Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: First Day, New Dimensions

The U.A. High School campus loomed like a fortress of dreams, its glass towers gleaming under the morning sun. I adjusted my new uniform, the red tie snug against my collar, and clutched my backpack.

My heart raced-not from nerves, but from the surreal reality of standing here, accepted into Class 1-A. The entrance exam results had come last week, a glowing hologram from All Might himself praising my "heroic spirit." I'd scored 40 villain points and 30 rescue points, enough to secure my spot.

Superpower, now at 15% mastery, thrummed in my veins, green sparks flickering faintly when I flexed my hands. Dimensional Storage, upgraded to hold living beings, felt like a secret weapon in my mind's arsenal.

I wasn't just Izuku Midoriya, though. I was someone else, reborn from a world where My Hero Academia was just a manga, a show I'd binged late at night.

These characters-Bakugo, Uraraka, Iida-were fictional once, but now they were real, their quirks and personalities vivid in ways no page could capture.

I hadn't forgotten that truth, but it felt distant, like a half-remembered life. My focus was here: U.A., Class 1-A, and the Gacha System that had reshaped my destiny.

The system's neon interface pinged as I approached the classroom door, its familiar ding cutting through my thoughts.

Daily Pull Initiated... Two Pulls Granted for Milestone: U.A. Admission.

Pull 1: Item - Ochaco Uraraka's Underwear (D-Tier)

Description: A pair of standard-issue U.A. female uniform underwear, belonging to Ochaco Uraraka. No special properties. Stores in Dimensional Storage.

My face burned, and I nearly tripped over my own feet. Uraraka's underwear?! The system had pulled some weird stuff before-a Gourmet Cookbook, a Holographic Disguise Pen-but this was mortifying.

I glanced around, half-expecting someone to notice my panic. The item materialized in Dimensional Storage, a faint mental image of pink fabric making me cringe. I'd never summon it. Ever. Why would the system give me something so... useless? Was it trolling me?

Before I could dwell, the second pull flashed.

Pull 2: Skill - Dimension Create (S-Tier)

Description: Allows the user to create a temporary pocket dimension for themselves. Time within can be extended infinitely; outside, only 2 seconds pass until the user destroys the dimension to exit. Limited to one use per day. Stores in Dimensional Storage as a mental trigger.

My jaw dropped. Dimension Create was insane. Infinite time to train, plan, or recover, with only 2 seconds passing outside? I could practice Superpower, test Dimensional Storage's living-being feature, or even nap without missing a beat.

My Analytical Mind raced, calculating possibilities: train for hours in seconds, strategize mid-battle, or hide from danger. The underwear pull was a cruel joke, but this? This was a game-changer.

I took a deep breath, pushing open the door to Class 1-A. The room buzzed with voices, faces I knew from my past life's manga panels now alive and vibrant. Katsuki Bakugo slouched at a desk, scowling.

Ochaco Uraraka chatted with a green-haired girl-Tsuyu Asui, her frog-like quirk evident in her posture. Tenya Iida stood ramrod straight, lecturing a red-haired boy-Eijiro Kirishima, all grins and sharp teeth. A dual-haired boy, Shoto Todoroki, sat silently, his icy stare chilling the air. My knowledge screamed their names, quirks, and stories, but I forced myself to act normal. I wasn't a fanboy anymore-I was their peer.

_____________

The classroom quieted as our teacher entered. Shota Aizawa(Eraser Head), looked like he'd just crawled out of a sleeping bag, his eyes half-lidded but sharp.

"I'm your homeroom teacher," he drawled. "Put on your gym uniforms and head to the training field. No time for chit-chat."

Murmurs rippled, but we complied. In the locker room, I changed quickly, avoiding Bakugo's glare. "Don't get in my way, Deku," he snarled, his old nickname for me dripping with venom.

I nodded, keeping my distance. My knowledge warned me of his temper, but I wasn't the quirkless kid he remembered.

