I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I'm inside a small wooden hut.
There's a small fire burning in the middle of the hut.
I found myself lying on several rugs, my arms wrapped in bandages.
I raised my hand to touch my face and there's a small, sticky paste on my cheek. My forehead is also wrapped in bandages.

But honestly, I feel a bit better now that I've rested.
I smiled to myself, feeling like a heroine for the first time in my life.
Is this why everyone wants to be the hero? This exhilarating feeling?

I was about to stand up when I looked down and saw that I have no clothes on.

I hurriedly covered myself with one of the rugs when suddenly, a creature came inside from one of the curtains.
The creature is so hideous looking, hair covering its entire body with only eyes, a warty nose and mouth peeking out from its head. There's a pointy tail peeking out from behind its backside. It has an extremely thin set of extremities that looked like they can easily break if you hold it.
It grinned at me and I seriously had goosebumps all over my body.
It told me that it was him (surprisingly, it is a male not a neutral) who treated my injuries. He wanted me to thank him for saving my life.
To be honest, I'm feeling quite grateful. I was about to thank him when he added, saying that seeing my naked body is already a huge thanks.
Why, that pervert!
I yelled at him, about to seriously snap his extremities when everyone went inside.
Lion hurriedly sat down beside me, about to ask me what was wrong when he saw me covering myself with one of the rugs, with no clothes underneath.
Suddenly, everyone became quiet.
Lion slowly stood up, smiled at me and told me that he is going to take care of something.
He glanced at everyone, who followed him outside as he dragged the creature by its hair.
I can hear someone screaming outside the hut.

I thought that perverted situations like this happens only in anime or graphic novels as some people find this kind of situation funny.

He continued to make all sorts of sexual advances at me while we are staying at his hut, as we waited for the snow storm to die down.
Everyone took turns at beating him but he still find it quite funny. I'm curious to why his extremely thin extremities hasn't been snapped into two yet.
Lion is seriously considering about killing him when the creature told him that he knows a shorter way to get to the magic stone.
Now everyone regretted hearing that as we can't beat him anymore as all of us are tired of travelling in the cold.

I pretended not to see him when he suddenly turned himself into a small version of himself and landed on my shoulder.
At this point, my patience finally snapped and I shot him with the pistol, using the first attack.

Ghost started protesting when Lion made him in charge of watching the creature.
Sly started snickering when Lion saw him and made him take turns with Ghost in watching the creature.
Alpha just shook his head while Orm gave the creature a deathly stare.
The creature finally started behaving.
Everyone is sleeping as Lion and I went outside the hut to sit on the sleigh. He wrapped a rug around us, keeping us warm while watching the night sky.
He nuzzled me on my neck, embracing me by my waist and gave me small kisses on my cheek.
Thank goodness that the injuries did not leave any scars.
He then told me what happened after their senses came back.
Everyone groaned as if they just woke up from a trance. They were surprised seeing themselves being tied up together with the end of the rope tied on the sleigh.
Lion told me that he was surprised seeing so many dead harpies surrounding them. He began to panic, as I was not there beside him. There's not a lot of creatures who managed to survive an attack from a harpy, much less 28 of them and not using any strong magic.
He then told me that he immediately sliced the rope using his weapon and got out of the sleigh, trying to find me when he saw me lying on the ground, just a bit farther from the sleigh.
He hurriedly went towards me and his heart sank as he saw me with so many injuries. He told me that he was beginning to lose his mind with panic when he saw me bloodied and wounded.
He then began to embrace me tighter as he told me that he is afraid of losing me as I am his life, his joy and his purpose.
I held his face and looked at him in the eye as I told him that he has my heart and that I will do everything what I can to protect him, even if I'm not strong or I don't have any magic.
I then told him that I loved him.
His eyes looked at me with so much love that I began to feel a surge of emotion. I then pulled his neck gently and kissed him passionately. He kissed me back with intense hunger as he slowly lifted me up and placed me on his lap, facing me towards him.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held me tightly around my waist. We shared a deep kiss, slowly intertwining our tongues together as we crave each other's body, feeling the need to connect to each other's soul.
I pulled back and made a vow to him, telling him that ever since I first saw him, he already captured my heart. I vowed to love him with every breath that I take, through happiness and sorrow, through joy and in pain.
I promised him that I will cherish him, support him and stand beside him, until the end of my days (he has an indescribable look on his face at this part).
I softly told him that he's my forever home and my partner in adventure. I promised to love him, to hold him close and to treasure him, now and forever.
Tears fell down from his eyes as he listened to me. He embraced me tightly as he began to sob.

It turns out that the creature wanted to get something from a cave.
I sarcastically told him why he can't do it by himself when he can turn himself small.
He then began to look serious, telling us that someone without magic can only be the one getting it as not to attract the attention from the unknown.
Oh, he means me specifically. That I should be the one getting it. By myself.
I started to face my pistol at him when he added frantically that he is going to give me something for my troubles.
Also, he told me that there is no other creature in the cave and that it is safe for me to go inside. He will accompany me though.
Lion began to sharpen his katana when the creature hurriedly promised him that he would not touch me, as long as I can get the item.
I decided to bring the pistol and the baton with me. Just in case.

The cave is gorgeous.
It looks like we are on another world.
It sounds peaceful, except for the constant dripping of water from the stalactites that hang from the cave ceiling.
I expected the cave to be dark but surprisingly, it has a soft glow of light coming from somewhere that painted the walls an unearthly shade of blue that sparkles.
My footsteps echoed through the cave as I walked towards the area where the creature told me to go as he sat on my shoulder.
Inside one of the caverns was a small, shallow body of water in which, in the middle of it is a floating ice blue crystal that sparkles.
I asked the creature if it is safe to get it.
He shrugged at first then began to fervently nod as I was about to remove the baton from my belt.
I slowly approached the crystal and held it then it began to shine brightly.
The creature and the crystal began to disappear and suddenly, an extremely handsome, tall creature stood in front of me.
He had pointed ears, dragon horns in front of his head, well toned body with some scales in some places and thankfully, he wore some pants and boots on his feet.
He had short white hair, crystal blue eyes and a magic tattoo on one of his shoulders.
I suspiciously asked him if he is that pervert creature.
He laughed and whispered to my ear, asking me if I like what I just saw right now.
I felt myself beginning to flush and he just grinned at me.
He told me that he was cursed by one of the harpies that I killed the other day.
So, there's no need for me to come here after all, I angrily told him as I am about to pull my pistol.
He laughed as he gently held my hand and told me that he saw me killing those harpies and was amazed by my strength and determination to protect my companions.
He told me that he wanted me to be his mate when he saw the mark I have on my chest.
He smiled and looked at me, desire in his eyes, telling me that he would be waiting for me.
In your dreams! I snapped at him, beginning to leave towards the exit when he suddenly carried me and told me he is serious and that no matter how long it will take, he will wait for me.
I sighed.
What a stubborn creature.
He kissed me on the forehead and begin to fly towards the exit.
