"Well, thank you for that, Sir Rimuru. Now, Shion's going to kill me." Benimaru complained as Shion stormed off to begin cooking as many dishes as possible for him.
"You reap what you sow, man." I replied, "So give me the basic rundown." I asked as we plodded along through the streets of Tempest, towards the capitol building where I'd likely be forced to deal with a thousand massive, headache-inducing things at once.
'Speaking of headache-inducing, the Unlimited Imprisonment containing Veldora the Storm Dragon can be removed at will. It is recommended that you go to a sealed area before unleashing him, though.' my new Ultimate skill, Isis, casually reported.
Right. I had three ultimate skills now. So did Risa. I'll analyze them later, too.
Apparently, every single dead goblin had been resurrected, knowledge and personality completely intact, thanks to the Complete Memory extra skill. On top of that, they'd gained Self-Regeneration, and all merged with the spirits that Risa had used to preserve their bodies, which had all gotten Gifts from Risa on top of mine, making them all at least A-minus threats. As a former goblina who used to look like a little girl put it "We can die as much as we want to now!" Scary part was, she wasn't joking.
Gobta's EP had somehow shot up to around 80,000, when you added his Computerized Sword, it hit 150,000. That put him on par with where Hakuro's EP had been during the Orc Lord battle, making him unrecognizably stronger. Technically Calamity class.
According to Isis, he somehow got four Gifts during the Harvest Festivals. One from each of Risa and I, then a bit of extra through Rango and his sword, which magically repaired itself. Weird.
He wasn't the only one who'd evolved weirdly, though. All of the kijin were now higher-ranking Oni, with EPs somewhere between the pre-Harvest Festivals Risa and I on average. Ranga, Raya, and all of Ranga's Named Leader wolves had evolved a rank. Gabil and the Dragonewts had gained some weird skill called Dragon Body, and Geld and his elite orcs had evolved, too. Rigur was now something called a Wood Goblin, with some weird new intrinsic skill, and even the trio of demons that I'd just summoned with the Farmus army's corpses had gained benefits, the two Greater Demons evolving into Arch Demons, the Arch Demon gaining some weird Unique skill that he'd immediately used to give himself dominion over the two Farmus survivors' souls before sending them back home for Risa to use.
Which was another headache that I didn't want to deal with.
Apparently, to beef up the strength of the new king and his new court (a bunch of kids only slightly older than the kids that I taught), she used Spatial Movement to get Ramiris's help with housing some superior spirits inside them. On top of that, the church began subtly inquiring as to the state of affairs inside Farmus, so they reacted by sending Archbishop Rayheim back to the church's headquarters, with orders to tell them everything that he knew and everything that'd happened.
Apparently, they were also sent a note with him, handwritten by Risa, for Hinata. Basically, it was a peace offering, from both Tempest and the government of New Farminus (Farmus's new government).
Naturally, the new government was planning on separating church and state. Risa had (mostly) recreated the souls of old Farmus's two champions, Razen and Folgen and dropped them into two Dirt Golems in order to have them train whatever standing army New Farminus had left, while Risa's White Force took on the dirty work.
In the last two days, all of the government-level criminals had been dealt with, and the Free Guild had exported all of the proof of crime to the Council of the West, which had begun peppering the empty lot where the Royal Castle used to be with notices and demands for reparations for all of the crimes that all of these imprisoned or dead people had committed.
Luckily, those demands were for Farmus, a member nation of the Council. New Farminus was not a member nation of the Council, and therefore not beholden to its demands.
As a result, the White Force had begun tackling more normal crime. Especially slavery and organized crime, which generally led back to Cerberus or the Eastern Empire.
Apparently, the number of souls that Risa had accumulated cleaning the country up was quickly closing in on 100,000. Crazy.
And then my final headache. This one came courtesy of Milim. Apparently, she'd declared war on Eurazania. Said war had just begun, and abruptly ended approximately one hour ago. Now, Eurazania didn't have a capital city. Luckily, Carillon had ample time to evacuate the city, and they were now camped outside Tempest. Geld's men were setting tents up as we spoke.
Basically, according to Phobio, who'd seen the entire thing, Milim had shown up in the skies above Eurazania exactly as she'd told them she would, in full battle mode. Carillon had flown up to meet her in battle, and he'd unleashed his strongest attack right in her face.
She'd then deflected it with one fist, before retaliating with a blast that'd been on an entirely different level than Carillon's. It'd turned the capital city of Eurazania into a crater, flattened a mountain, and continued off into the horizon.
Luckily for Carillon, he'd managed to dodge it.
But then, Demon Lord Frey had appeared out of nowhere, given him a chop to the back of his head, and flying away with his unconscious body.
Straight towards the Demon Lord Seed Clayman's domain.