On the training field, Aizawa announced a Quirk Assessment Test-eight physical challenges to gauge our abilities. "We'll see what you can do. Last place gets expelled."

Gasps echoed. My Combat Instinct flared, sensing Aizawa's seriousness. Expulsion on day one? Brutal, but U.A. was no joke. I glanced at my classmates: Uraraka's nervous smile, Iida's determined nod, Todoroki's calm indifference, Kirishima's pumped fist. Bakugo cracked his knuckles, smirking. I had to shine, not just for me, but for Inko's pride.

The first test was a 50-meter dash. I lined up beside Tsuyu, who gave me a small "Ribbit, good luck." I smiled, remembering how I'd saved her in the exam using Dimensional Storage. Superpower at 8% surged, green sparks dancing as I sprinted. Enhanced Reflexes sharpened my form, and Analytical Mind adjusted my stride-6.2 seconds, third place behind Iida's Engine-driven 4.1 and Bakugo's explosion-propelled 4.8. Not bad.

Next was the grip strength test. I gripped the device, channeling Superpower carefully.

I summoned the glove, my grip hitting 200kg, sparks flaring. Kirishima, with Hardening, hit 300kg, grinning. "Nice one, man!"

The standing long jump tested versatility. I used Superpower for a powerful leap, Adrenaline Surge pushing me to 10% for a split second, clearing 10 meters.

Uraraka floated herself effortlessly, giggling, while Todoroki's ice propelled him further. My knowledge noted his dual quirk-fire and ice-but he only used ice now. Why?

(A/N: Izuku forgot that Why part, temporarily)

During the repeated side steps, I used Minor Telekinesis to nudge my footing, staying balanced. Combat Instinct kept me aware of stray pebbles, and Energy Efficiency let me sustain my pace. I placed mid-tier, behind Mina Ashido's fluid dance-like movements, her Acid quirk making her steps slippery.

The ball throw was my chance to shine. Uraraka went first, floating her ball into the stratosphere for an "infinity" score, her smile infectious.

I stepped up, taking the ball from Aizawa. I channeled 10% of Superpower, green sparks crackling, and hurled it. Analytical Mind calculated the arc-45 degrees, max distance.

The Kinetic Glove amplified the throw, sending the ball 1500 meters. Aizawa's eyebrow twitched. "Not bad, Midoriya."

Bakugo's explosion-powered throw hit 800 meters, kinda like between 50% to 60% near my 1500 meters record. Too bad for him.

______________

Midway through the tests, I felt a tug in my mind-Combat Instinct warning me of eyes on me. Aizawa? No, someone else. I glanced up, spotting a blonde third-year watching from a balcony. Mirio Togata.

His grin was friendly, but his stare felt heavy, like he saw through me. My knowledge screamed: He has One For All. Did he sense Superpower? The system's warning about "complications" echoed, making my stomach twist.

I pushed it down, focusing on the next test: sit-ups. Energy Efficiency kept my stamina high, and I synced my rhythm with Tactical Coordination, mimicking Iida's disciplined pace nearby. He nodded approvingly, his glasses glinting. "Your form is commendable, Midoriya!"

"Thanks, Iida," I said, my voice steady despite Mirio's distant gaze.

The seated toe-touch and distance run followed. I used Superpower sparingly, conserving energy with Efficiency. Tsuyu's frog-like flexibility dominated the toe-touch, while Todoroki's ice slides made the run effortless.

I kept pace, using Shock-Absorbing Insoles from Dimensional Storage to ease my joints. My score stayed solid-top five, not flashy but consistent.

_____________

Aizawa called a break before the final test: a combat simulation. "Pair up, show me your quirks in action against training bots," he said. "No holding back."

I paired with Uraraka, her cheerful "Let's do this!" easing my nerves. My knowledge recalled her Zero Gravity-perfect for combo attacks. "Uraraka, can you float my stuff?" I asked, summoning a crate from Dimensional Storage.

