Dodoria and I both stared upward as the white orb exploded, mixing with the atmosphere. It'd stay there until it dispersed, though I had no clue just how long that would be, since I'd only managed to successfully use the Power Ball technique twice, both times alone and at night.
Dodoria stared in confusion, while I smiled, feeling the Blutz Waves entering my body as the Power Ball began its work on my Saiyan physique.
The change started in my head. It felt like a pulse of raw, complex emotion, the type that made one stop in their tracks, unsure whether to laugh, cry, scream, or simply stare.
For some strange reason, though, the emotion blast didn't feel 'real' for me, though. My brain processed it, but not in the same way that it did 'real' emotions. It didn't stall my mind at all, allowing my brain to process the rest of the Blutz Waves' effects on my body.
Such as the rush of blood from my chest as my heartbeat deepened, my heart literally expanding inside of my chest.
Or the tingling sensation as the Blutz Wave energy rushed through my tail, mingling with my own ki energy and multiplying it tenfold. The new, enhanced ki surged from my tail throughout my body, forcing the physical parts of the transformation into overdrive wherever it went. My armor expanded as my body exploded in size, reaching the final stage of the transformation as the complex surge of emotions changed into much more 'real' rage.
And naturally, that rage immediately turned inward. To the thing I hated most.
Being controlled by something else. Specifically, the Oozaru form's rage.
Which gave me a perfect level of control over my new transformation in an instant. Well, not quite perfect. I still wasn't quite in my right mind, I couldn't change the fact that I got pissed off every single time that I used this form, and the rage definitely affected my judgement, making me act more 'Saiyan' than I normally would, but at least I was angry with a level head.
That still left me as one of the most level-headed Saiyans out there. Mental training could deal with the rest of the aftereffects… Over time. A lot of time.
"RRRAWWRRRRR!" I roared on instinct. Despite my own mind staying in control, I found it easier to pull the maximum amount of power out of the form if I went along with my instincts, at least a bit.
"...Dammit!" As I grew, Dodoria's face morphed from a look of confusion to a look of surprise, then one of horror, or something close-to, as he realized what was happening. A Saiyan in their normal form was easy for Dodoria to deal with. An Oozaru?
Yeah, a lot tougher. Since I had full control over my mind, the multiplier for me was about as close to ten as it could get, meaning that my power level was actually… noticeably higher than Dodoria's at the moment.
Still, though, I didn't dare lower my guard. Dodoria knew all about a Saiyan's weak point. If I let him near my tail, it was game over. Only my transformation stood a chance against Dodoria's raw strength right now.
"You may be a giant ape, but you're still just a dirty Saiyan! And I WILL DESTROY YOU RAAAH!" Dodoria's entire figure exploded with a red aura as he tucked his feet in and streaked through the sky toward my gigantic chest, almost faster than my eyes could follow.
Almost.
At the last second, I punched the giant pink cannonball with my left fist. Dodoria managed to swerve at the last minute, though, making me miss by a matter of inches before nearly slamming into my forearm. I pulled back at the last minute, so that he didn't shatter bones, but I could instantly tell that it'd leave a nasty bruise in the morning.
I didn't have time to think about it, though. Before Dodoria could process the impact, I struck out at his body with a spinning kick.
This time, the blow landed, sending Dodoria's fat body careening through the air "YAAAH!" I roared in satisfaction as the Dodoria Home Run made a perfect line, straight into the chasm that he'd made earlier.
"DIIEEE!" From the depths of the chasm, I could still sense Dodoria's energy, as he charged a powerful energy bomb and shot it at me. I responded by batting it aside with my right hand.
Or, trying to bat it aside. It exploded against the back of my hand as soon as I touched it. The fur blackened, falling off in chunks as my hand instantly blistered from the force of the explosion, one that would've literally obliterated me without a trace in my original form.
Stifling my roar of pain, I channeled the rage that formed into my jaw. Opening it, I unleashed a barrage of small energy blasts toward where I could sense Dodoria's energy originate from.
"FINE! I'LL END THIS RIGHT NOW! DODORIA… CUTTER!" From the chasm, Dodoria released a gigantic pink disk. It reminded me of the destructo-disk technique, but bigger, clumsier, and barely held together with the energy equivalent of duct tape and blind luck.
Still, though, it was curving in midair, moving at a speed that I could only barely react to as it flew straight toward my backside.
I didn't have time to think. My body just reacted before my mind could catch up, shifting to block the energy disk.
Instead of cutting into the base of my tail, I gasped in pain as the disk dug itself deeply into the flesh of my right forearm.
It sliced straight from the wrist to the inside of my elbow, before veering off course, slicing a shallow cut into my side, and flying off.
Upward.
"NOOOO!" I screamed in horror, clutching my injured, bleeding arm in pain as I gathered energy in my jaw to unleash a modified Regalia Wave from it, to destroy the energy blade before…
But I was too late.
With barely a sound, Dodoria's Dodoria Cutter sliced straight through my Power Ball, and both techniques faded away. My Oozaru Regalia Wave missed its target completely, as my height immediately began fading away along with the Blutz Wave energy in my body, throwing the trajectory and size of my energy wave completely off mark.
I stared at the sky in horror, trying desperately to soak in whatever Blutz Wave energy was left in a desperate attempt to hold my transformation beyond the Power Ball's fading.
It didn't work. Soon, I was hovering there in my normal form, my arm hanging limp at my side, my armor and undershirt wrecked from the Dodoria Cutter. Basically, my entire right arm, along with part of my torso, was useless and covered in blood. If I was a normal human, I'd be worrying about the chance of losing my arm right now.
But… My arm was the least of my problems.
"Ha! You were barely a match for me in that other state! You don't have a chance now!" Dodoria boasted, as we both realized that the fight was, essentially, lost for me.
There was a full moon tonight, but I'd only be able to transform into my Oozaru form once the sun's rays, shining onto Celatus, weren't blocking the majority of the full moon's Blutz Rays.
And it was still barely noon.
I was basically helpless. But I couldn't give up. That literally wasn't an option. This was life or death. I'd fight for this planet, or die trying.
I was going to die.
