Staring from the window, she gazed down at the ground below, with the airport coming into view. Bold letterings on full display on the front of the airport's signage, as the skyline of the city casted the background in high-rise architecture.
The plane descended with grace, before slowing to a snail's pace and arriving at an available jet bridge. With her mother seated beside him, she unbuckled both of their seatbelts before grabbing the luggage from the overhead bins.
"That felt nice. Sitting in first class always makes my back feel cosy whenever we go abroad. And the food this time was especially good!" Cambuscan stated whilst discussing with her daughter. "I agree, but it's not better than lying down back home.. Though nothing could be better than that." She replied back with.
Taking hold of her rucksack, she placed it on her back. Before de-boarding the plane, as they strolled towards the baggage carousel. Holding her mothers hand along the way.
Reflecting on these past few days, Kincsem had not done much besides her usual routine, which included training lightly. Yet had not tried to run around the track outside her garden. It was not that she didn't want to, but rather that she had to get familiar with this body again.
Being technically both two people with split ideals, memories, and personalities, yet in the same body had led to her having to reorganise her thought process. With the knowledge of her past life, and the memories of this life, they'd have to work in unison.
Though, in doing so, she threw away the fact that she was once a guy. As it wouldn't make any sense to anyone other than herself, and perhaps those three Goddesses. They somehow knew her better than she did herself, though it may be due to them being omniscient.
As they strolled towards the entrance of the terminal, a cacophony of laughs echoed off the walls of the building, as a girl slightly older than Kincsem stood beside her mother, brimming with pride as she cackled. "Ah! Ha- Ha Ha! Bestow your gaze upon your great cousin, for it is I! TM Opera O!"
She ran up to Kincsem, hugging her tightly, before letting go. Slapping her back as she bowed to greet Kincsems' mother. "Greetings, Auntie! It is without great gratitude that you have decided to bring along my favourite cousin. After all, it is her twelfth birthday in two days? Isn't that right?"
A lazy nod came from Kincsem, still tired from the flight as she sighed in relief. "Hello cousin. It's been a while since we have talked, right?" As she hugged her back, before continuing. "Oh, and it is my birthday soon." As TM Opera O's mother walked up towards them, lightly grabbing onto the scruff of her daughters' neck before hugging Cambuscan.
"Let's not hang around here for long, we have lots to discuss. You girls sit in the back of the car whilst we discuss what our next plans will be for the next few days, understood?" She spoke, whilst directing them to her car, using the key fob to open the doors.
Getting inside the car, it began to run and leave the airport, at which Opera O began to spur up a conversation with Kincsem. "I feel so ecstatic that I just want to run beside the car, and race you to our home, you know? But seeing as how you look so tired, I won't force you, esteemed cousin. After all, a king must know how to take care of their people!"
A yawn erupted from Kincsem's mouth, before replying back. "Maybe I can do that later… It's so early right now, and I just want to rest the moment we get back home." As she glanced back over at the prideful cousin of hers. It would seem as though she had begun the maturation stage, though hadn't developed fully to be considered a conqueror yet.
That would not be until 3 years later. By then, maybe Kincsem herself would also begin to participate in racing. Only time could tell. "I want to become just like my mother! Who won 3 G1 races, including the Eclipse stakes! Maybe even better than her~ Haha Ha!" As a smug grin began to emerge from her face.
Opera House, hearing her arrogant daughter's rant, whipped her head around, as she began to shout at her, with a dagger piercing gaze. "If you want to become better than me, you better at least study and train hard! So calm your horses before I throw you out the car and make you run back home!"
Before turning her head around refocusing back on the road. TM Opera O stared back at Kincsem, silent as a mouse as she mumbled below her teeth. "Hai… So cousin Kincsem, what are you planning to do on your birthday? Do you wish for me, the great Opera O, to bring over some of my friends?"
Kincsem stared back, slightly blank. "..Friends? You never told me you had any friends. But, you can if you want to." A sense of betrayal erupted from Opera O, as she dramatically flung her legs and laid down on the bucket seats.
"Ah~ Your words have claimed my life. You have defeated me, and so I must withdraw from existence.." Before closing her eyes, as to act dead. Resurrecting herself after a few seconds passed by, she began to continue speaking. "Of course I have friends! I can show you around Tracen Academy later to show you them~"
Hearing of the mention of Tracen Academy, her ears perked up. "Tracen Academy? Perhaps I could go around there later. Though, you'd have to bring someone other than yourself to be our tour guide! Knowing you, you would instantly bring me to the track to race against me."
"...That's true.. Cousin." A resignation of defeat came from Opera O's mouth, visibly pouting. "But I can have Meisho Doto lead us for this trip.. Oh Meisho~ My little sheep, oh how I miss her.." A dumbfounded expression began to form on Kincsem's face as her cousin began to ramble on about her friends.
The car began to decelerate, as a villa came into view, before coming to a halt. Sat on a beautiful side of Tokyo, with elegant architecture emphasised from British design, inspired from Opera Houses' side of the family. Opera O began to drag Kincsem out of the car, incessantly eager to show her around.
"Look before you, cousin! This is where we reside in, and where you shall too for the duration of this holiday!" Tugging her along, she showed her around the house, before ending up at two guest rooms. "And this is where you will be staying!"
As Kincsem leaned over, collapsing onto the bed, still fully clothed. "Let me.. Lie down here for a bit before we do anything else, alright?" A chuckle emerged from her cousin's mouth before she began the door. "Sure! In a few hours we will go to my school, have a good nap!" As the door closed shut.
