Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 Taylor Swift is distressed, national team issues

"Oh, My God, mamba committed a serious foul from behind on Fly."

"Looking at Fly's painful fall, the situation doesn't seem good!"

"The Main Referee ran over, red card, the Main Referee showed mamba a red card!"

"There is no problem at all. mamba's foul was purely aimed at the person, and clearly involved showing his studs. This was absolutely a red card offense."

"The Main Referee's decision was very decisive and very correct!"

"Blackburn Rovers, already trailing 1:4, will now face the predicament of playing 10 against 11. It has to be said that at this point in the match, there is basically no suspense left."

On the sidelines, Arsène Wenger's face changed drastically when he saw Fly fall painfully on the pitch. His usual gentle and elegant demeanor instantly broke down.

"He is committing a crime! He has committed a completely immoral and bottomless personal assault on my player. He must be severely punished!"

Arsène Wenger uncharacteristically unleashed a tirade at the Fourth Official.

"Mr. Arsène, please don't get agitated. mamba has already been sent off. Please trust our referee team's judgment. We will not cover for the culprit."

The Fourth Official on the sidelines quickly explained to Arsène Wenger.

If it were a regular coach, the Fourth Official wouldn't be so polite and might even issue a warning.

But when facing an experienced Premier League giant like Arsène Wenger, even the referee would speak politely unless absolutely necessary.

This is also why world-class coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger always like to pressure referees.

Because their pressure can, to a certain extent, influence the referee's decisions.

If a referee were to rashly send off a coach like Sir Alex Ferguson or Arsène Wenger, who to some extent represent the image of the Premier League, to the stands...

They would definitely face huge public pressure after the match, and this is not something the referee team wants to see.

So under normal circumstances, even the arbiters on the field will not easily conflict with coaches of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger's caliber.

At this moment, Arsène Wenger was filled with a million regrets.

If he had known this would happen, he should have substituted Fly earlier.

Just because he delayed for a few minutes, this unforeseen misfortune occurred! Arsène Wenger was so angry he just wanted to curse!

He knew that all his future plans for Arsenal were built on the foundation of Fly staying healthy.

If even this foundation was gone, what future was there to talk about!

Putting everything else aside, Arsène Wenger would have a big question mark over whether the transfer fees could still be supplied in full.

He knew very well that Fly's father invested in this transfer window purely because of his son.

Otherwise, Arsenal would still have to support itself, and spending lavishly in the transfer window would basically be an empty talk.

"Robin, get on." Arsène Wenger called out to Van Persie, who had finished warming up, and decisively made the substitution.

Fly rolled around on the grass for a full minute before getting up dramatically, pretending to be injured, and returned to the sideline with the help of Fabregas.

"Fly, how are you? How does your body feel?" Arsène Wenger took Fly from Fabregas and immediately began his cordial inquiry.

The team doctor also came forward immediately to make a diagnosis.

"Boss, I'm okay, but I want to pretend for a bit and rest for a few days. That way I can avoid England's European Cup qualifiers in a few days."

Seeing Fly lean into his ear and whisper, Arsène Wenger breathed a sigh of relief.

Based on his past experience, people who can do such sneaky things usually don't have any major physical problems.

"Okay, I can understand how you feel. It's fine if you don't go to the national team. Anyway, I don't want you to play too many matches at your current age, as it won't do your body any good."

As a Frenchman, Arsène Wenger certainly did not want Fly to participate in national team matches; focusing on the club was enough.

After all, whether Fly played for England or the United States, it wouldn't be for France.

Given this, he fully supported Fly's behavior of faking an injury to evade the Football Association's call-up.

"But you must have the club check you thoroughly to ensure your body is truly fine before you can continue playing." Arsène Wenger added after speaking.

He wasn't a doctor and couldn't confirm whether Fly was genuinely injured or faking it.

If it was the latter, everything was fine. If it was the former, Arsène Wenger would have to consider whether to let Fly continue playing this season.

Compared to Fly's health, Arsène Wenger didn't value this season's results as much.

As long as they could finish in the top four in the League and ensure they had Champions League football next season, that was enough.

As for the championship, Arsène Wenger wasn't overly pursuing it.

As long as Fly was there, Arsenal winning the championship was only a matter of time.

Finally, Fly "limped" into the player tunnel with the help of the team doctor.

This scene made Taylor in the stands feel incredibly heartbroken.

Almost immediately after Fly entered the locker room for examination, Taylor, as a player's family member, came to his side.

"Darling, how is your body? Does it hurt? I saw that N-word commit such a malicious foul on you from the stands, I wanted to pull out a gun and shoot him!"

As expected of an American girl, her racial tendencies towards black people were inadvertently revealed.

"elder sister, I'm fine, I did it on purpose. I haven't decided which country to play for yet, so I'm using the injury to stall for a while. The European Cup qualifiers are starting next week, I need to avoid them."

Seeing her little man wink furiously at her, Taylor chuckled and ruffled Fly's hair with her hand.

"What a little clever boy, why is my Fly younger brother so smart?"

Taylor teased him a few times, but then asked seriously, "Doctor, is Fly's leg okay?"

"Currently, there doesn't seem to be any problem, everything is normal, but further examination is needed."

Hearing this, Taylor let out a sigh of relief and nodded, "That's good, thank you, Doctor."

"You're welcome. Fly is the club's most valuable asset. No one at the club wants him to be injured."

The team doctor joked, then got up to leave, giving the young couple their private space.
