The moment the attack was unleashed nearly seventy percent of Yekawa's spiritual pressure was consumed in an instant. Thick dark golden lightning wrapped in an unstoppable blade aura tore through the air and slashed straight toward Hubert Allen
What a fast blade
Sensing the earth shattering power of the strike Hubert Allen immediately activated his innate ability. He opened his mouth and spewed out vast amounts of black mist poison. The poisonous mist intertwined and condensed forming a gigantic venomous serpent that rushed forward to collide with Yekawa's Thunderclap Slash
At the same time the Gillians under Hubert Allen had finished charging their Cero. Hundreds of black purple beams locked onto Yekawa and fired simultaneously

The dragon like Thunderclap Slash collided head on with the giant poisonous serpent producing a deafening explosion that shook the forest
The Thunderclap Slash split the venomous serpent cleanly in two along with Hubert Allen who was hiding behind it
Yet at that same instant hundreds of Cero blasted toward Yekawa
Sand and stone were thrown into the air as dust swallowed the battlefield

With a final scream filled with terror Hubert Allen's body exploded from the center

As the dust gradually settled Yekawa stood within the massive crater slowly spitting out a mouthful of blood. His entire shoulder had been blasted out of existence
Fortunately I dodged fast enough otherwise I would have been blown apart completely

However his head and vital organs were protected. Soon the flesh around the grotesque wound began to writhe violently and in a short time Yekawa who had been on the brink of death fully recovered

He forced himself to remain alert used Sonido and staggered toward Hubert Allen's remains activating Soul Eater to devour him
Without pausing to digest he raised his blade and charged straight toward the remaining Gillians
These Gillians were completely unintelligent and moved sluggishly under the effects of snake venom. Without a leader they were even more foolish than ordinary Gillians allowing Yekawa to rampage despite his weakened state devouring each one without mercy
After killing half of them a powerful sense of fullness surged within him. Yekawa forcefully suppressed it and continued the slaughter
Only after every Gillian had been killed did Yekawa fly up to what had once been Hubert Allen's lair. Only then did he stop suppressing the impending breakthrough and carefully digest the spiritual particles he had absorbed with Soul Eater
Yekawa curled his entire body inward as waves of dark golden spiritual pressure surged outward like tidal waves
In an instant a towering pillar of dark golden light erupted piercing upward toward the heavens and downward toward the depths
Within several hundred miles centered on Yekawa every being sensed this vast aura
A hundred miles north a lone centaur shaped Adjuchas suddenly turned toward Yekawa's direction dread filling his eyes

What an incredible feeling Is this the leap of life
At the very center of the light pillar Yekawa cried out in comfort. It felt as though warm hands enveloped him the sensation gentle and soothing like a spring breeze beyond description
Moments later the pillar of light dissipated revealing Yekawa's towering hundred meter tall form
After advancing to Gillian Yekawa did not assume the common form shared by most Hollows. Instead his appearance became far more humanoid
His entire body was pitch black etched with dark golden lightning patterns. His former centipede tail transformed into armor like segments that fused with his helmet shaped mask and wrapped along his back
The Hollow hole that had once been at his waist and tail center had shifted to the position of his heart
Feeling the surging spiritual pressure within him Yekawa had no doubt that the Adjuchas who once pushed him to his limits would now be unable to withstand even a casual strike

Yekawa glanced down at his skeletal feet and jumped in excitement causing the ground to quake three times
Surveying himself he found that only his feet retained strong Gillian traits. Even so he was immensely satisfied. Before this he could only move by dragging his tail. Now with legs restored he felt genuine joy

Yekawa looked at the Asauchi in his hand which had expanded into a forty meter long blade and smiled knowingly. The blade had scaled perfectly with his body
Hehe but then again
With a strange laugh Yekawa's massive form rapidly shrank transforming from a hundred meters to just over two meters tall resembling a normal human. At the same time the giant Asauchi condensed back into the size of a standard sword as Yekawa controlled his spiritual pressure
This was a new ability awakened after advancing to Gillian As You Wish
As You Wish allowed him to freely control the enlargement and reduction of his body within a certain range. After shrinking to his smallest form this became his current appearance
With this humanoid form combined with his terrifying spiritual pressure anyone who saw him would likely mistake him for a Vasto Lorde
Yekawa decided to use this smallest form as his default state. The true Gillian body was simply too massive. Even with Camo he could only hide his spiritual pressure not his mountain like physique
Yekawa casually swung his blade. A powerful blade light surged outward felling more than a dozen towering trees

The familiar sensation of the world spinning returned as the scenery blurred. The towering trees of the Great Hollow Forest transformed into low earthen houses
