Ashmaris pov
The ladies look terrified like they have gone through some scary ordeal.
"Can the matter wait, I have some important meetings this morning." I tell them, Ishkara isn't among the ladies today. Usually she leads the group of women when there's a complaint.
"No, your Majesty," one woman stepped forward, when I told them we should speak later.
They were all reluctant and mumbled to themselves before this woman spoke up.
My eyes met her, she lowered it for a moment before meeting my eyes again. Standing straight.
"Forgive me your Majesty. I don't mean to disrespect you but this is about our safety. That is why we are here and we can't postpone this meeting," the woman said bowing slightly.
"What is your name and what house are you from?" I asked her.
She lifted her head up and glanced at me in bewilderment before smiling, "My name is Astrax Voryn of Valtheris." She said softly.
