Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Not at all a Good Morning!

The whole scene was dark.

I stood in front of a massacre.

Bodies. Thousands of them. Hung in the air like grotesque ornaments.

Black rods pierced through their chests. Impaling them. Suspending them above the ground with nothing but that cruel support.

And the ones that weren't hung?

They lay dead on the ground. Pools of blood covering them. Spreading outward. Mixing together into a bloody sea.

More than hundreds of corpses were piled up. Stacked upon each other. Forming a throne of flesh and bone.

And above them stood a woman.

Looking at the sky.

'Where am I?'

Confusion flooded my mind.

I took a step forward.

SPLOSH.

The sound of my boots splashing through the blood made the woman twitch.

She turned. Looked toward the commotion.

Our eyes met.

She looked like something between a goddess and a witch.

Gorgeous. The epitome of beauty itself.

Long purple hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of amethyst. Light purple eyes that seemed to glow even in this darkness.

Something about her shifted the horror of the massacre. Made me admire her instead of fearing the carnage around us.

But those eyes.

They were filled with hatred. And beneath that hatred, I could feel it. Pain. Sadness. An ocean of suffering contained within those violet depths.

I wanted to say something.

To do something.

But before I could—

SHING.

A black rod formed from below. Pure darkness given physical form.

It pierced through my chest.

"GAHK—!"

Made me hang like the others. Suspended in agony.

The pain was immense. Overwhelming. My hand went instinctively toward my chest. Toward the source of that unbearable agony.

But my hand simply passed through the rod.

Touched only my chest.

And at that moment, the dark world became much darker.

Then my already opened eyes... opened again.

Some illogical phenomenon that defied all reason.

I was breathing heavily.

Hands still clutching my chest.

Then I saw her.

Mother.

Right in front of me. Sleeping peacefully. A smile on her face that could erase any pain in the world.

'It was just a bad dream.' I let out a slow breath of relief.

She was so close. I could feel her breath on my skin. Hear the soft rhythm of her breathing.

But something else demanded my attention.

Below.

My cock was hard. Hot. Throbbing.

I looked down.

My dick was still locked inside her pussy. Buried deep within her pussy even as we slept.

We were both naked.

And that's when the memories of last night came flooding back.

The shy mother of mine had transformed into something completely opposite. The horny, desperate version of her had emerged. She had embraced me. Showed authority over me. Acted as if I would leave her if she didn't claim me completely.

The whole night had been crazy as fuck.

My cock was burning now. Itching from too much overload. But I hadn't given my buddy a single chance to rest.

It had rested for fucking eight years in this world. I made it pay for all that laziness in a single day.

I had made it cum twice with mother alone. And I truly didn't know when I had passed out. But apparently, it was precisely in this position. Still connected. Still inside her.

I slowly pulled my cock out. Careful not to disturb her sleep.

SCHLOP.

And with that withdrawal, a flood came pouring from her pussy.

But it didn't look like my thick seed anymore. It was too watery. Too diluted.

The reason was obvious. It had been inside her for quite a long time. Mixed with her juices. Broken down by her body heat.

My cock was screaming in agony now. Too itchy. Oversensitive from overuse.

I was cursing it internally.

'If I had my real body here... the whole town's bellies would be out within a few months.'

Then a horrible thought struck me.

'Pregnancy.'

'Don't tell me my stupidity will cause pregnancy in the women I've fucked.'

My blood ran cold.

'No way. I can't be the father of my own family members' children.'

Then I sighed.

'Maybe I'm thinking too much. Pregnancy in this world is some complicated thing. There's no way it could happen so easily.'

Before I could spiral further into panic—

Mother opened her eyes.

In the most adorable way possible.

Slowly. Gently. Like a flower blooming at dawn.

She saw me. Reached up. Patted my cheeks softly.

"Good morning, hero."

I shot back a genuine smile.

"Good morning to you, mom."

An awkward silence settled between us.

We were naked. Completely exposed. As for blankets? I didn't have the slightest clue when we had kicked them off. Hell, I didn't even remember passing out. How would I know about blankets?

Before either of us could say anything more—

"My lady."

A female servant's voice came from beyond the door.

"Preparation for the departure has been made as per the steward's orders. He said we can proceed with the journey in the carriage after lunch."

I looked at mother, confused.

But she looked even more confused than me.

"Mother, what's this about?"

She ignored my question. Called out to the servant. "Weren't we departing for the capital tomorrow?"

"My lady, tomorrow is the banquet. We need half a day to travel. So... I think you misunderstood the timeline."

Mother's face shifted to panic.

She looked at me with wide eyes. "Yesterday was too messed up. I totally forgot about it."

"Forgot about what?"

"The clan head, Isolde del Astrea, is holding a banquet in the main capital."

She sat up. Started gathering her thoughts.

"All the heads of the branch families were invited. Along with royals from different kingdoms."

She pressed a hand to her forehead.

"Now that your father is no longer the head... I would have to attend."

She sighed.

"The steward said it was really important for me to show up. Not just because absence would show disrespect, but because I need to address myself as the new head. As the baroness."

That made sense.

And it also explained why she was panicking.

This would be her first banquet.

Father had never taken her with him. Not once. In all my memories of this world, she had always stayed behind. Hidden away. Treated as something shameful rather than a wife.

But now she was the head. She had to attend.

And seeing the clan head herself? That would be entertaining.

"Mother."

She looked at me.

"Can I accompany you? Would that be an issue?"

Her face literally glittered up. Joy flooding her features.

"Of course you can join me!"

She strangled her messy hair with her fingers. Tried to look composed.

"Actually... I would have asked you for the same."

I smiled.

"Then it's decided. Let's get ready for the banquet."

I stood up from the bed. "Let's see what it holds for us."

After some time, I had brushed my teeth and washed my face.

Now I was heading out for my usual training sessions. Even with a ball to attend, I couldn't skip building my body.

Mother was there at the door. Ready to send me off with her usual words.

"Be safe around—"

The main door opened before she could finish.

Three dull faces entered.

Aunt. Grandma. Father.

All of them looking defeated. Broken. Patched up from their injuries but clearly still suffering.

Beatrice was missing. I was pretty sure she had already left for the academy.

"Looks like all of you are patched up."

I crossed my arms.

"Good."

My mind was already calculating the next punishment. What creative torments I could devise for them.

But then mother spoke.

Her voice was cold. Ice cold. Directed at a servant nearby while her eyes stayed fixed on the three fools.

"Heena."

The servant straightened.

"Make sure that when we are out, they are treated below all of you."

The servant's eyes widened slightly.

"Make them work. Make them earn for their own food."

Mother's gaze hardened.

"And don't be scared of them. If anything happens, I will make sure they are punished for whatever they do."

She turned slightly toward the servant.

"If any problems arise, tell the steward, Paul. I have given him authority for the time being."

The three of them stood there. Silent. Unable to protest. Unable to do anything but accept their fate.

Mother started to turn away.

But then I spoke up.

"Mother!"

She paused.

"Now that father is a servant..."

I let the grin spread across my face.

"And servants don't need summons... so why not take them away?"

She looked at me.

Saw the grin on my face.

And shot back the exact same expression.