Her eyes widened. "You store things? Cool! Sure thing!" She touched the crate, making it weightless. I used Minor Telekinesis to hurl it at a bot, Superpower adding force. The crate smashed its core, earning us cheers from Kirishima.

Tactical Coordination kicked in, helping me predict Uraraka's moves-she floated another bot, and I punched it with the Kinetic Glove, sparks flying.

"Nice teamwork!" she said, high-fiving me. My face flushed, remembering the system's underwear pull. Never mention it, I vowed.

As we fought, I tested Dimension Create. A bot charged, and I activated the skill, slipping into a pocket dimension. The world vanished, replaced by a gray void.

Time was mine-hours to strategize, maybe days. I planned my next move, testing Superpower's 15% limit. My muscles ached, but a Senzu Bean (16 left) healed me instantly. I destroyed the dimension, reappearing after 2 seconds outside. To Uraraka, I'd barely blinked, but I was refreshed, landing a 17% Superpower punch to crush the bot.

"Whoa, you're fast!" she said, oblivious to my time trick.

The simulation ended, Aizawa scribbling notes. "Results tomorrow. Don't slack off." His threat of expulsion hung heavy, but I felt good. My quirks and skills had held up, and Uraraka's grin made me think I'd found a friend.

_______________

After class, I lingered in the hallway, catching my breath. The system chimed again.

User Growth Recognized: Successful integration into Class 1-A.

Superpower and Dimensional Storage synergy detected.

System Notice: Temporal and metaphysical stability holding. Avoid direct contact with One For All's true successor to maintain alignment.

Mirio. The system meant Mirio. His One For All was the real deal, tied to All Might, the vestiges. My Superpower was a Gacha fluke, a mimic that shouldn't exist. Was that the "complication"? Would meeting Mirio mess something up-quirk-wise, timeline-wise? My knowledge screamed possibilities: vestiges rejecting me, All For One sensing an anomaly, or worse, a paradox ripping this world apart.

I shook it off, heading to the cafeteria. Kirishima waved me over, sitting with Uraraka, Tsuyu, and a spiky-haired boy-Denki Kaminari, his Electric quirk sparking as he fumbled his chopsticks.

"Yo, Midoriya, you were awesome out there!" Kirishima said, his Hardening making his fist rock-solid as he bumped mine.

"Thanks," I said, sitting. Uraraka offered me a mochi, her smile bright. Tsuyu tilted her head, "Ribbit, you're full of surprises, Midoriya. That storage quirk is handy."

I laughed, deflecting. "Just trying to keep up." My reborn self marveled-these were Class 1-A's heroes, my future allies. Bakugo sat alone, glaring.

Todoroki ate silently, his dual-colored eyes unreadable. Iida joined us, lecturing Kaminari on table manners. This was it-the start of something bigger.

______________

That evening, I walked home with Inko, her pride radiating as I shared vague details of the day. "You're already making friends," she said, squeezing my hand. "I knew you'd shine."

At home, we ate katsu curry, her warmth grounding me. I didn't mention the system, Superpower, or Mirio's stare, but her belief fueled me.

In my room, I tested Dimension Create again, spending an hour in the void practicing Superpower punches. Outside, 2 seconds passed. My Analytical Mind mapped new combos: float debris with Uraraka, speed-toss with Iida. Tactical Coordination would make us unstoppable.

But Mirio's gaze haunted me. My reborn knowledge warned he'd be back-maybe tomorrow, maybe during training. The system's "stability" warning felt like a ticking clock.

Superpower, Dimensional Storage, my skills-they were mine, but they marked me as an outsider. I clutched a Senzu Bean, its glow steadying my nerves.

Class 1-A was my new home, but the path ahead was murky. Bakugo's rivalry, Mirio's scrutiny, the system's secrets-I'd face them all. For Inko, for myself, for the hero I chose to be. ki
