Kakuzu who noticed the Fourth Raikage's confusion, pointed at Hidan who was going crazy while chanting mantras, then said flatly: "This person has an immortal body. Even if his head is severed, he won't die."
"Impossible!" The Fourth Raikage found it hard to believe.
Was there really such a thing as a truly immortal body in this world?
"You'll soon experience it, Raikage!" Hidan grinned evilly while slowly directing the kunai to his own heart, preparing to deliver a fatal attack that would be reflected to the Fourth Raikage.
"This is bad!" The Fourth Raikage felt the threat of death. His pupils contracted, his body instantly transformed into blazing lightning, and in the blink of an eye, he was already before Hidan.
"Eh?" Hidan's face changed, but the opponent's speed was too high so he didn't have time to react.
Meanwhile, the Six Paths Pain were busy restraining Hachibi and Killer Bee, so didn't have time to help.

Hidan was kicked very hard until repelled out. At the same time, the Fourth Raikage also felt the impact from that power; he groaned while holding back and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.

Hidan's head was destroyed and charred; an attack clearly fatal for ordinary humans. However, the thing that made Raikage stunned happened.
Hidan still made groans of pain, his body continued writhing, and the remains of his head appeared moving: "Damn it, so painful! So painful! Kakuzu, get over here and help me!"

He couldn't understand how this person was still alive.

Three masks (Wind, Fire, and Lightning Elements) on Kakuzu's back immediately gathered at his right arm. After brief energy gathering, he fired a tremendous blue chakra cannon toward the Fourth Raikage.
Because most of the Fourth Raikage's attention was focused on Hidan and Kakuzu's attack was very fast, he didn't have time to dodge.

That chakra cannon struck the Fourth Raikage's body squarely.
This was Kakuzu's ultimate move with tremendous destructive power. Though the Fourth Raikage's defense was extraordinary, his lightning shield still broke. He was repelled in the air while vomiting fresh blood, his condition drastically weakened.

Many black threads shot from Kakuzu's body. His arms extended limitlessly, controlled by those threads, and directly gripped the repelled Raikage.
"Hidan!" Kakuzu shouted loudly.
Hidan immediately jumped up. Though his head was still in disarray, the recovery process had already begun. With a terrifyingly distorted face, he licked the remaining brain fluid dripping from his head and laughed shrilly: "Leave it to me!"
He immediately jumped back into his ritual circle. His body returned to the black-white skull form. This time he didn't hesitate; he immediately pulled the kunai and plunged it toward his own heart.
As long as he was inside the circle, his life and death were connected to Raikage. If his heart was stabbed, no matter how strong the Fourth Raikage was, he would die on the spot—because the other party didn't have an immortal body.
"Damn it!" The Fourth Raikage who was tightly gripped by Kakuzu's thread tentacles tried to break free with his remaining strength, but he realized it was too late.

Hidan's body was forcibly torn into two parts by that pulling force. Blood rain spurted accompanied by internal organs falling.
"AAAAAAKH! PAINFUL! SO PAINFUL!" The upper part of Hidan's body rolled on the ground while howling.
*THUD!*
Killer Bee enveloped in red chakra cloak landed hard on the ground. Eight tails on his back spread wide like a very large giant red umbrella.
"What exactly is this creature? Why won't it die?" Bee felt strange.
The Fourth Raikage also exhaled in relief with pounding heart; this was the first time he felt death so close.
"Next, your turn yo~" Bee stared at the Six Paths Pain and the others with a unique speaking tone: "If you want to capture Hachibi, I think your preparations are still not enough yo!"
