Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Relocation Plan

"You guys? You want to teach us how to fight?"

The children of the guild stared blankly at the three, their faces filled with surprise.

"That's right, aren't you envious of those who have power and can protect the village?"

"Then we will help you gain power!"

"But not magic, but fighting with other weapons!"

Yuri said, raising an arm and showing his hard, strong fist: "Like this... a fist!"

Precht, who was beside him, also showed the throwing blade in his sleeve: "Or a throwing blade."

Warrod gave a simple and honest smile: "I don't know any fighting techniques, but I can teach you how to protect yourselves."

"How about it?"

Thump, thump... These children, who weren't strong in magic talent, suddenly felt the palpitation called 'hot-bloodedness' again.

"Are you serious?"

Looking at the excited children, Yuri immediately felt immensely satisfied: "Of course it's true. How about we start lessons tomorrow?"

"Yes!!"

That night, the three of them, Yuri, found an empty house next to the guild and settled down.

It wasn't until the three of them were lying in bed, preparing to sleep, that Yuri suddenly opened his eyes, realizing something was wrong.

"Precht, Warrod, did the three of us fall for a trick?"

"What do you mean?"

The two, who were about to sleep in their clothes, heard Yuri's voice and were both startled.

Yuri sat up, turning over: "We were supposed to steal the tenrou jade. Why, after chatting with those children, did it turn into us staying here to teach them how to fight?"

"If we really teach them, what will we do when we have to confront them when we steal the tenrou jade?"

The air immediately fell silent.

After a long while.

"It's not that we fell for a trick. I don't think those children would pretend to be pitiful in front of us the first time we met. Their emotions should be genuine, it's just that..."

Precht covered his eyes with one hand, speaking with regret: "The decision today was indeed a bit too impulsive, and it's very unfavorable for our next plan."

"Yuri, this is all your fault for making rash decisions."

"Huh?! How can this be entirely my fault? Didn't you also agree at the time? You even pulled out a throwing blade and deliberately showed off in front of the children..."

Precht felt greatly ashamed by Yuri's words, his cheeks flushed slightly, and he grumbled silently.

Warrod gave an awkward smile from the side: "We can't be blamed for this either. The atmosphere was just right at the time, and we couldn't help but..."

They thought they were the hunters, but ended up being played for fools, treated as prey.

It truly shamed their identity as Treasure Hunters!

"What now?"

"We can only bite the bullet. After all, we already said what we said today, so it wouldn't be good to go back on our word."

That night, none of the three slept well.

Meanwhile, in the small home of Weston, Mavis, and Zera.

On the sofa.

Three figures, two sitting and one lying down.

After a whole day of hard work with the guild children, Zera, who was physically and mentally exhausted, had her head resting on Mavis's lap and her legs propped on Weston's lap, sound asleep.

Mavis held a magic book in her hands, reading it intently.

Weston, as usual, had the Super Ancient Text's control panel open, his fingers constantly typing out the future development plans for Tenrou Village and Fairy Tail on the virtual keyboard.

On the document interface, words like 'Magnolia', 'Magic Council', 'Fiore Kingdom', 'Dark Guild', 'Local Alliance', and 'Trading Company' were clearly visible.

He wrote and paused, sometimes with a burst of inspiration, he could type out a dozen lines, other times his thoughts would get stuck, and he would have to stop and think.

At these times, he would always place his hand on Zera's leg, rubbing it back and forth vigorously like petting a cat.

Zera and Mavis were both in the most beautiful years of a girl's life.

Their cute and beautiful faces, innocent smiles, petite and delicate bodies that were easy to push, coupled with their straightforward yet slightly tsundere personalities, were truly treasures that humanity could not buy with any amount of money.

Only in a two-dimensional, otherworldly setting like this could they fully blossom.

They were like flowers blooming in spring, birds soaring high in the sky, dewdrops on green grass in the morning, all the beautiful things in the world!

Feeling Weston's movement, Zera, in her sleep, frowned slightly, letting out an unhappy groan from her nose, then buried her face deeper into Mavis's embrace.

In the guild, the three of them were the 'reliable father,' 'gentle mother,' and 'fiery stepmother';

But back home, they would revert to their original roles, becoming 'older brother' and two 'younger sisters'.

After a long while, Mavis closed her book and turned to look at Weston.

"What exactly was going on with those three people today?"

"If I'm not mistaken, having everyone deliberately act pitiful in front of them to keep them in the village was your plan, wasn't it?"

"What do you want to do?"

Yuri's intuition was correct; it was Weston's idea for the guild children to play pitiful in front of the three of them today.

Weston could communicate directly with others in their minds using Mind Communication Magic, so he left no trace when instructing the children.

Even ordinary Mages wouldn't discover such a method of issuing commands, let alone Yuri and his two companions, who were ordinary people who had never learned magic.

However, such an action indeed did not escape the keen eye of Mavis, a clever girl who was extremely familiar with Weston and the guild members.

"Oh? You found out?"

Weston stopped what he was doing and chuckled, showing no embarrassment at being exposed.

"There are two reasons."

"One is that the village's development on the island has reached a bottleneck, and I believe it's time to go to the mainland and get everyone and Fairy Tail on the right track."

"For this, we need to connect everyone in the village with people from the outside."

"Establishing friendly relations with these three who came to the island is the first step towards outward development."

On the right track... "Do you mean to go to the mainland and formally apply to the Magic Council to make Fairy Tail a legitimate Magic Guild?"

Mavis cared deeply about the guild, no less than Weston.

She always remembered that Fairy Tail had never officially received permission from the Magic Council for its establishment; it was still an 'illegal organization'.

"That's right."

"When I first founded Fairy Tail and taught everyone magic, it wasn't just to help rebuild Tenrou Island, but also with the thought that one day we could help more people who were struggling."

"Now that everyone in the guild has power, if we don't go out, wouldn't all this magic have been learned in vain?"
