These modified "new humans" under his command were the force he envisioned to overthrow the rule of the old humans.
But why was it that when they merely went out to capture a human with an unusual physical body, they were instantly wiped out?!
Genus's eyes were filled with dense blood vessels; clearly, he refused to believe this outcome.
Previously, after watching the footage of Mosquito Girl's defeat, the first thing Dr. Genus noticed wasn't the terrifyingly powerful KING, but the bald man behind KING.
The instinct of a doctor of genetic research told him that this bald man was absolutely extraordinary.
Sure enough, a few days later, Genus heard that the bald man had actually become an S-Class Hero of the Hero Association.
In order to study Caped Baldy's secrets and achieve further genetic breakthroughs, Genus dispatched the few usable generals under his command to capture the target together.
But what he never expected was that these so-called generals couldn't even last one round before being completely defeated.
Apart from Carnage Kabuto, the strongest Beast King of the entire Evolution House, who was directly punched into minced meat.
Right then, the laboratory door was pushed open, and a clone identical to Genus rushed in, face full of panic:
"Damn it! According to Mechanical Gorilla's intel, S-Class Rank 7 KING and our target are already heading this way!"

He seemed to have made a difficult decision, a drop of cold sweat sliding down his forehead:
"Release Carnage Kabuto!"
The clone turned deathly pale, even more terrified than when the enemies were coming; he flusteredly tried to persuade the original:
"No way! You know Carnage Kabuto's personality flaws; he still can't—"
"Enough!!"
Dr. Genus sharply cut off the clone's words, eyes likewise showing unease:
"I know the consequences of releasing it, but we have no way out, do we?"
"I understand."
After learning the original's thoughts, the clone realized persuasion was futile and simply prepared to go out and convey the order.
Just as he turned around, Dr. Genus spoke again:
"Right, set enough traps on floors one to eight to drain the intruders' stamina and spirit, giving Carnage Kabuto a better fighting advantage!"
"Understood!"
King watched Caped Baldy leap and stay airborne for several minutes, sinking into deep thought.
Was that jumping or flying?
He tried asking Caped Baldy and got only one answer.
Without using psychic powers, how could a human possibly fly?
That was Caped Baldy's idea.
Before reaching the Evolution House, King summoned the system in his mind, and a dark-blue data panel instantly appeared before him.
He wanted to use this time to see which two skills he could draw.

Feeling the warm current inside slowly strengthening his body, King nodded in satisfaction.
As the silhouette of the Evolution House gradually appeared on the horizon, Caped Baldy suddenly remembered something and spoke oddly:
"Where's your robot disciple Genos? Isn't he coming along?"
King said helplessly, "He was wrecked in the fight against the giant and sent back to the original factory for repairs; he can't come for now."

While chatting, the two arrived at the so-called Evolution House.
Looking at the eight-story decrepit building before them, Caped Baldy was about to walk inside when King already punched out.
The air in front condensed into a compressed air cannon under mighty force, shooting out with violent momentum and turning the entire building to dust.
Caped Baldy: "..."
He scratched his smooth head, looking at the vanished building, and weakly complained:
"Isn't that a bit much? They might've set lots of traps waiting for us to challenge."
King withdrew his fist and pointed at the metal hatch that appeared on the empty ground:
"No worries; only traps are above, the real core area is below. Let's go."
Caped Baldy reached out, grabbed the seam of the metal hatch, and with a teeth-aching sound tore the entire door in half.
Gazing into the pitch-black interior, Caped Baldy suddenly felt a spark of interest.
Feels a bit like an adventure—pretty fun; maybe there's an opponent inside who can let me enjoy myself…
