Chapter 82: The Three Generals

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the Hero Association headquarters.

High in the sky, several birdmen flapped their wings, circling above the Hero Association headquarters.

One of them, a massive birdman with blood-red skin, let out an eerie laugh:

"Jie jie jie jie jie! I am the Sky King! Today, I shall conquer the human lands! What a strange building; this must be the human headquarters. Watch me destroy it!"

Just then, a dull sound of flesh being sliced came from behind, followed by the death cries of his companions.

"Aaaaaaaah!!"

"Boss, run! There's a monster! A monster!"

The Sky King turned his head blankly, only to see the corpses of his companions sliced in half vertically.

In the next second, an incredibly fast flash of a blade slashed down from above. A line of blood extended down the center of the Sky King's face, his eyes filled with disbelief.

"How is this possible... I, the great Sky King... how could I..."

The corpse split in two. A giant humanoid creature floated behind the Sky King, the fleshy wings on its back flapping continuously.

This monster had a very peculiar appearance; its overall form was brown, looking like a giant mudman. Five heads grew above its neck, and every head had blood-red eyes.

One of the Three Generals of the Dark Matter Pirates, Melzargard.

"Let's go down and take a look. If there are no issues, start the bombardment immediately."

The head in the middle spoke first, and the other four heads responded one after another.

"I think it's fine."

"Good suggestion."

"Let's do it."

"I don't think it's a good idea."

One head disagreed, but the other four ignored it, so the minority had to yield to the majority.

After a quick sweep, Melzargard felt there were no problems, so he sent out a silent brainwave.

The ship above quickly received the response. Soon after, an unimaginably massive Spaceship emerged over City A.

This Spaceship was dark purple, and its massive size was enough to cover the entire sky over City A, nearly reaching the area of a small to medium-sized country.

Upon receiving Melzargard's response, all the cannons on the bottom of the Spaceship began to charge simultaneously. The overwhelming purple light almost drowned out the world.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

In the next second, all the cannons erupted with destructive energy, and the purple light instantly covered all of City A.

Just as City A was about to be destroyed, two figures floated in the air.

King and Tatsumaki glanced at each other and activated their Psychic Power at the same time. Their similar psychic energies quickly intertwined and merged, forming an even larger ocean of Psychic Power.

Every shell was successfully captured by the Psychic Power at that moment, coming to a halt in mid-air.

Melzargard was stunned. His ten eyes stared at the shells frozen in the sky, his heart filled with shock.

This is Psychic Power... Besides that guy Geryuganshoop, there are actually people on this planet who can master Psychic Power?!

The cannon operators on the Spaceship were also stunned. A pink, three-eyed alien stared blankly at the shells suspended in mid-air:

"Huh? What happened?"

Then, under the combined strength of Tatsumaki and King, the shells flew back at a speed even faster than when they were fired, creating a series of sonic booms in the air.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

Countless shells smashed back into the surface of the Spaceship, instantly creating dents and craters in its hard hull, but overall, it didn't take much damage.

Because this ship was too large—so large that even thousands of shells hitting it back couldn't cause significant damage.

Just then, a yellow figure punched through the ceiling of the Hero Association headquarters and climbed out of the hole, looking at the vast Spaceship with wonder:

"Wow, so these are aliens? They actually know how to fly Spaceships!"

Seeing Saitama appear, King felt a bit more relaxed.

He almost forgot about this Heaven-Defying existence. As long as the Bald Demon King was here, even if a hundred Boros came, they would only end up as dried pineapples.

This time, King didn't plan to let Saitama go and fight Boros. He wanted to experience for himself what it was like to face a Cosmic Overlord.

"Saitama, some ugly but fairly strong monsters might come down later. I'll leave them to you and the other S-Class Heroes."

Of course, mostly to you.

In the original story, only Melzargard came down from the Three Generals, and he held up several S-Class Heroes.

Undoubtedly, if all Three Generals came out at once, the S-Class Heroes would definitely be in for a hard fight—but that was excluding Tatsumaki.

With that proud Psychic Queen up there, the tide of battle would shift drastically.

Saitama scratched his bald head. Although he still wanted to go inside the ship and explore, he chose to stay on the perimeter:

"Alright, but after I deal with these ugly monsters out here, I want to go inside the ship and take a look too."

King gave an OK gesture, then his body turned into a streak of light and soared into the sky, leaving only a sentence echoing in the air:

"I'll leave the Spaceship's cannon fire to you, Tatsumaki. I trust in your strength."

Hearing this, Tatsumaki, who was still using her Psychic Power, suddenly stumbled. She yelled at King as he shot into the sky:

"Who wants your trust?! I could do it anyway! And I definitely will!"

Tatsumaki was so angry her cheeks turned red, and even her features became simplified—she was so annoyed she reverted to her strong character art style.

She raised her hand, and the shells she had previously deflected were used a second time, forming a massive wave of projectiles that smashed back into the Spaceship's surface.

Melzargard finally noticed the presence using Psychic Power—a human girl with curly green hair.

From the looks of it, she must be a human cub of this planet. To think she possesses such formidable strength. Die!

Melzargard's figure flickered, and when he reappeared, he was behind Tatsumaki. His right hand transformed into a sharp blade, slashing down fiercely.

Although it's a pity to kill someone with such powerful Psychic Power, you cannot be used by our Dark Matter Pirates!
