PUT ME DOWN!!! I screamed at the pervert (I seriously considered calling that as his name) as I tried to push him away.
I DON'T care if I get injured as long as I can get away from this maniac.
He just laughed as he flew outside the cave.
Now I can't get down.
I held on to his neck tightly as he began to fly higher into the sky.
I saw Lion who immediately stood up when he saw me, began to fly towards us with fury in his eyes.
Sly transformed to his dragon self and went after us with Ghost on his back.
We flew higher and higher until we reached one of the highest peaks of the mountains.
There he stood at the top, looking at me with a mixture of amusement and fondness in his eyes.
He told me that he meant what he said earlier that he wanted me to be his mate.
What?
I told him that I already have a mate and didn't we just meet recently?
He laughed and told me that it didn't matter if we met recently or had known each other for a long time. He just knew that he wanted me.
What a cheesy line.
But I feel flattered. Just a tiny bit.
He began to look serious and told me that I should be careful around this place, especially as we are going towards the cave where the magic stone is hidden.
He continued telling me that he lives in this parts but avoided that certain area since there are many wild creatures hidden there that not many are familiar with.
I sighed and thanked him. I was about to ask him another question when he tried to kiss me.
Why that sicko!
I tried squirming and kicking him when suddenly Lion landed with a crash in front of us. He had a bloodthirsty look in his eyes. The katana he is holding is emitting purple flames.
I can feel the pervert's hold on me begin to tighten.
Oh for goodness sake.
Why is it always me?
I don't want situations like this.
The pervert began to speak in a language that I don't understand while Lion replied to him in a hostile voice.
Their voices became more louder and more hostile, with Pervert sneering at Lion as Lion clenched the katana.
Ghost soon landed with a crash besides Lion and took out his axe.
Then Sly landed behind Lion, transformed into his regular form and started to speak to the pervert in a voice that barely covered his fury.
The pervert and Sly looked at each other with hostility.
I have a feeling that they knew each other.
While the pervert was distracted with Sly, I suddenly gave a push using all my strength and fell down on the ground.
The pervert looked at me with a flirtatious smile and told me not to forget what he said. Then suddenly he flew up and transformed into a massive ice dragon. He glanced at me before flying away.
Good riddance.
Lion ran towards me and carried me into his arms, nuzzling and squeezing me tight as he gave a huge sigh of relief.
I was curious about something so I asked Sly if he and the pervert knew each other.
It turns out that the pervert is his older half-brother.

His older half-brother lives around this place.
He was missing for a very long time that turned out that he was cursed by one of the dead harpies.
During the confrontation earlier, he told Lion about the shortcut but not before he taunted him about what he said to me inside the cave.
I shrugged and told Lion that I'm already his mate so there's nothing he can do about it, right?
Lion suddenly became silent.
He didn't talk for a long time.
Now I'm curious but I think I'll ask Puma about it when we get back.

We finally arrived.
The cave is located at one of the highest mountains on the ground. The magic stone is located deep inside the mountain.
We got down and started to remove some layers of coats as we felt a sudden rise in temperature at the entrance of the cave.
While the pack tried to find ways to hide our sleigh and things, I slowly walked towards the entrance of the cave and touched the wall.
I can feel goosebumps on my skin. My instinct seems to tell me that something is waiting for us down there along with the magic stone.
I must be brave.
I will try my best to survive and protect Lion and my friends.
We can do this.

Inside the cave was a twisted maze of dark stone and hideous looking fungi that glowed.
The air smells like rot and it started to become dark the further we went down the cave.
Lion and Ghost are in the front while Orm and I are walking behind them. Sly and Alpha are behind us, glancing around as we can feel some sort of presence lurking behind the shadows.
I did not expect to be in this situation. Based on the fantasy books I read, there is always something that will happen when you are inside a dark and spooky cave.
My legs are starting to shake but I pretended to be fine so I will not be a burden to others.
The darkness seemed to envelop us the further we went but it doesn't seem to bother them except me. I unconsciously held Orm's hand, who doesn't seem to mind.
I can hear echoes of dripping water from the ceiling in which Lion signaled for us to stop.
I can barely see through the darkness as Sly said that it is risky to bring a light as we may attract enemies.
I don't know whether I wanted to see through the dark or not.
It is quiet. Too quiet.
Something dripped on my cheek so I tried to wipe it away.
It smelled a little too familiar for my own good.
With a bad feeling, I tried to look at my hand and saw blood.
Everyone noticed that I began to shake uncontrollably that Sly decided to use a small magical device that emits light.
What we saw is definitely out of a fantasy horror movie.
There's pools of blood everywhere, bones and body parts splattered on the walls and the floor of the cave.
I tried not to look up but to my own foolishness, I looked up and regretted it immediately.
A creature's mangled head is staring back at me, pierced through the stalactite directly above me.
