He admitted that all he can recall was when I asked him if the talk I had with Orm was real.
Despite having an excellent memory, sometimes he does get confused from time to time as a result of living for a long time though he does manage to recall the memory after thinking about it for a bit of time.
But since our talk right now might take quite some time and the rest of the pack might be waiting for him in Heph's place as they have no idea where we found the place to stay temporarily until their weapons and armor are done upgrading, it would be better if we just summarize everything as our usual conversation takes quite a long time and it doesn't help that we get distracted too.
I told him that the fake Orm told me everything about the high council in the false reality after he, Sly and Ghost left the castle and didn't came back in which I was depressed since I thought he abandoned me.
He looked horrified about hearing what I said that he immediately interrupted me and assured me that he wouldn't do that and would destroy himself instantly if he even have thoughts about that.
I continued on telling him that the fake Orm told me that everyone is afraid of the high council, that you can be killed without any reason and it would be useless to hide as they can easily find you.
Lion chuckled as he told me that the high council exaggerated some parts as even the real Orm knows that the high council has limits even though they are powerful.
They are powerful since a lot of magic users worked for them, along with some elites with huge influence as what we found about Yilan.
Most of the creatures in the territory that has special abilities and ultimate forms are being recruited by them, creating a rivalry between them and those that worked for the Chieftain Monarch.
Back when we were summoned first together at the palace, everyone was amazed that I'm living with a pack comprising of creatures like them that are protecting me as they are highly in demand as having a special ability, especially magic and having an ultimate form are usually recruited by the palace or the high council. Adding Alpha to the pack is like cherry on the cake as the others are shocked that the heir lowered his pride by joining a pack in which he isn't the leader and not even the primary mate of his mate.
I reminded Lion that Alpha was reluctant to join at first in which we both laughed at the memory.
Lion told me that the ones who made the false reality are trying to scare me though he wasn't sure about the reason why.
Rahab.
Demons loved fear.
I wonder how many demons belonged in the high council?
Lion told me that there is a connection between me and Orm's mother as both of us are rare creatures in which he and Sly realized back at the pleasure house. Sly had told him that I might be a special case since Subus tried to kidnap me again in which she did by manipulating my emotions.
When I told Lion that I can't remember where she transported me, that made Lion suddenly sat up and exclaimed that I might be in another false reality again in which no matter how he and the others tried to find me, even using all kinds of spells that he knows, they can't find me despite all their efforts.
Lion began murmuring to himself, saying that there might be a conspiracy going on in which I'm their main interest.
If he only knew.
I wished I could tell him what I know.

Lion admitted that the rumors were true that a lot of them are practicing forbidden magic, especially dark magic in which a lot of the creatures became afraid of them.
He thanked me for telling him about the obsidian glass as it will definitely help the pack as they might be confronted with them in the future as a lot of the high council members are still on the run.
Suddenly, I remembered the fake Orm telling me that his mother was killed by them and that Yilan couldn't do anything even though he is in a very high ranked position in the territory.
What a lie.
It turns out that Yilan is also one of them. Well, he used to be.
But they managed to copy Orm that I was fooled.
False reality magic is indeed scary.
Lion told me that false reality magic is one of the forbidden magic that if you stayed in one for too long, your mind will eventually believe everything you experienced there to the point that nothing will convince you otherwise.
Like what happened with Orm's mother.
I wonder what happened to me after Subus transported me to a false reality?
I still can't remember.
All I can recall is that the Alpha I met back then is quite different to the Alpha I know and spent time with.
Now I'm confused.
Which one is the real Alpha?
And how did I even met Alpha in the first place?
Though I won't tell Lion about this for now as I might cause trouble and misunderstanding in my confusion.

After I told Lion the rest of my story, he sobbed as he tried to assure me once more that he would not abandon me even if I try to kill him.
That's absurd!
And silly!
I tried hard not to laugh as I can't imagine myself trying to kill him when I'm ready to sacrifice my life for him anytime.
After several moments of Lion crying his eyes out, I finally told him that we are losing precious time as he has to go to Heph's house and I wanted another round of intercourse before he goes so we better finish discussing everything.
Of course, he instantly cheered up and asked me what I want to know.

With a huge sigh, I told him that I asked him what he knows about the high council.
Lion told me that some parts of what the fake Orm told me are true though almost all of it are exaggerated. He admitted that he, Ghost, Orm and Sly are skilled and powerful enough to kill most of them though if they were an ordinary creature or having a subpar ability, they won't survive in a blink.
That made me suspicious why the Chieftain Monarch who was powerful enough can't get rid of them.
I wonder why.
Understandably, almost everyone in the territory are terrified of them.
Lion told me that when he received a summoning scroll back then, he thought it was suspicious as he wasn't connected to them.
Ghost easily panicked back then in which it was a huge mistake as Lion left my side.
Lion told me that everyone avoided them as they performed all sorts of experiments that was questionable until it was discovered that they were also performing horrible experiments towards creatures that are exotic or unique to them. That's the time that almost everyone decided to fight back, including the Chieftain Monarch, though he didn't fight back directly.
Lion began to sob again as he apologized for taking so much time in trying to rescue me back then in which I just kept nodding as I'm already over it.
As I caressed his hair, trying to comfort him, I remembered my conversation with Rahab.
So the council members and some demons are working together.

