Three days later, Jack received a message from Pierce.
"My Lord, we failed. According to the meeting results, a saturated missile strike will be carried out on the park at midnight tonight."
Hearing this, Jack replied nonchalantly, "Fine, I understand."
Jack immediately ordered the Widows to evacuate everyone along with all research facilities.
No one hesitated. Everyone left at once.
Although the park housed a large amount of expensive laboratory equipment, to Jack it was all small change.
Dr. Connors wanted to ask a few questions, but Jack pulled him aside and whispered something in his ear.
After learning it would be a full missile carpet-bombing, Connors instantly reversed his previous stance of refusing to leave even if it meant death.
"Boss… can I leave first?"
Jack: "..."
That night, Jack sat on the roof of the park, watching dozens of missiles streak toward him. He pressed the button in his hand.
The missiles struck the park one after another, each impact producing a massive shockwave. Dozens of shockwaves sent Jack flying back and forth like a ragdoll.
Soon, silence returned to the park.
Jack crawled out of the ruins, having successfully achieved the title of Missile Survivor, and casually brushed the dust off his clothes.
"My clothes are barely dirty. After getting blown away so many times, I'm still perfectly fine."
Jack jumped onto a partially destroyed building and scanned the surroundings, searching for the "big mushroom" that the Japanese had once lived with so intimately.
Suddenly, in the dead of night, the sun came on shift.
An indescribable point of light expanded instantly, swallowing his entire field of vision. The pure brightness made it impossible to open one's eyes. The sky was illuminated, and the entire state of New York lit up.
Time seemed to freeze.
For nearly a minute, absolute silence reigned—as if the world's mute button had been pressed.
Then Jack heard an extremely sharp, high-pitched explosion, followed by a gentle breeze roughly equivalent to a level four or five wind.
That night, the entire state of New York collectively saw their ancestors at a certain military base.
A few minutes later, the temporary sun departed in a hurry, and the moon reclaimed the sky.
The darkness around the crescent moon seemed to have been scrubbed clean.
"Waku waku… nuclear bombs really are fierce."
"I kind of want another one."
Jack forcibly suppressed the urge to detonate more big fireworks. He took out the nuclear weapon controller and locked all nuclear weapons worldwide—the kind that could not be detonated no matter what.
"What wild ambition. The number of nuclear bombs isn't even negative two."
Jack restrained himself. After all, there were still many Chinese people who hadn't evacuated.
(When I visited relatives in the Northeast, I learned that many uncles and aunts go to Japan and Korea to work. They really suffer to earn money—half the people in some towns rely on working there.)
There was no rush. This giant firecracker was merely a warning to the United States.
Locking nuclear weapons was also a contribution to world peace.
Jack waited on-site for the Red Room to retrieve him.
Ten minutes later, Red Room personnel arrived, picked him up, and headed back.
Jack didn't care about the aftermath of the nuclear blast. He simply called Pierce and instructed, "Proceed according to plan."
Inside the Red Room, Jack watched the news with Wanda sitting in his lap.
On the broadcast, the military spokesperson described last night's nuclear explosion as a routine nuclear test, stating that there were no casualties. The destroyed military base was said to be abandoned, and operations had already been relocated.
Public concern was minimal. Aside from a few unlucky nearby individuals, there were reportedly no casualties.
Correct—no casualties.
Without records, social security numbers, or official documentation, how do you prove those soldiers even existed? Just family photos and crying children?
Inside the White House in Washington, the current U.S. President hung up the phone, exhausted. A twenty-year-old secretary, hidden by the chair, began massaging his tired body.
"Mia, if it weren't for you, I might die of exhaustion."
The President pressed the obstruction against his face and took a deep, greedy breath.
"My Lord President is too kind. I'm just a weak woman. All I can do is help you relax."
"You work so hard for the country every day… sometimes I think we should hire more secretaries to help you relax."
The old President shook his head. "You're the best. I couldn't handle any more."
"Oh, you're so naughty~"
…
When the nuclear bomb exploded, presidents around the world were just as busy—though for most of them, it was daytime.
While everyone publicly accepted the U.S. explanation, no country truly believed it. Troops worldwide were mobilized, preparing for a war that could break out at any moment.
Even among ordinary civilians in Europe and the U.S., many began digging underground shelters.
City dwellers packed their belongings and fled to mountainous areas.
The entire world fell into panic.
…
Half a year later, the park Jack established in Russia was finally completed.
At the same time, Helen Zhao's Cradle of Life was also finished.
However, its capabilities were still limited and couldn't compare to the Healing Serum successfully developed by Dr. Curt Connors.
The Cradle of Life focused mainly on injury treatment, while the Healing Serum specialized in limb regeneration.
Its effectiveness on uterine repair was still lacking.
At this moment, Jack quietly woke up in an unknown dormitory and checked the system.

[Hundred Refinements to God: 96/100]
Jack's focus was mainly on Hundred Refinements to God. Because he frequently dual-cultivated with Wanda and others, even after half a year in the Red Room, he had only reached over ninety.
Compared to those "many kids, many blessings" monsters, he was still a small witch.
Tonight, Wanda was heading to Sokovia to inspect the new Sokovia.
Jack had already selected his targets for tonight's Hundred Refinements.
Facing invitations from four people at once, he had even planned the banquet items in advance.
"Wife, stay safe."
Wanda punched him lightly in annoyance. "You stay here and pay off the debts you owe before I come back."
Jack watched Wanda leave. Looking at the various beauties behind him, he felt a headache coming on.
He could only scream internally:
System, you've really fucked me over this time.
