One-Punch Man World.
"That's…?!"
Seeing this, Genos frowned. Was this some future scene?!
Aliens invading Earth? And the alien on-screen was, without question, a dragon-level monster.
At the very least, Genos figured he could only stall the creature for a while; several S-Class heroes would need to team up to beat it.
Was that the enemy? No… probably not.
Genos glanced at Saitama; an opponent like that wouldn't even register on his teacher's radar.
"That spaceship…"
Saitama was rather interested in the craft.
Meanwhile, inside Hero Association HQ.
"Eh? So a spaceship's going to appear over A-City in the future?"
In one room, a petite green-haired girl in a black slit dress floated in mid-air, watching the footage with a grin of keen interest.
She'd been following these highlight reels, and now—was it finally her turn to appear?
As the S-Class Rank 2 hero, Tornado of Terror had her pride.
She was certain she'd make the list; in a straight fight she feared no one.
And when it came to moments that got people fired up, she'd had her share—she'd survived several brutal battles.
"When do I show up?" she mused, drifting and smiling. Aside from daily Monster extermination,
watching multiverse projections was her greatest pleasure. Today's featured video suited her tastes perfectly.
On a street, a white-haired youth heading to challenge his next dojo saw the clip.
The youth was Garou, top disciple of Bang—already formidable and brimming with potential.
"Ho? A-City? An alien? Looks pretty strong." Garou rubbed his chin and grinned. "If I ever get the chance, I'd love a crack at him!"
He still had time before his next dojo, so he sat on the curb and kept watching.
It wasn't just Earth, either. Out in space, the Dark Matter Thieves fleet approaching Earth also picked up the video.
"That's… my ship?"
Seated on his throne, Boros watched the footage, his eyes betraying no emotion.
It felt as though his mere presence was simply meant to be, though he did wonder if the title was referring to him.
Hang in there, big bro piloting the spaceship!
What does that mean? Is it saying he's going to have a tough fight?
At the thought, Boros smiled, eager to see what kind of battle awaited him.
The video continued to play.
A flash of violet light was followed by a deafening explosion!
BOOM—!!!
In the next clip, the entire City A was gone—no, not quite.
Ninety-nine-point-eight percent of City A had been obliterated; only the Hero Association building still stood, having weathered the blast.
Every other structure had collapsed on the spot. Viewers from countless worlds widened their eyes in shock—one attack had wiped out an entire city!!!
The scene shifted. A man in a white cape and a tacky yellow superhero costume appeared—Saitama.
He studied the spaceship with a look of profound insight, then sprang upward!
WHAM—!!!
He shot skyward, rocketing straight toward the spacecraft.
"Huh?"
At that moment, Saitama noticed something: a shell larger than he was came flying at him.
He twisted mid-air at a speed the eye couldn't follow and dodged it.
"So that thing leveled City A?" he muttered, then sensed something else and looked ahead.
Violet light flared as several shells streaked toward him.
Weaving through them, Saitama caught one head-on. "Go back… to your planet!"
BANG—!!!
The next instant, he punted the shell straight back.
The picture shifted to the first alien seen, now surrounded by a sword-wielding samurai, a white-haired elder, a delinquent with a bat, and a stark-naked muscleman.
They attacked at once, but after a long exchange the fight remained deadlocked.
Clearly, even together they couldn't quickly finish the five-headed alien.
Elsewhere, a kid calmly sucking a lollipop said, "Ground enemies are fine—S-Class Rank 4 can handle them. The problem is up there. Any plane we send gets shot down instantly."
"King, as one of the top S-Class, I'd like your opinion."
Superalloy Darkshine, wearing only trunks and muscles honed to perfection, looked toward another man.
The one called King bore three claw scars across his left eye. His fierce aura made it obvious he was no ordinary fighter.
Genos mentally introduced him: 'S-Class Rank 7, King, the strongest man on Earth; other heroes treat him with the utmost respect.'
The camera focused on King; a heartbeat-like sound drummed around him, adding pressure.
Yet he closed his eyes and said calmly, "There's nothing I can do."
Darkshine and Tornado froze, caught off guard by the admission.
King went on, "While it stays in the sky, I can't think of a way to attack. The UFO's idle for now, so contact Metal Knight while we can."
"What?! Shameful!!!" Tornado snapped, shouting, "And you call yourself the strongest man?! A city's been wiped out and you're going to sit around waiting? Unbelievable."
Darkshine tried to calm her quietly, while the heartbeat around King quickened, as though angered by her outburst.
"Enough!! I'll handle it myself!!!" Tornado bristled, clearly planning to go it alone.
Beside her, Genos raised a hand, voice steady. "Hold on, I'm coming too. I don't know if it'll work, but I'll try an assault from the ground."
He obviously wouldn't let Tornado fight alone.
Tornado, however, bristled like an angry kitten. "Didn't you hear me? I said enough!!!"
Darkshine quickly stepped to Genos and whispered, "Cool it, Genos! I know you're mad, but ticking her off could get you killed!"
'Forget it…'
Genos dropped the argument, looked at the ship, and thought calmly: 'No need to get along with S-Class. Sensei's already inside.'
The scene cut to Saitama.
He had boarded the craft and beaten a horde of bizarre enemies.
Genos continued: 'Prophecy or not, no evil can beat Sensei. If even he lost, humanity would already be extinct.'
