Chapter 90: Just Parasites
"What...what are you planning to do by infiltrating this school?"
Izumi Shinichi raised his right hand and asked the new female teacher, though his tone was slightly timid; the horror of the parasites had clearly left a deep impression on him.
"Plan?" The beautiful, long-haired teacher remained expressionless, even when asking a question.
"I just want a peaceful life. Although I have a lot to say to you, this is clearly not a good place."
After looking around, the beautiful teacher said, "Come find me after school, and we'll talk things out."
"Okay," Migi readily agreed.
Izumi Shinichi complained, "Don't just agree on your own." His right hand really liked making decisions independently.

"Are you kidding me?" Izumi Shinichi scratched his hair with his left hand in frustration.
It seemed that ever since Jake appeared, there had been almost no good news around him. Man-eating monsters, his right hand being eaten, and even a monster growing in his hand—now even his teacher was one of these monsters!
"We should go."
"What if it's a trap?" Izumi Shinichi looked at his right hand, not believing it could handle multiple parasites.
"The existence of someone like that really surprised me. To have one's brain taken over and still survive without any problems using one's original identity, and even teach human knowledge as a teacher—that's truly astonishing. So I want to understand her better," Migi listed a whole bunch of reasons. "Besides, we can inform Jake. With him around, you don't need to worry about your safety at all."

"Who wants it to turn into that!" Shinichi finally looked up, retorting unhappily.
Migi nodded seriously. "I haven't tried it yet. Maybe it's a good idea."
"Migi!!"
As was Jake's habit, staying at the most luxurious hotel in any new world was a given. However, Murano Satomi insisted he stay overnight, so without the Murano family's knowledge, Jake became a secret boyfriend.
You can imagine Shinichi's reaction when he found out Jake was already staying at the house of the girl he liked.
Inside the aquarium, Izumi Shinichi and Jake walked forward one after the other.
"What do you want from me?" Shinichi asked, looking at Ryoko Tamiya standing about a meter in front of him.
"Did you bring a new friend?" she glanced at Jake. "I also brought some others."
At that moment, Migi was already warning them, "There are two more like me, about ten meters away."
In the distance, a tall, handsome high school student and a policeman walked up to Ryoko Tamiya.
"Just one meter away!"
"I can already see them," Shinichi retorted. The two were already standing right in front of him, a meter away.
"Let me introduce you. This is Hideo Shimada," Ryoko Tamiya gestured to the tall, handsome high school student. "You're both students, you should have something in common."
"And this is…" she pointed to the man in the police uniform, about to introduce him, but was interrupted.
"I don't need to tell them my name."
"Then let's call him Mr. A."
The atmosphere at the meeting of the five people and one parasite-hand was extremely strange. Apart from Jake's indifference and Izumi Shinichi's fear, the rest of the faces were emotionless.
"This is Izumi Shinichi-kun," Tamiya Ryoko pointed to Izumi Shinichi, then pointed to his right hand. "This is Migi."
Shimada Hideo took a step forward, a fake smile on his face. "It really is parasitized on the arm." He stared at Migi. "Interesting."
"I'm not an exhibit," Migi retorted calmly.
Parasites have no emotions; they speak more to obtain information and protect themselves.
"So, sir, who are you?" Tamiya Ryoko looked at Jake, and at the same time, the other two parasites also stared at Jake.
"Simply put, I'm a human, and also your food," Jake shrugged indifferently. There was really nothing to say to the parasites.
"A human, huh? Just kill him," Mr. A announced Jake's fate.
He then stepped forward to kill Jake.
However, he was stopped by Tamiya Ryoko. There were too many people here; killing them all was impossible. They could only stay out of sight.
Tamiya Ryoko didn't object to Jake's death. In her view, someone who knew the secrets of their kind deserved to die, but the place to kill Jake couldn't be in a crowded area.
Afterward, the parasites and humans interacted tensely. Tamiya Ryoko bluntly stated that she wanted to observe Izumi Shinichi and use him as a test subject.
"Are we monsters?" Tamiya Ryoko looked at Izumi Shinichi, then at Jake. It seemed that humans' views on parasites were also part of their research.
With such terrifyingly analytical creatures existing, humanity would probably be completely wiped out soon.
Izumi Shinichi nodded slightly, hesitantly. "That's what I think."
She then turned her gaze to Jake.
Jake shrugged indifferently. "I think you're quite attractive."
"Hey! She's a parasite!" Izumi Shinichi whispered in fear to Jake.
"I see," Tamiya Ryoko nodded in understanding.
"I've already had sexual relations with this Mr. A in an experiment," Tamiya Ryoko pointed at Mr. A. "We did an experiment to see if we're really monsters."
"The result? I'm pregnant."
"So, the question now is, what exactly is that thing growing inside me?"
Treating the sacred act of conception as an experiment—only parasites could be so clinical.
"If the body is human, then the fetus is human too," Migi said.
"Yes," Tamiya Ryoko nodded. "A human child that undergoes no change whatsoever. So, what are we then?"
She muttered to herself. "Just endlessly repeating the cycle of self-destruction. Do such creatures even exist? What were we born into this world for? In short, we want to protect ourselves. Consider cooperating with us."
An olive branch was extended to Izumi Shinichi, leaving him somewhat bewildered, having never faced such a momentous decision.
"Of course he refuses," Jake said, drawing everyone's attention. From the beginning, these parasites had only seen Jake as food.
This feeling was unpleasant, and Jake was already tired of this meaningless conversation.
"You parasites need to kill to survive, and you even enjoy eating people. Even so, you still try to portray yourselves as victims. It's disgusting."
He didn't want to say anything more to these parasites. "If you don't want the news about the parasites to get out, come outside with me. Kill me, or I'll kill you."
With that, Jake walked out first.
Mr. A glanced at Tamiya Ryoko and followed.
