Chapter 189 - Chapter 188: Pal Sphere

Aurantius Haro's rapid flashing immediately fixed Luca's gaze on the sneaky figure on the screen.

The naked, pale man was hunched over, using the [Boxer Mech]'s massive metal foot as cover. Like an albino lab rat escaping a cage, he was slinking along the ground in the shadows.

Clearly, he was hoping to slip away unnoticed from the newly arrived steel giant.

What he definitely didn't expect was that the [Boxer Mech], being Gundam-inspired, didn't just have main cameras in the head. It was covered with over thirty sensors facing every angle.

Even hiding by the heel, The Spot couldn't escape the mech's surveillance.

"Ha! Trying to run?"

Luca grinned, feeling much better.

Catching this guy might not solve the infighting immediately, but at least it could drag everyone out of this dimensional space.

But why isn't he using his teleportation to escape quickly?

Luca looked at The Spot's pale skin on the monitor, devoid of any black spots, and then at the vast white space around them.

Did he use all his power just to maintain this dimension?

Despite the guess, Luca wasn't sure. If he maneuvered the [Boxer Mech] to grab him, would the guy slip away?

After all, you can't predict the logic of a crazy person.

Maybe he could leave anytime but just enjoyed the thrill of sneaking around like a thief?

Meanwhile, Tony's voice crackled over the comms, mixed with heavy panting and the clang of metal.

"Luca! I can't hold them back much longer! Hulk is getting stronger! Venom just got beaten into splits! Cap and Natasha are fighting like mortal enemies!"

"Ouch! Since when is Spider-Gwen this strong?!!"

The background noise was filled with Hulk's roars and dull impacts.

Even though Tony's Veronica armor was larger than the original, facing a fully enraged Hulk was immense pressure.

Not to mention the chaos from the others.

The support drones were just a drop in the bucket in this mess.

Fortunately, the two Haro Mechs arrived a step late but helped divert some fire. Otherwise, Tony would have called for help sooner.

"Hold on for five more seconds! I caught a big fish here!"

Luca responded quickly, eyes locked on the oblivious Spot under the mech's shadow.

Forget it. Old method is best!

"What big fish? Speak human!"

Tony demanded while maneuvering frantically above the floating island to dodge a black spear thrown by Venom from the ruins below.

Luca didn't have time to explain.

He activated the [Tuxedo]'s muscle enhancement and "Kick Power Boost" Level 3. He took a breath to calm his nerves.

Then he slammed the button to open the cockpit hatch.

Before the front hatch fully opened, Luca shot a grapple line from his right elbow, anchoring it to the side of the hatch. The cable retracted rapidly, launching Luca out of the cockpit with a whoosh.

He swung out through the half-open door in an arc, moving from the front of the mech to its back in mid-air.

Locking onto The Spot, who had looked up in panic at the noise, Luca's left hand slapped the [Soccer Ball Belt] at his waist.

A soccer ball inflated instantly in mid-air. Still flying, Luca delivered a violent volley kick.

The motion was fluid, giving The Spot zero time to react. The "Soccer Cannon," wrapped in rainbow lightning, slammed into his face.

BOOM.

Air exploded. Sparks flew.

The rainbow soccer ball carried The Spot, spinning through the air for over ten meters, smashing through a pile of debris before stopping.

Seeing this, Luca retracted the grapple line and landed steadily on the knee joint of the [Boxer Mech].

"Done!"

As soon as he spoke, the white space began to tremble violently.

It felt like the whole world was collapsing.

Luca remembered the last time he knocked The Spot out; shortly after, a bunch of random junk spewed out of his body.

"Kid, what did you do? This space is collapsing!"

Tony asked nervously over the comms. Luca replied calmly.

"I caught The Spot. Just wait to get out!"

After speaking, Luca didn't return to the cockpit. Instead, he leaped down and rushed to the unconscious Spot.

His right hand pulled a prepared Hoi-Poi Capsule from his waist and clicked it open.

POOF~

A small explosion of smoke.

In his hand appeared a fist-sized, pale blue sphere with gold lining.

[Pal Sphere] (from Chapter 69).

This was the item Luca had planned to use on The Spot.

He had synthesized it a long time ago since the materials were simple. The "Space Energy Crystal" he thought would be hard to find turned out to be easy—he just used the [Dehydration Gun] to turn an object into an energy cube, put it in the synthesis circle, and the System accepted it.

He just hadn't had the chance to infiltrate the SHIELD prison to use it.

Now was the perfect time.

He raised the [Pal Sphere] at the unconscious Spot. A circle resembling a gauge appeared in Luca's vision, framing the target.

In the top right corner of the gauge, it displayed: "13%".

That low? As expected, the blue Pal Sphere is too low-level!

Yes, this was the capture probability.

The space around them was shaking violently. Luca gritted his teeth and pulled out a plain tactical knife.

13% is no good. He's not injured enough! Let's see how many stabs you can take!

Thwack~ One stab.

The unconscious Spot twitched but didn't wake up.

The gauge changed from "13%" to "18%".

It works! Need to be faster!

Thwack~ Thwack~ Thwack~ Thwack~ Thwack~

21%... 26%... 30%... 38%... 52%... 52%... 52%!
