Three Days Later

New YorkAssassin Guild Headquarters

Inside the conference room, Fox began her report.

"According to the latest intelligence, after we eliminated six High Table Elders and the forces backing them, the enemy's overall strength has been greatly weakened. At present, the factions that once upheld the High Table's authority have begun turning on the remaining Elders."

"At the same time, when we issued a final ultimatum to the other six Elders, they chose to dissolve the High Table."

"Additionally, thanks to John Wick's connections, several Continental Hotel managers—including those from the New York Continental, the Osaka Continental, and the Monaco Continental—have expressed interest in joining us."

Hearing this, Smith Doyle asked with curiosity,"The New York Continental?"

Fox explained,"Winston's daughter has inherited the New York Continental. Also, two days ago, John Wick killed the High Table Adjudicator who was punishing him."

Smith Doyle glanced sideways at John Wick, who was seated outside the conference table.

After returning to New York, John Wick had handed over the Dragon Balls to the Assassin Guild, then immediately tracked down the Adjudicator responsible for Winston's punishment and killed him in revenge.

Smith Doyle pondered for a moment before asking,"What do you think about the Continental Hotels?"

Wesley spoke first."I believe platforms designed purely for assassins are no longer necessary."

John Wick followed up calmly,"With the collapse of the High Table, the Continentals can no longer uphold their rules. At the same time, some of their people are willing to change careers and become executives within the Assassin Guild."

After John Wick finished speaking, everyone turned to Smith Doyle. How this matter would be resolved depended entirely on his decision.

Smith Doyle tapped the table lightly. After two seconds of silence, he said:

"The Continental Hotels possess outstanding intelligence networks, weapons manufacturing capabilities, and body armor technology. Therefore, I hereby notify all Continental Hotels that the Assassin Guild will take them over immediately."

"All Continentals will be converted into Assassin Guild offices. Current managers will be evaluated—those who pass will be recruited, those who fail will be eliminated."

"As for the rebels…""They will be dealt with in the same manner as the High Table."

Hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement.

"Yes, God."

Smith Doyle continued,"The Assassin Guild has achieved complete victory in this operation, but we have also suffered considerable losses."

"Furthermore, with the dissolution of the High Table, the underground world will inevitably fall into chaos."

"Next, the Assassin Guild will enter a period of rest and recovery. We will closely monitor the situation and eliminate anyone who causes trouble."

After saying this, Smith Doyle turned his gaze to John Wick.

"John Wick, after everything you've experienced, has your wish changed?"

John Wick stood up and replied solemnly,"My God, my wish has never wavered."

Smith Doyle nodded."In that case, John Wick—and everyone else—we will head out to sea and help John Wick fulfill his wish."

Everyone responded in unison,"Yes."

Everyone present already knew about the Dragon Balls through Fox and Wesley. Of course, Smith Doyle had deliberately ordered them to disclose the matter, and only senior leadership was authorized to know.

Most people had a general idea of John Wick's wish. Although some did not understand why the leader allowed him to make it, they respected Smith Doyle's decision.

The High Seas

A vessel converted from a decommissioned destroyer sailed across international waters.

Kross looked at Smith Doyle and asked,"Can those things really grant wishes?"

Smith Doyle nodded."You'll see it with your own eyes very soon."

Kross scratched his head and muttered softly,"Why not choose to prevent the birth of evil in the world?"

Smith Doyle sized him up from head to toe. He hadn't expected such a wish, but he still explained:

"The Dragon Balls are not omnipotent. Wherever there are humans, evil will be born—especially with newborn life."

"New life brings new ideas. Light and darkness. Good and evil."

Upon realizing that such a wish could not be granted, Kross sighed, disappointment flickering across his face. It seemed he was destined to remain a hardworking man. He simply hoped there would be less crime in the world.

As for the Dragon Balls and wishes, he had no desire of his own.

After sailing for some time, Smith Doyle gathered everyone on the deck.

He placed all seven Dragon Balls on the deck and shouted loudly before everyone:

"Come forth, Shenron!"

As the words left his mouth, the Dragon Balls burst into golden light that shot straight into the sky. The previously clear night sky instantly turned pitch-black, and the pillar of golden light transformed into a massive green dragon.

At the sight of the dragon, everyone except Smith Doyle was stunned—even John Wick, the man about to make a wish.

When they first heard it was a divine dragon, they had imagined something like a winged lizard, a so-called dragon of hope. Instead, what appeared before them was an Eastern dragon. Its colossal form coiling through the sky left everyone speechless.

"Th-this… this is a dragon."

"My God… this is unbelievable."

"It's a dragon. It's incredible."

At that moment, a cold voice echoed from the dragon's mouth:

"Human who has summoned me, I shall grant you any wish."

Smith Doyle gazed at the dragon in the sky, wondering whether this would attract unwanted attention. To avoid complications, he had deliberately chosen not to summon it at the textile factory.

There's also resurrection involved… I wonder if a Goddess of Death exists in this world, he thought.

Silence fell over the deck. Everyone's eyes—including the dragon's—focused on Smith Doyle.

After a brief pause, Smith Doyle said:

"John Wick, tell the dragon your wish."

John Wick stepped forward. Facing the dragon soaring above him, he knelt on one knee and said:

"Great Shenron, I humbly ask you to revive my wife, Helen."

At his words, a red light flashed in the dragon's eyes.

"Your wish has been granted."

In the next instant, a figure appeared on the deck.

It was Helen—John Wick's deceased wife.

Seeing the dead truly return to life, everyone present finally understood the dragon's overwhelming power.

Moments later, the dragon vanished into the sky, transforming once more into seven Dragon Balls that scattered across the world.
