Air shattered as Ian Grey took the initiative and used Sonido, appearing instantly before Yekawa. His twin scorpion claws snapped forward like sharp scissors, thrusting straight toward Yekawa's face
Yekawa pulled back half a step and raised the sword in his right hand to block

Sparks burst into the air as blade and claws collided
Yekawa's left hand dropped in a smooth arc and a ten meter lightning whip lashed out instantly. Ian Grey reacted at once, stepping on the void as spirit particles erupted beneath his feet. He used Sonido again and retreated ten meters in a blink

The lightning whip slammed down with terrifying force, shattering several giant trees. Just as Ian Grey believed he had escaped its range, the whip suddenly curved and extended, twisting like a living lightning serpent as it struck toward his back
Sizzle
At the critical moment Ian Grey's scorpion tail shot out. The sharp stinger wrapped in dark spiritual pressure collided head on with the lightning serpent

The clash of spiritual pressure detonated violently. Howling winds swept through the forest, causing the surrounding giant trees to sway uncontrollably
The instant Ian Grey focused on deflecting the lightning whip, Yekawa vanished

Using Sonido, Yekawa appeared directly above him. He raised his long blade high. Faint arcs of lightning crawled along the blade as he brought it down in a brutal vertical slash. A massive dark golden blade aura infused with thunder erupted outward
Ian Grey had barely repelled the lightning whip and could only dodge sideways in haste. He failed to evade completely
His right arm was severed instantly

Blood sprayed violently as the arm fell. Ian Grey staggered back, his face drained of color as he clutched the stump
The strike did not end there. The residual blade aura continued forward, splitting a nearby mindless Gillian cleanly in half
So strong. If I were not already injured…
Ian Grey had once been an Adjuchas. Even after being ambushed and enslaved by Hubert Allen, degenerating into a Gillian, he had never accepted that he was anything less than an Adjuchas
When he sensed Yekawa's spiritual pressure and mistook him for an Adjuchas, he longed for a fair battle. He wanted to prove that the pride of an Adjuchas still burned within him
Yekawa looked at the half human scorpion Hollow whose arm he had cut off. For the first time he did not immediately press the attack. His gaze grew complicated

Ian Grey roared as dark spiritual pressure exploded from his body. Countless sharp needles shimmering with black purple light burst from his scorpion tail and shot toward Yekawa

Still, this opponent knew he was outmatched and yet chose to bare his fangs

Yekawa gripped the hilt of his sword with both hands. Lightning entwined tightly around the blade as he unleashed another full power strike
The dark golden blade aura surged forth again, dyeing the sky in gold
So strong. Even at my absolute peak, I would not be his match. He can definitely defeat Hubert Allen

When the blade aura dissipated, a massive crack over ten meters long split the ground. The half human scorpion Hollow lay in pieces within it
Yekawa stepped forward and activated Soul Eater, absorbing every fragment without waste
As the final severed limb vanished into the dark golden vortex behind him, Yekawa felt an unprecedented sense of satisfaction
A Gillian that had fallen from Adjuchas rank possessed spiritual pressure equal to nearly a hundred ordinary Gillians
How delicious would a true Adjuchas be
While killing the half human scorpion, Yekawa had sensed another spiritual pressure lingering on him
If he was not mistaken, it belonged to the Adjuchas standing behind him

Yekawa slaughtered the scattered and fleeing Gillians methodically, recalling the battle as he moved
Before long, more than a hundred Gillians were devoured and digested
At this point, the spiritual pressure within Yekawa had increased by nearly fifty percent compared to before the battle

After traveling all day using Sonido, he felt himself drawing closer and closer to that spiritual pressure
At the same time, he sensed hundreds of Gillian presences clustered around it

Yekawa gazed at the nests formed among the four giant trees ahead and activated Camo
He decided to eliminate the outer Gillian guards first before entering the nest to kill the Adjuchas
