A great battle was raging. The Fourth Raikage was fighting fiercely against the Six Paths Pain and other Akatsuki members. Wherever they passed, earth and stone shattered chaotically due to the tremendous rampaging power.
"This old man's power is truly terrifying..." Hidan was repelled backward by Raikage's punch.
His red scythe almost split his own body. He crawled up while grumbling and complaining to Kakuzu beside him.
Kakuzu glanced at him briefly. He felt very annoyed with this chatty teammate.
"Help me get that old man's blood—I'll finish him off!" Hidan was very confident in his abilities.
Among all of them, he was the only one with a truly immortal body; even Kakuzu who could replace hearts couldn't match him.
Though in terms of pure combat power he wasn't the strongest, in terms of strange techniques and survival abilities, he was definitely at the top.
"Fine!" Kakuzu answered briefly with a serious expression.
The Fourth Raikage's power was indeed very frightening, even surpassing Jiraiya and the others. His defense was also very strong; though ganged up on by several people, he could still suppress them. Only the Six Paths Pain could match him.
"The battle has started—I'm feeling embarrassed... In that case, let me play with you all too, yeah~" Hachibi's Jinchuriki, Killer Bee, was enveloped by a red chakra cloak.
The shadow of a red tentacled ox appeared faintly behind him, terrifying power began to boil.
"Bijuudama—!"
A Bijuu energy ball solidified before him, then was fired hard toward the battlefield. The target was the Six Paths Pain fighting with the Fourth Raikage.
"Hmm?" Pain immediately sensed the wild energy behind them and scattered to avoid.
The Fourth Raikage panted, turned toward Killer Bee and snapped: "Leave the battlefield immediately—let me finish this!"
Killer Bee firmly shook his head: "These people are targeting me—impossible they'll let me go. Besides, these bastards dared to disturb my concert, that's a grave sin! Just watch, I'll beat them today!"
Right at that moment, a beam of golden light fell from the sky and floated right before Killer Bee.
"What is this thing?" Killer Bee was stunned.
Everyone turned toward him, and instantly their faces showed shock. They reflexively looked at the sky. On that golden scroll, Gyuki's form was coincidentally being displayed.
"Oh ho ho ho~ Didn't expect you'd also enter the Myriad Beasts List, very amazing yo!" Killer Bee showed an exaggerated expression.
Then, a red energy tentacle extended from his body and directly grabbed that golden light. The light shattered, showing its true form: a red ox with a pair of horns curving to the sky, looking up roaring angrily.
This was the Gold List reward—Wrath of the God!
The red tentacle gripped that treasure and directly pulled it into Killer Bee's body. Instantly, that red chakra energy overflowed and boiled like hot water being cooked. The surging chakra seemed about to explode; that terrifying power made everyone around turn pale.
"Capture him immediately!" Sasori's face changed.
He immediately shouted while controlling his puppet, trying to pass the Fourth Raikage to directly capture Killer Bee. Other Akatsuki members realized the danger and simultaneously moved to surround Killer Bee from all directions.
"Don't you dare—!" The Fourth Raikage roared angrily.
Lightning struck all over his body, his speed drastically increased to maximum limit. One of his punches directly shattered one of Sasori's puppets into pieces. He then dashed toward Pain.
"Too late..." Deva Pain's calm voice sounded—he immediately released Shinra Tensei.
This level of ninjutsu couldn't be stopped even by the Fourth Raikage; he was repelled away and couldn't approach.
Meanwhile, Killer Bee who was in the transformation process was captured by other members.
"Chibaku Tensei—!"
A black energy ball was thrown into the air. Stones and earth from the ground surface were attracted to the sky, including Killer Bee below them. They intended to seal Killer Bee and Hachibi temporarily so they could be brought home. With the "Wrath of the God" reward, Killer Bee had now become a more difficult factor to control; sealing was the safest path.
"Opportunity!" Hidan, who had been lurking in the corner, finally found an opening.
He dashed out while swinging his red scythe. The Fourth Raikage who was focused on Killer Bee's condition didn't have time to fully react when that red scythe grazed him. Though Hidan's attack couldn't totally penetrate the Fourth Raikage's defense, that attack still managed to scratch his body, leaving a wound that released fresh blood.
"Hehe... not easy..." Hidan directed that blood-smeared scythe to his mouth, licking it with his tongue while showing a very evil smile.
His body instantly changed color to black-white, forming a strange skull form. He drew a strange circular pattern on the ground using his own blood and stood right in the center.
"This is bad!" The Fourth Raikage realized something was wrong, but clearly it was too late.
*PUCHI!*
Hidan took a kunai and stabbed it hard into his own thigh. Blood spurted—he groaned in pain, but his face instead showed a psychopathic smile.
"What—?!" The Fourth Raikage's face drastically changed.
His body that was charging forward suddenly stumbled; on his thigh, blood suddenly spurted out without warning, exactly at the same place as Hidan's wound. He sharply turned toward Hidan, realizing that his body condition was now connected to that crazy person.
"Inside that circle, all damage he receives will be reflected to my body...?"
