moving forward.

Plus, it could be actively granted to others or reclaimed.

Recipients just needed three months per iteration of their abilities.

"Service is on point," Su Xuan sighed.

The Diary System was reliable as hell.

Not only were the rewards generous, it was even playing matchmaker for him—deserved some praise.

Hearing Su Xuan's mutter, Raiden Ei thought he was talking about her. Her pretty face flushed red, and she worked even harder.

"While I've cleared the wear on your body, as a god of the Teyvat Continent, you'll still accumulate wear over time."

"Before I go, I'll freeze your body's time too, just like mine."

"That way, your bodily functions won't be affected by time. You'll have de facto immortality without the wear bothering you anymore."

Over these three days and nights, Su Xuan had put Raiden Ei through her paces as her "guidance teacher."

Thanks to the convenience of telekinesis, he'd made her strike all sorts of poses.

He was plenty satisfied with her performance across the board, so tossing her a sweet perk was only fair.

"As for Raiden Makoto and Kitsune Saiguu, you'll still need to put in the work for now."

"You wouldn't want them coming back to see Inazuma like this, right?"

As the Qiankun Mirror shone on Raiden Ei, her body trembled, her throat tightening for a split second.

Side-effect-free immortality was beyond her expectations.

But Su Xuan's follow-up words warmed her heart even more.

He'd made it crystal clear: reviving Raiden Makoto and Kitsune Saiguu was something he needed, but the "right timing" he meant was when she'd gotten Inazuma back on track.

Truth be told, Raiden Ei didn't want them seeing Inazuma in its current state either.

"And for my final gift, I'm granting you the Boundary Breakthrough trait."

"You'll get an immediate stack of your own power, and every three months after, another stack."

"Of course, if you stop behaving in the future, I can reclaim it anytime."

Raiden Ei: "????"

Boundary Breakthrough?

Stacking power every three months—what did that even mean?

Raiden Ei was lost again.

But the next second, her violet eyes widened in shock.

Silently, her power surged massively in that instant.

It was like her current self had devoured her past self.

"Urgh!" Raiden Ei jerked her head up, gasping heavily, staring at Su Xuan in stunned bewilderment. "This..."

"Yeah, new trait I unlocked," Su Xuan said casually.

Raiden Ei didn't dwell on his answer.

She was used to Su Xuan's miracles by now. To her, this was just him being modest.

"What're you spacing out for?" Su Xuan pointed at himself with a playful scold. "I told you last night—I'm heading to Mondstadt today."

"You got up early and started messing around on your own, and now you're dropping work halfway? Planning a rebellion?"

Raiden Ei froze.

Her mind raced.

Ignoring his words, she slowly turned, got on all fours on the ground, and tugged her hands to the sides. "I have no intention of rebelling."

"It's just that she won't listen. I think the one you need to discipline harshly is her."

Su Xuan: "!??"

Holy shit! Ei, have you cleared your Ren and Du Meridians?!
