Quincy nodded. "Alright, let's meet tonight at eight o'clock. Room 306 in the third-floor VIP section of Lush Lips. I won't bother you at work any longer. I've watched your show at home—you're very charming."
Sharon Ainsworth waved him off. "Goodbye."
Looking like the cat that got the cream, Quincy purred, "I'll be waiting for you tonight."
She turned away, her expression turning foul. 'I know exactly what that pig is after, but I have no choice but to go.'
Sharon Ainsworth was in a foul mood all day.
She barely made it through the workday. When evening came, she went home, had a quick dinner, and left for the appointment without even changing her clothes.
She parked her car a short distance from the entrance and put on a mask and hat before going inside.
She went straight to the third floor. Standing at the door to Room 306, she hesitated, not wanting to go in.
After a long moment of deliberation, Sharon Ainsworth finally pushed the door open.
