Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Lumine Shocked, The Yellow Hair Aunt Is Actually Me

Lisa picked up her glass of wine and took a gentle sip: "This wine... it's just okay..."

"I don't have particularly high standards or expertise when it comes to wine tasting. This one was just mixed casually by the bartender," Su Xuan replied flatly.

"I have better wine at home. Want to come taste it together?" Lisa invited without any hesitation.

Su Xuan looked at her with interest: "Aren't you afraid I might have bad drinking habits?"

"Pfft!" Lisa couldn't help but laugh: "With your power, whether you have good drinking habits or not doesn't seem to matter much."

"Besides, telekinesis mainly relies on mental focus. How much alcohol would it take to affect your mind?"

"Probably all the wine in Mondstadt wouldn't do the trick."

Su Xuan knew Lisa had a sharp tongue and there was no need to compete with her verbally, but since a beauty had invited him proactively, Su Xuan had no reason to refuse.

They soon arrived at Lisa's home, which was more like an underground laboratory.

Fortunately, being underground, the recent Dragon Calamity hadn't damaged her residence.

"I think you know why I asked you here," Lisa said, taking a bottle of wine and two glasses from the cabinet and placing them gently in front of Su Xuan.

"You want me to restore Mondstadt after the Dragon Calamity?" Su Xuan said directly.

After all, he had already recorded the details of Mondstadt's Dragon Calamity in his diary.

With Lumine and Barbatos around, he didn't need to intervene in the Dragon Calamity at all.

Additionally, it was about Lisa's fate issue—she needed more time, and her invitation was to obtain immortality from him.

But Su Xuan didn't think Lisa, with her character, would only care about herself while Mondstadt lay in ruins.

"Before I explain why I invited you, let me tell you something beyond your expectations first."

After pouring wine for both, Lisa crossed her shapely legs and sat opposite Su Xuan.

"The Yellow Hair Aunt you mentioned in your diary didn't appear in Mondstadt today."

"She didn't appear?" Su Xuan was stunned and immediately activated his telekinesis scan.

After searching for a moment, he indeed didn't find Lumine or Paimon in Mondstadt.

Probing further outward, he discovered two figures not far from the suburbs of Mondstadt, walking in the opposite direction from the city.

Above them, a green-clad figure was tailing them along the way.

"No wonder. I was wondering why Mondstadt's damage was worse than I imagined."

"Without the Yellow Hair Aunt's interference, Dvalin went all out," Su Xuan laughed nonchalantly.

As for why Lumine suddenly headed away from Mondstadt, Su Xuan could guess roughly.

She probably saw him as suspicious.

[Something small went wrong with the developments.]

[The Yellow Hair Aunt apparently didn't come to Mondstadt. Right now, she's walking a path gradually leading away from the city with Paimon.]

[If the Yellow Hair Aunt really ignores Dvalin, even if Wind God Barbatos shows up, he'll have no choice but to reluctantly kill his fellow wind dragon.]

[After all, in this world, the only ones who can purify the Abyss right now are me and the Yellow Hair Aunt.]

[By the way, Wind God Barbatos is currently standing on a tree branch, tailing the Yellow Hair Aunt.]

[As long as the Yellow Hair Aunt and Paimon look up, they'll see a white-stockinged, green-clad brat with a little braid.]

[He'll warmly trick you, saying his name is Venti and he's a bard who's won Mondstadt's poetry championship three years running.]

The forest path on the outskirts of Mondstadt.

Paimon and Lumine glared at each other simultaneously.

Lumine never imagined that the Yellow Hair Aunt Su Xuan had been mentioning since Inazuma was actually herself.

  Wait!

Lumine's heart skipped a beat. Su Xuan said she and Paimon were walking on a path away from Mondstadt.

That meant their whereabouts were completely exposed to Su Xuan's surveillance.

Recalling how Su Xuan's telekinesis could cover all of Yashiori Island and know exactly who remained there...

Lumine's heart sank—this meant that after realizing she hadn't entered Mondstadt, Su Xuan had already locked onto her with telekinesis.

Even now, if Su Xuan wanted, he could fully control Lumine with telekinesis and drag her right to him.

"Lumine! What do we do? We can't escape Su Xuan's tracking!" Paimon said anxiously.

But as the words reached her mouth, she could only make garbled noises.

  "Huh?" Paimon was stunned.

Lumine reacted much faster than her.

Recalling the diary copy's special property: unable to speak its contents to anyone except Su Xuan or other copy holders, and the connections it created.

That proved there was someone nearby without a diary copy eavesdropping.

Lumine suddenly looked up, and sure enough, as Su Xuan said, a pair of white stockings stood glaringly in the moonlight overhead.

  Venti: "!?"

  What? She discovered my movements?

  As expected of her!

Seeing his position exposed, Venti jumped down from the branch, scratched his head with a silly smile in front of Lumine: "Hehe... you found me..."

"But don't worry, I mean no harm."

  "I'm Venti, a bard."

  Lumine: "....."

  Paimon: "..."

The two glanced at each other sideways, ignoring the jumped-down Venti.

  Lumine sighed: "Sigh."

  "Paimon, let's go back..."

Hearing Lumine's sigh, Paimon roughly understood her decision.

Since Su Xuan could lock onto their positions with telekinesis directly, running was pointless.

If running was meaningless, they had to face him head-on. What if things weren't as Lumine initially thought? They might get intel from Su Xuan.

With that in mind, Lumine and Paimon turned around and headed back toward Mondstadt.

  Venti: "????"

Wait, hold on—at least respond! What's with this ignoring?!