Lion kissed me on the forehead as he told me that he will be back with the rest of the pack as soon as he can.
He told me that he placed a strong protection magic around the house, assuring me that nobody can get inside the house until he comes back.
I snuggled on the bed as I was feeling a bit tired as instead of having a second round of intercourse before he goes to Heph's house, we had 4 rounds of intercourse despite me telling him that the rest of the pack has waited for him for quite some time. Lion wanted to have another round again in which I complained that I'm feeling a bit hungry that he hurriedly changed into his clothes as his face looks happy hearing me wanting to eat.
Finally Lion left, giving me some time alone to think.
He didn't tell me much about the high council but I finally made the connection between them and the demons.
So, to summarize it:
The experiments happened before me as Orm's mother was a victim.
All of the victims were rare or exotic, making me think that they are looking for something specific from them as the experiments never stopped, in which I was the final victim before most of them got killed.
There were presence of demons during the experiment based on my conversation with Rahab.
As demons are not supposed to be here in this world as they lived in another dimension, it made me think that they might be looking for something.
They were actively participating during the experiments that made me realize that they were the ones who are instigating the experiments themselves. The creatures and beings who are living this world are not that malicious or desperate enough to create a huge plan like that.
How desperate these demons are that they made a huge conspiracy in the territory?
What are they looking for.....

Oh, my goodness.
They are looking for a being like me.
As back in my previous world, demons are known to be always craving for humans as they are their source of food and power.
Huh.
So that's why I kept having unfortunate things that happened to me.
Besides fear, demons are sustained by negative human emotions like anger, sorrow, despair and pain.
Despite having so many creatures and beings capable of having the same emotions, it's different when it comes to humans.
Humans are like ambrosia to them.
My body began to shake when I recalled the time back at the snowy mountains that I felt someone was watching me.
I'm scared.
They know everything about me as they already know what is inside my mind.
Though they still have a lot to learn as the demons here doesn't know that humans are capable of changing their character and especially their way of thinking.
Which is more dangerous.
But not all demons are alike since there is a huge difference between the demons we fought back in the snowy mountains and with Rahab.
To my horror, I realized that Rahab is only a general in the Netherworld. He mentioned that he wanted a rank greater than being a general.
Demons have noble titles too such as a lord, for example. The highest rank that they can have is being a demon lord.
Rahab is only a general yet he can already cause massive destruction.
The lesser demons that we faced are already hard for the pack to fight with despite having an ultimate form and special abilities.
This world is in trouble.

But who is leading them?
I remembered Rahab mentioning back then that he wasn't able to copulate with me as he was being sent out on a task.
Then someone who has higher rank than him is here on this world. I'm not sure yet if that demon who has higher rank than him is at the territory or somewhere else.
Now I have a headache thinking about all of these.
Curses.
Now I also remembered that Subus teleported me to another false reality after being rescued and she is also a high council member in which....
Oh, heavens!
A higher ranked demon must have discovered about me as Subus was sent out to get me through I have a feeling that Subus is a lower ranked demon but I'm not sure yet.
But that higher ranked demon was not available during the experiment or I would've been stuck there in which Lion and the others couldn't rescued me. Nor was Rahab as he mentioned that he was sent out on a task though he did saw some of the experiments they did on me.
I should calm down. All my thoughts are all over the place. But I got the hang on what's happening.
But I don't think they are after my life as I'm the only human here.
Which made it worse.
As death is not my ending or they will lose a valuable food source.

I should think about this in another day or else Lion will panic again if he finds me shaking uncontrollably.
But the important thing is that I finally somehow understood what's happening.
It's unfortunate that I was pulled into this.
The main characters of the fantasy books that I used to read about know everything at once, including the plot.
Me? I have to learn everything bit by bit, experiencing all sorts of horrible stuff and using my brains before knowing a part of the plot.
Ah.
The Fates must've hated me.
Though I'm not sure if they existed on this world.
I should take a nap to calm my nerves.

I woke up with a fright in which I'm still alone in the house.
How long was I asleep?
I had a nightmare again.
But I don't remember what it was all about.
I must've tossed and turned during my sleep as some of my bandages are a bit loose in which several of my wounds started to bleed again.
My legs and ankles are throbbing again. Lion helped me drink some potions earlier that managed the pain but now it seems that it is starting to wear off.
I do hope he comes back soon.

I heard someone talking in which when I opened my eyes, it was Lion who was talking with Sly and Alpha.
My bandages were changed and there is a piece of wet cloth on my forehead. I'm being covered with a blanket and it feels really cosy though I want someone beside me.
I'm hungry.
In a soft voice, I called Lion in which they all turned to look at me and hurriedly sat down on the bed, asking me all sorts of stuff in which I gave them a smile.
Where is Orm and Ghost?
They must have known what I was thinking as they immediately told me that both of them are cooking something for me.
Just then, Orm and Ghost went inside, carrying all sorts of food in which I told them that we should all eat together.
Lion positioned me sitting on his lap after which he told the rest of the pack to start eating while he began feeding me. It was fun looking at everyone eating and talking. I looked at them fondly in which I vowed deep in my heart that I will try my best to find a way to protect them from what's currently happening in the territory in which they have no idea yet and I can't tell them because of Rahab's spell.
Lion nuzzled me on my ear as he apologized to me for returning late as he had a difficult conversation with Heph earlier.
That's weird. He was in a good mood when I was...

Sigh.
Sly noticed me sighing in which he moved closer to me and told me that Heph told them that he wants fire crystals in return for making them mythical weapons and armors or something else.

Seeing the look on Lion's face confirmed my guess.
It's either the fire crystals or adding him to my harem.
I'm still stunned by the reality of having a harem.

I gave them an angry look as I told them that we should leave right now and get that blasted fire crystals, making them roar with laughter.
Lion embraced me tightly as he laughed, telling me that though they knew what my answer is, it felt good hearing it from me.
