Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Let's Fill It Up!

After pulling out the katana, Tike handed it to Erza.

"I created this with Maker Magic as well, so it also contains my magic power. Big Sis, try using Space Magic to teleport this and see if it makes any difference."

Erza took the katana. A cold sensation transmitted from her fingertips. The exquisite dragon pattern on the blade seemed to come alive, shimmering with a faint glow under the morning light.

Feeling the extraordinary aura of the katana in her hand, Erza couldn't help but ask curiously, "What is this sword?"

She could sense that Tike had expended much more effort creating this sword than anything else. She wondered why he had gone to such lengths.

Tike tilted his head, his brown hair sticking up slightly.

"Judging by the scent, I felt this thing suited you better, Big Sis, so I tried making it. Do you know how to use a sword?"

"No..."

"I see. It doesn't matter; just try it quickly."

"Okay."

Erza refocused her mind, connecting her consciousness with this mysterious katana.

!

The katana vanished without a trace in an instant.

"I can vaguely sense it... that sword was sent to a very special space."

Tike paused, combining the results of the previous experiments to reach a conclusion.

"It's not that you can't teleport things I create with Maker Magic, Big Sis, but rather you can't teleport things that appear to be living creatures. Teleporting things like weapons is no problem. This magic is..."

Tike's voice suddenly trailed off. Erza widened her eyes, expecting his explanation.

However, the six-year-old boy simply revealed an incredibly serious look and said in a matter-of-fact tone:

"I don't know either."

"..."

Erza almost stumbled.

She had thought Tike would offer some professional explanation. After all, he looked so smart and had mastered various magical spells. She hadn't expected him to say that at all.

But it was understandable.

Tike had seriously studied magic for no more than two months at most. The rest of the time, he relied entirely on self-practice. How could he know so much theoretical knowledge about magic?

Seeing Erza's speechless expression, Tike scratched his head and proposed what he thought was a brilliant idea: "How about you guys come with me to find Mom Ur? She's an adult and a very powerful wizard. She definitely knows more than me. Maybe she knows what's going on with your magic, Big Sis."

"This..."

Erza bit her lower lip lightly, a trace of hesitation flashing in her clear eyes.

The "Mom Ur" Tike spoke of sounded like an incredibly powerful magic master. If she could get her guidance, perhaps she could really solve the mystery of her magic.

(But that would be troubling her...)

She and this "Mom Ur" were total strangers. Wouldn't it be too abrupt to visit rashly and cause unnecessary trouble for Tike?

Seemingly sensing Erza's concern, Tike added cheerfully, "Don't worry, Big Sis! Mom Ur is a very, very good person! She even adopted several children like me! If you behave well later, be sweet, and say nice things, maybe Mom Ur will like you and take you as disciples, or even directly as daughters!"

Infected by Tike's optimism, Erza relaxed a little and teased, "Is that how you became the adopted son of this 'Mom Ur' you talk about?"

"Not really."

Recalling what happened back then, a somewhat subtle expression appeared on Tike's face.

"I was fierce back then. I rushed up and questioned her why she left Big Sis Ultear in such a terrible place like the Magic Development Bureau. Of course, it turned out to be a misunderstanding in the end. Mom Ur was deceived by those people because she wanted to cure Big Sis Ultear's illness."

Although Tike mentioned it simply, Erza still felt a trace of heaviness in his words. Her throat tightened, and she didn't know how to respond. A subtle awkwardness permeated the air.

Just then, Tike suddenly changed the subject.

"Interfering with that special space is a bit troublesome for me. Big Sis, can you take out the weapon you just teleported in by yourself?"

"Take it out... I'll try."

Erza followed his instructions and began trying to sense the teleported katana. Soon, she felt something.

She looked down, but what she had taken out was the tree branch from the very beginning.

"This... let me try again!"

Erza continued to sense, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't feel the existence of "Star-Shatterer," let alone retrieve it.

"I'm sorry, Tike. I might have... lost your item."

Erza lowered her head, her voice somewhat low.

She felt she had failed Tike's trust and accidentally lost his precious magical creation.

"It's fine, it's not a big deal anyway."

Tike waved his hand indifferently. He pressed his hand on the ground again and activated his Maker Magic.

This time, he didn't create just one katana like before. instead, he pulled various weapons from the ground—sabers, spears, swords, halberds, axes, battle-axes, hooks, and forks. It was a dazzling array that piled up into a small hill in the clearing in the blink of an eye.

However, compared to the previous "Star-Shatterer," these newly created swords and blades were ordinary in both appearance and aura, looking like typical mass-produced goods.

Tike pointed at the hill of weapons, his blue eyes shining.

"Big Sis Erza, let's see if we can fill up that special space!"

"Eh?!"

---

All kinds of weapons emerged endlessly under Tike's magic, while Erza was responsible for teleporting these weapons one by one into that mysterious unknown space.

After teleporting an unknown number of weapons, Erza couldn't hold on any longer and collapsed onto the grass with a thump.

There were still a few weapons scattered on the ground that she hadn't had time to teleport.

Erza felt her magic power had been drained dry, and her body felt hollowed out. Even lifting a finger became incredibly difficult.

Seeing this, Tike immediately stopped creating weapons and used Healing Magic on her instead.

Besides healing wounds, his magic could also restore stamina. He had planned to use it on Kagura and Yukino after his little emo session so they could recover better.

Erza felt a warm power flowing into her body. The exhaustion gradually dissipated, and her tired muscles began to relax.

This feeling was just like when she was eating earlier, full of comfortable satisfaction.

Seeing Erza's condition improve, Tike asked with concern, "Big Sis Erza, how do you feel now? Can you continue?"

Erza slowly got up, picked up a weapon closest to her, and shook her head gently.

"I feel... it's already full."

Hearing this, Tike tilted his head and started counting on his fingers seriously, muttering under his breath.

"Hmm... let me think. That space is very big; it can hold more than a hundred roast geese."

"...Why count with roast geese?" Erza's mouth twitched slightly, unable to resist retorting.

They were clearly storing all kinds of weapons. Why calculate using food, and not even an exact number?

"Because I like them," Tike answered frankly.

Looking at Tike's innocent face, Erza's heart softened slightly, and a faint smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.
