Chapter 12 - we have to

She replied, "To my house."

He looked at her. "Why?"

"Because there's a weapon upstairs for my brother, and he has bullets and money if we want to escape from here."

"Where's the boss anyway? Isn't he upstairs?"

She said, sobbing bitterly. "No, he went to work and hasn't come back, and he's not answering." The neighbor looked at Amir in silence, as if contemplating something that shouldn't be said. He gave him that look no one wanted to see, as if to say, "Who should tell her that no one outside can survive?"

But to anyone who saw her gaze, she was screaming that she knew the truth.

But the shock came when Amir tried to reassure her.

"Don't worry, the boss, Rayan, is definitely still alive, and most likely if anyone is safe, it's the police station. With all these weapons, I don't think anything will happen to them."

The neighbor continued, looking towards the balcony.

"My name is Malik, by the way, and I moved here to the tower last month.

I wish I had stayed somewhere else." The old days. But nobody knows what might have happened.

Amir got up and turned on the TV. The volume was too loud, and then they heard a knock on the door.

Mary yelled at him, "Turn the volume down!" Amir went to look through the peephole. The man was walking away, but there was no doubt he was dead.

The neighbor replied, "That's what happened to my friend." After his throat was cut and he was drained of blood, he got up, his appearance changed, and walked. He was alive.

And I think they are drawn to the sound, which is what makes him want to go inside.

There was important news on TV, and Mary silently pointed to the screen. It was a message telling all survivors to head to the hill near the army.

The hill was at least an hour and a half away on foot, and everyone looked at it with doubt, wondering if that was the way to escape.

Mary looked at them.

"My car is downstairs. All you need are the keys from upstairs."

Amir looked at Malik with a look of agreement.

The TV message continued, saying that the only way to get rid of those with head injuries was to leave them alone.

Everyone looked at each other, then their gaze turned towards the door where the shapeshifting man's body lay before them.

Amir went to the kitchen, handing each of them a knife and anything else that could be used for protection.

Mary and Malik each took a knife, and Malik suggested wrapping their bodies in cloth or something to prevent injuries. The possibility

Amir gave them some sheets to cut and wrap around themselves.

Everyone stood ready to confront him in front of the house door. Amir looked around.

"Get ready, three of you. Push towards the stairs and run towards the elevator."

Everyone nodded in agreement, their faces filled with terror.

Amir shouted, "Delwat!" and opened the door. Malik came out to carry out their plan as agreed. Because Malik was a bit heavy, he would push the man away. Then Mary would go to the elevator to open it, and Amir would attack the man's head.

And indeed, while Malik was pushing him away, Mary screamed across the hallway, and Amir jumped on his head, but the knife didn't penetrate his skull and landed on the back of his neck.

Meanwhile, Mary's hand didn't stop pressing the elevator buttons to get it down. Then everyone heard the man's head hit the ground, a sign of terror and relief that they would be saved.

But the shock came as soon as the elevator opened. They found a man Another dead man was standing there, and one of the neighbors of the sportsman was a large man.

Mary screamed. "Another one!"

Malik and Amir turned towards him.

Knowing that the same plan wouldn't work. No matter how valuable Malik's wealth, it wouldn't budge that mountain of muscle an inch.

All those thoughts were happening in a split second. And indeed, the bull started moving outside the elevator. Amir's door was still open.

Amir was thinking of going back home, but the bull didn't give them time to think, and Mary was already far from the door. The bull charged, showing no sign of anything other than attacking Amir.

Perhaps it was because his left eye didn't see Mary, who wasn't that tall, or because she hadn't let out that scream a moment ago—the same scream Amir had given with his second leap, hitting the man's head and severing it as he yelled, "Die, you sons of bitches!"

The bull charged at him, and Malik jumped out of his way. Amir had no choice but to step aside. There was a bag on the floor under their feet, which didn't give the giant a chance to slow down before he entered Amir's house. Amir took advantage of this and locked the door.

Before the shock could subside, Mary shouted, "Here, come on!" and everyone ran inside. The Elevator

It was both funny and sad when the elevator started working and that song played:

"Everything Gonna Be Alright."

Mary gasped, her voice filled with anguish, and then laughter erupted among them, including Mary, who couldn't contain her hysterical laughter.

It was a moment of dark comedy.

It ended with the elevator doors opening in Mary's apartment.

Silence fell, and everyone looked around. Amir came out, looking around. There was no one there.

They went outside, there was no one there.

Everyone quietly left, and Mary hurried to the door and opened it.

They entered quietly.

"Wait here for a second."

They fell silent and watched her hurry away, while Amir looked at some photos of her as a child with her family.

Malik looked around and saw many medals and other certificates of appreciation. Then he looked at Amir, who was silently focused on a photo of Mary on the table. Malik knew that these weren't just casual glances into the house, but he didn't say a word.

Mary came out with several weapons.

She looked like she'd stepped out of an action movie.

She gave each of them a gun.

Malik looked at Amir and noticed the shock on their faces.

"Imagine any of you, the sister of a police officer!"

"Look, when you shoot, put your hand under the trigger like this to balance the gun."

Malik replied, "I've never shot a human being with a gun before."

She responded,

"And I..." Also

Everyone fell silent for a moment, looking at Amir.

"Of course I've never hit anyone before. Is that even a question?"

Mary went to the balcony, looking at the street, which had become like something out of a horror movie.

Every minute, she heard someone scream for help, but there was no response, and then silence fell as an answer to their cries.

She turned around, tears welling in her eyes.

"It's impossible for us to get down. They're everywhere."

Malik and Amir looked at the street, and silence fell.

But everyone was surprised when a person from the building opposite came out with his family and headed towards his car. But the scene turned from one of encouragement to one of horror when the baby screamed, and the undead rushed towards them. The father, mother, and two children went to the car, but as soon as they started moving, the street filled with the undead heading towards the car, and the car stopped, much to Mary's surprise.

"Why aren't they moving?" Everyone was shocked by a tremor in the car, and then the mother emerged, one of the undead.

Everyone knew what had happened. For the rest

Malik looked around and turned away

I can't do that, I'm sorry, I can't
