Chapter 148: The Silent Divinity of the Godw Fields

The first rays of dawn touched the realm of

Godw, casting an otherworldly glow that shifted between deep amethyst and radiant gold. This was the reality crafted by the hands of Volt, the being who had transcended the limitations of fate, shattered the Fifth Gate, and executed the very Author of his story. Volt, once feared as the Source of Death and the undisputed ruler of all parallel multiverses, now stood in the middle of a vast, tranquil field of wheat and potatoes. Wearing a tattered straw hat and simple farmer's overalls, the hands that once tore through higher dimensions were now calloused from clutching a simple shovel.

Volt had retired from his life of cosmic destruction. He possessed 12 forms of immortality and the ability to murder any target or concept with a mere thought. Yet, his greatest daily challenge was now protecting his crops from pests without accidentally using "Physics Manipulation" and destabilizing the planet's gravitational core. He had become a master of his own narrative, choosing the quiet life of a father and husband over the throne of a god.

On the far side of the emerald fields, Anos, Volt's 17-year-old son, stood like a pillar of divine authority. Anos inherited his father's violet eyes and an aura that could warp the very fabric of existence. Beside him was Akuto, the son of Sai. Together, they served as the official Guardians of the Multiverse, maintaining the delicate balance of every parallel world. Anos looked toward the horizon, his vision piercing through the atmospheric layers into the 10th dimension.

"Akuto, do you feel that?" Anos asked, his voice vibrating with a low, celestial frequency. "There is a massive rift forming in the 10th dimension. Someone is attempting to use 'Probability Manipulation' to rewrite the laws of causality."

Akuto, who carried the primordial roots of Sakuna within his soul, materialized instantly by Anos's side. "I feel it, Anos. But we have a problem. If we don't finish our chores by noon, your mother (Vanessa) will unleash a fury that even our Type 8 immortality cannot withstand. We must be swift."

Suddenly, Alisa, Volt's 15-year-old daughter, came sprinting through the fields, her laughter echoing like silver bells. She possessed light energy so potent it could extinguish eternal darkness, but currently, she used it mainly to boost the signal on her phone. "Dad! Anos! Sasha and Karina are at it again! They're using 'Perception Manipulation' to fight over who gets the last cup of coffee! Karina is trying to freeze Sasha's personal timeline just to win the argument!"

Volt drove his shovel into the earth and let out a weary, divine sigh. The man who could manipulate the past, present, and future of trillions of souls was now trapped in a comedic domestic drama. He looked at Anos and Akuto with a stern but knowing gaze. "Go. Fix the rift. But Anos, use your thought-based killing to eliminate the threats instantly. Do not get a single drop of cosmic blood on those clothes. I will use 'Story Manipulation' here to create a localized illusion so your mother thinks you're still weeding the garden."

Volt then subtly began to weave "Space-Time Manipulation" to automate the irrigation system, making the water flow in perfect, impossible patterns. At that moment, Vanessa, Volt's wife and the true authority of the household, leaned out of the kitchen window. "Volt! I sense a disturbance in the Information Laws! If I find out you're using 'Reality Warping' to slack off again, I will exile you to the void for a millennium!"

Volt, the God of Godw who could shred reality with a flick of his finger, turned pale. "Of course not, dear! Just manual labor here!" He frantically resumed his digging, hiding his cosmic aura beneath the soil. Anos and Akuto vanished into the fabric of reality, embarking on their secret mission to save the multiverse while their father covered for them. This was the daily life of the strongest family in existence: a father who murdered his Author but trembled at the thought of his wife's wooden spoon.
